"La Xula Tapería Set in the trendy Gràcia neighborhood, this lively, convivial tapas bar is a magnet for hip locals seeking a modern twist on traditional Catalan cuisine. The creative young kitchen staff turn out an array of fresh, inventive, generously portioned dishes at surprisingly affordable prices. Start with the salmon tartare with wasabi ice cream or tuna tataki on flatbread; mains include grilled octopus nestled atop sweet potatoes and drizzled in a smoky olive oil, and cannelloni stuffed with traditional butifarra sausage and mushrooms. Prices range from 4.50 to 12.90 euros (approximately $5 to $14). Service is friendly and efficient."

Google
My favorite restaurant in Barcelona. The place is nicely designed and it's not too noisy. The service is friendly and helpful. But the food is just terrific. The unusual tapas of fusion cuisine are well thought out and balanced in flavor. My favorite are the mini burgers in bao buns and the salty chocolate.

The food was good but the portions are small and the prices are high. Not a lot of options to choose from. Place is rather small so it gets quite busy and it can be hard to find a table without reservation.

Google
They don’t offer many options for food, and if you’re vegan, there are only 2-3 choices available. The vibe is decent—it’s a good spot if you’re just looking to grab a drink.

Cute taperia with creative bites and friendly service. The spinach cannelones were wonderful. The prices are good and the location is in the hip Gracia neighborhood, with easy Metro access and lots of fun boutiques, cafes and area to explore

Yelp
What a better way to experience Barcelona than to wander around the un-touristy streets and just go inside a bar at a whim . We were heading back after a really long day and wanted to grab a quick bite before dinner . This place looked nice and the staff was friendly. We started with a glass of sangria and Rioja and ordered the Bikini Jamon. The food was mehh and the drinks pretty basic . I also found the spot slightly expensive compared to other bars .

Yelp
Fucking perfect. Everything about this place. Let's start with the service. Awesome! Bartenders are super friendly and happy to chat if they have time. Drinks - ok we didn't get outlandish here but everything was well done. We had some vino y limon and a beer, finished with some espresso. Tapas - here's where they truly shine. Can you say Foie fucking mousse? I thought so. Delicious with some eggplant. Best Pan de Tomate in the city, and if you think I'm wrong - hit me up and next Barcelona we can see. Their meatballs of the sea and mountain are out of this world. Big meaty balls swimming around in a sea of saucy goodness filled with chunks of cuttlefish. If you're still reading just head there now and eat up. And don't forget to tip your server.

Yelp
Love this place! It's one of my favorite tapas place in Gracia neighborhood. The interior is very cute and every dish I've tried so far are delicious! I definitely recommend their tuna on cookies, and ibérico pork (not Jamón, the regular meat version). But honestly you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

Yelp
Delicious! The atmosphere and the staff were so wonderful that every time we paid the bill we ended up staying for another round of wine and tapas. Don't miss the chicken, one of my favorites in Barcelona.

Yelp
We were recommended this spot by a close friend. I was initially super excited to try it out due to its excellent reviews. So, while I'm on my wonderful vacation, I attempted to go here on a Tuesday evening at 11:00 PM -- because this page advertised itself as being OPEN UNTIL 2 AM. Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I took, and paid for, a cab ride to this restaurant -- only to find an open door paired with a disgustingly RUDE bartender who insisted that they were CLOSED AT MIDNIGHT on Tuesday evenings. I find it incredibly ODD that this establishment is "closed" AT 11 PM -- when it is clearly open -- and there is a trashy bartender, standing there enjoying drinks -- with five other of her friends -- in a public business. Shame on you, La Xula Taperia. TRAVELERS BEWARE. This spot is a joke. 0/5 stars.

Yelp
We went in the first night we arrived and we went back there on our last night. The octopus dish and the ceviche were very tasty! My brother, sister, and I met 2 of the staff there: Miguel and Leandro. They were both very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the place even more because of them.

Yelp
Honestly, this place is very good. I especially recommend the burrata starter, left us with our mouth watering and almost asked for a second plate (if it weren't for the other tapas we ordered, we definitely would've!)

Yelp
A must go to in Barcelona. Serve traditional Spanish tapas with each drink ordered. Great ambiance with outdoor seating. Highly recommended, great prices for a great value.

Yelp
Easily best tapas in the area. We happened to stay at CityTrip Gracia right across the street. We thought it too convenient that this place was right next door so we tried a bunch of other places to compare. Xula Taperia won over all of them. The Tuna Tataki was my favorite. Another really good dish was the Black rice with squid ink. They also make a variety of greasy fried bar food which is also quite delightful.
