I love the experience of this cinema, plus the restaurant. We had a really good time. Enjoyed some pizza before the movies had a drink. The ambience was quite good. I really really liked the decoration of the place and you could actually enjoy a nice and very quiet spot too, and you know have a conversation or have dinner right before your movie. I enjoyed that you could bring food onto the movies and that’s definitely something nice when we went into the movies. Actually, the movie seats are not assigned so you can just you know make a line and get whichever seat you prefer based on what’s available.

Fabulous place to enjoy an evening at! Cool retro vibes. Funky selection of movies. Great non-alcoholic beer options in the vending machine.

This is a gem in Amsterdam. Every time I come back to the city, my boyfriend and I come to watch a movie here. It has an unmatched vibe, some truly comfortable feeling that can’t be described! Being able to bring in a drink or snack from the bar and just enjoying the movie with a bunch of cinema enthusiasts is such a pleasure. See you next time Lab!

I am sad to say that I got quite disappointed. The place itself is amazing with lots of cool screenings. But I had some issues: First, I almost missed the beginning of the movie because no one was there to open the room and there was a sign of a movie in progress (there wasn’t). But okay. Second, there was a technical issue during the screening, which got interrupted. The actual problem is that no one was monitoring that. No one came to inspect and talk to us. I had to be the one to leave the room and go outside twice (!!) to complaint until they actually fixed. That was like 20min of interruption. I got quite annoyed and almost asked for my money back. Very amateurish to say the least :(

I have gone here for years. They have great programs obviously but I think the audience culture could be better. Lots of chip bags and whispering. I often find myself distracted while trying to watch movies at this theater

My favourite cinema in Amsterdam by far. I love this place, the rooms are just so comfortable and cozy and the agenda is super, from niche movies to mainstream ones, not to mention the many early premieres, the festivals and all the old movies which get shown again during events and special occasion. The bar of the place is awesome as well, with many drinks, beers that come with a piece of cheese and one of the best pizzas I tried in the city! Totally recommend it.

A nice cafe to enjoy a quick bite before or after the movie. It’s also allowed to take your drink inside the movie hall. And to my surprise they had not just one, but two options of Gluten Free sweets! The orange almond I tried was really delicious! 😋

Cool retro vibe! I had a lovely movie date with my husband here. The best part was the vintage photobooth that shows how the photo was being developed. ♡♡♡
