The restaurant is very beautiful and has a great atmosphere. The food was incredibly delicious! If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit. It’s worth making a reservation in advance, as it’s often fully booked.

Wonderful cosy restaurant that serves delicious warm food to fill our tummies. Love that they served warm Pumpkin soup that has some art work on it!. Just too beautiful to stir it up and eat it. Admire it before you dig in ! The Pork ribs were marinared and grilled to perfection ! Served with baked potato and fresh salad. Elk sirlion has tender meat with baked potato and salad. So yummy with their special sauce. Finished off with not too sweet delicious dessert. Really satisfying meal here. Compliment to the chef! Excellent service too. Had lunch for New Year’s eve.

A truly memorable evening. From the first welcome, to detailed explanation of our food, where it was sourced, and which wines to pair. The food was incredible, you didn’t want your plate to empty. Dessert was exquisite, with further wine pairings. A terrific night to be remembered.

got served a lovely 3 course. i think it was pumpkin soup is tasty but very peppery. they also give you bread with it. reindeer meat is cooked very nicely and tasted great. it’s tender and not dry at all. panna cotta dessert is also delicious. light in terms of sugar, i was a bit iffy on the berry element but i managed to finish everything i was given. our server was also very nice she has a lot of energy.

Excellent dinner experience with local cuisine prepared from premium products and good wines. Reindeer roast finalized by open fire next to your table - that doesn’t happen in every place… Good selection of wines and friendly service in this family restaurant!

We had a fantastic meal! Such friendly people, delicious food (reindeer shoulder) and the beers and wines are great as well. Two days ago we had a pizza in Saariselkä city center. For the same price!!!! I would definitely recommend to have the 2 km walk and enjoy REAL food. Highly appreciated!

If you’re in the area this is a must go! As soon as we walked in the door we knew we hot a gem. We were greeted with kindness and welcomed as if we were home. The cozy restaurant has a small table in front of an open fire where we enjoyed very delicious cocktails until our appetizers came out. The food was OUTSTANDING. We had mushroom soup and cured reindeer meat served with tomatoes prepared 3 different ways. Both delicious!! Then our main courses: pan seared mallard and reindeer tenderloin. Both cooked to perfection. The chef came out to greet us and was a joy to speak with and learn more about the food and preparations. Don’t skip dessert and ask about their special hot cocktails which are also delicious. They are only open. Short while longer and then will close until the season picks up. If you are in town…definitely go visit. You will not be disappointed. We loved it so much, we are actually going back tomorrow to enjoy some dishes we missed. The service is outstanding. Cute and cozy atmosphere. Can’t go wrong.
