Pros - located in San Benito/ La Zona, which is a nice modern and safe area in San Salvador - 20 mins Uber from the centre and also easy enough to take the local bus to the centre. The staff were helpful when I asked about directions etc though this information is not readily available for guest and was a lot of guessing.
Cons - this hostel has the worst mattress I’ve slept on in my whole month of being in El Salvador, I picked a more expensive hostel in hope to get a good nights sleep before travelling 26hrs by plane the next day. I could feel springs in my chest all night, which meant it was impossible to sleep without them digging into my body. The hostel promotes itself as luxury and modern at a high price point, the cheapest shared dorm is $17, however, there is nothing that reflects that high price point e.g showers are cold, no free towel, no free breakfast, no free morning coffee, and not even free drinking water available (which is bare minimum) at that high price point, you would expect this to be offered, as I have seen in many, if not ALL other hostels in El Salvador. On a whole, the amenities are quite basic. I was really disappointed with this hostel. It was the most expensive place I stayed in the whole month in El Salvador and is where I had the worst nights sleep I had the whole trip! Maybe they are a new hostel, but I would highly recommend acting on this feedback for improvements.
