The location is off the main attraction in Matera. We came without a reservation but the staff showed us to a table right away. We ordered plate tasting antipasti which consisted of four small dishes local to the region. I like the ricotta with sweet celery. Then for main course we ordered lamb and veal. Présentation is good, taste is good and portion is big. There was a big group dining so the staffs were busy with them. My glass was empty since I finished the starter but was not offered another drink. Anyway, that's ok because it was compensated by the beautiful authentic architecture.
