I'm genuinely struggling to find the words to describe this food. It is simply magnificent. Every single bite was a powerful trip back to my childhood in Argentina—not just to any table, but specifically to the incredible, authentic cooking of our Italian neighbors each Sunday. This food is a mirror of those days. If you want a taste of genuine, soulful, and unforgettable cooking, this is where you need to be. It's a taste of home.

Lovely lovely place! The owner and waitress were super nice and welcoming. The place is warm and cozy, and the panini’s and pastas are made fresh. I recommend the ravioli dish🍝

Very nice and cute Italien place, the food is fresh and there are some new specials regularly. The waitress, was really nice and friendly, also very helpful and took time to explain the dishes to me.The place is quiet small and can get full very easily, since it’s also a take out / cater business, people inside quickly build up .This make eating not so peaceful anymore but non the less the atmosphere is still nice. Because it this I didn’t stay for dessert but the appetiser and the main course was really nice. The charcuterie board is really worth the money with all the typical italien produce, really nice. The pasta were delicious. I would come back again but maybe not on a Saturday, a less busy day would be nicer.

This is a very small cafe-shop with homemade Italian food and products for sale. Open since 2002!!!!! You can take away or eat on the spot! I tried pumpkin ravioli in truffle sauce, they were amazing!!! Also, the pizza, which was not very tasty, the dough was stale and not fluffy, as is usually the case in Italian pizza. The pizza is not on the actual menu, I think that's why it was not so good. I was impressed that the only staff of the cafe was the owner, he turned out to be a witty and kind Italian man with a good sense of humor) There were almost no visitors in the cafe-shop, which upset me because I like to support small family businesses and I want such places to be popular! I will definitely be back to try other takeaway dishes. I recommend you to visit this place! Thank you Stefano!

What an absolutely delightful Italian deli. Can't wait to return for some more delicious goodies. Super friendly staff and it's a pleasure to shop here. Highly recommended! PS: don't be deterred that it's not in the city centre. Public transport will take you there within minutes

Italian chef Stefano Campailla runs a special kind of shop. True to its very core, even the staff speak English with an Italian accent. La Zia Maria functions as a shop, a restaurant and a take-a-way all at the same time. No time in your busy life to sit down and enjoy the luxurious garden? Not a problem. Sometimes your favorite products may have run out but the staff will always let you taste new marvelous things to entice your tastebuds. Sausages, pastas, olive oil and sweets, all imbued with the flavor of "il Tricolore". Of course there will always be coffee 'cause nobody does a better espresso than La Zia Maria. And while sipping your espresso why not treat yourself to a cannoli as well. Remember to take some time out of your busy, busy life. Nice place if you like good Italian food and wine. Home-made take away, or the fine Italian bread this restaurant has to offer is for sure one to remember on your way home (or wherever!). Good coffee and the owner knows how to make you feel at home. What more to know? Ahh yeah, this all comes with fair prices.
