La Yola

One of the best experiences we’ve had and definitely the best during our visit at Punta Cana! Willy was the most attentive, knowledgeable server and his kindness continued even after our dinner helping us make sure that we had transportation to go back to our hotel. The food was delicious! On point with the flavor and portion size. Willy also made us a special cocktail after we shared our preferences and when we come back, we’ll ask for the Willy’s special. Our favorite the octopus and the risotto!

It was an amazing experience, I really enjoyed it, there was a great atmosphere, the staff was so professional specially Mr Yoanny and Jean Carlos. If you planning a birthday celebration, a proposal, etc … I recommend this place at 💯 %, I will come back soon. 🔜

We had an absolutely incredible dining experience at La Yola in Cap Cana. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The eggplant Parmesan appetizer was exceptional, rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. For the main course, the crab and skirt steak were beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. To end the meal, the coconut flan was phenomenal, light, creamy, and the perfect finish. What truly elevated the night was our waiter, Jean Carlos. His service was exceptional from start to finish. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. His timing, recommendations, and attention to detail were flawless and added so much to the overall experience. The music was fantastic and set the perfect mood, complementing the stunning waterfront atmosphere. Everything came together for a memorable evening with incredible food, great energy, and world class service. Thank you Jean Carlos and the La Yola team for such a wonderful night. We cannot wait to return.

Cute place at the marina. Food was good and service was excellent. Willy has good recommendations, was very nice and accommodating. I got the coconut shrimp - was good but different than what I'm used to. The eggplant parm appetizer thing was so good we got a second portion. (We don't recommend the calamari.)

Excellent service, very warm and friendly. Attention to detail, even with distinct cutlery for each diner depending on their order. Frequent visits to the table to top up drinks. The waiter misheard our order for an appetizer but apologized and returned with the correct item quickly and without making a fuss. The location was stunning, over the water, at a marina - with a hole in the floor to observe marine life (if the water weren't so muddy.) Having said all that, the food was mediocre. The "Cajun" seasoning lacked flavor and was basically a tomato salsa. Rice and beans was a disappointing accompaniment to the catch of the day, and the tostones lacked flavor or seasoning. The pumpkin Parmesan risotto was nice in flavor but rather gooey in texture, and a dab of butter in the center seemed an odd pairing. The birthday cake was automatically added to our bill because we said it was a birthday, and it was as dense as shortcake. Not what we were expecting. We ordered two glasses of wine, but he brought the bottle to our table. When he poured a third glass to finish the bottle, we were charged for a 3rd order of a glass of wine rather than being charged for the bottle. All in all of was a pleasant evening of being well looked after, but the quality of the food would keep us from returning in a hurry.

I contacted the team in advance to arrange the proposal to my girlfriend and they helped to make it very special for us both. They seated up in a beautiful boat-like table that pokes out of the restaurant and overlooks the harbour, the best seats in the house I must say! Restaurant wise the food was incredible, the carribean style eggplant starter is so delicious and they had a lobster risotto which was also beautiful. Thanks again for everything to the team!

Nice place to visit. Unfortunately, getting uber back to your destination it’s difficult. We had to get in a taxi recommended by one of the staff. I was little bit scary, but i trusted what my mine was telling me. Good thing, the texi driver was nice and friendly.

We much enjoyed the ambience, attentiveness of the staff, great food and seating near the water. A great experience all around, we went there with someone local. Not sure it is frequented by tourists all to much, located in a gated community area. We spend a couple hours there in the early part of the week and there was ample seating, no reservations needed.
