This place has a beautiful setting with a patio overlooking the harbor. On most days they are open for lunch. Why then, on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon are they closed? I stopped by later, before 5 to see if they would be open for dinner and the woman said they were closed for a private party. That party was a group of teenagers eating supermarket birthday cake and drinking cokes from bottles. The owners are inconsistent with the hours in general and the food can be inconsistent as well. He's cooking, she's cooking. Sometimes the chive dumplings are crisp and good, other times greasy and soggy. Don't order the curry puffs. What you get is flabby, barely fried, uncooked, cheap pastry dough with a teaspoon of tasteless filling. I was once talked into getting the cornish hen for 14 dollars and it a small half hen with a very mild flavors and plain vegetables on the side. Way over priced. The rice noodle dishes are, as is typical in many Thai places, too sweet without any depth of flavor. Also typical of restaurants that feature summer rolls, they are filled mostly with rice noodles, sloppy and fat. Some appetizers are good: the fried shrimp rolls and pork dumplings. The bill can really soar if you order a lot of apps and a couple of entrees. I've honed the experience to sitting on the patio, ordering a couple of apps and the salad with fried springrolls.
