I went out with my friends. We are from the same class master degree from the university of Ouaga and we enjoy the place. It was a little bit high on price to get in, but we we had fun.

This place is perfect place for locals but for me as an foreigner not the greatest and it's again I'm leaving angry. Nice atmosphere and can be very busy in weekends however if you are used to European beaches this one is not the place you come for relax. Avoid beach bars or at least make sure you keep eye on the prices and what you are eating. We drank about 5 origins, jollof rice and plate with yam, plantain, chicken. We paid total about 1430 Ghs(87£), which is madnes for shabby bar without even proper washroom. This is rip off and I'm not stepping to those beach bars again. This is very bad towards the people comming here. The beach itself is relatively clean only at the front but if we walked a little bit dead animals in sand and plastics doesn't represent this place good. I liked the music and that's it. Ghana has better beaches.

Very busy and vibrant environment. I quite enjoyed the music and the food but did not like the hustling and people constantly trying to sell me things. Visited on a Sunday. Lots of bbq food items and drinks to choose from.

Beautiful area and fresh breeze but I was disappointed that who ever is running the place doesn't take much care of it in terms of cleaning and ensuring that it is well maintained, more so because there is an entry fee collected at the gate. Some parts did not feel safe because every vendor was trying to sell you something

Horrible experience. They charged us $30cedis entry fee, $2 cedis to use the restrooms. Beach was dirty with bottles and plastic. Don’t waste your $$

On the 20th of March 2022, I decided to unwind at Labadi Beach - and as always, it didn’t disappoint. As a Nigerian who has lived in Ghana for about four years, Labadi Beach quickly became my favorite spot to relax. What makes Labadi special for me isn’t just the waves and sand, but the entire ambiance: the music, the laughter, the energy. It’s a place where you meet people from all walks of life -locals, tourists, artists, and business folks - all blending seamlessly into the same vibrant atmosphere. I took some pictures that I’ll share, but honestly, pictures can’t fully capture the feeling of being there. Whether it’s the horseback rides, live drumming, or simply enjoying a drink by the shore, Labadi Beach is more than just a beach; it’s an experience. Highly recommended if you’re ever in Accra and looking for somewhere to truly feel alive.

There is an entrance fee (30GHS at the time of this posting), but the money are used wisely. Being there a few times in the last years I could see the bathrooms being improved, the parking lot pavement, the facilities … I’m happy to see that they put the money at good use. At the beach, there are plenty of beach restaurants/bars to choose from. Some are very nice while some are a bit dated/old. When you park, people will try to pull you and take you a specific bar. I would suggest to say no, and go for a small walk and see what bar you prefer. Observe how the chairs are, how many people, the umbrellas, the music, the atmosphere … all these things are important. Don’t just go with someone to the first place they take you. If you forgot your towel or beach ball, slippers or suncream, don’t worry, there are a few shops at the parking lot selling beach items. Of course, the prices are accordingly. I usually go there around 3PM until late afternoon, after sunset. If you go at midday it might be too warm, but it’s up to you. Sunsets are beautiful, don’t miss it. One thing that you might meet, are a lot of people coming to you trying to sell paintings or traditional items. Ignore them. If you speak too much with them, you will not be able to get rid of them until you buy something. Better to look somewhere else, say no and even if they will insist, just say no and look somewhere else. You might think this is rude, but you will have someone coming every 15-20 min; you better learn to say no in order to enjoy the place. At one moment they will stop coming since they see you don’t buy. Some bars have security which will tell them to go away. Labadi is a great place, good food, drinks, music, nice water and people enjoying themselves. Have fun and don’t expect Miami. It’s a great place, but some people say it requires fixes and improvements. Its true. It is not stylish or fancy, it’s for the people that are looking to relax and enjoy. Is not a 5star resort place, but it has soul.
