8 Cool Shops in Paris

"This hidden gem is filled with artsy, upcycled creations like chairs, handbags, jewelry, rugs, lamps, and even musical instruments. Beer bottle caps, candy wrappers, plastic bags, soda can tabs, drink cartons, and glass wine bottles are just some of the materials used to create the unique works in the Paris boutique.  The pieces were all handcrafted in various countries across the globe and repurposed into intriguing items that are displayed throughout the store and available for purchase. It’s an eclectic blend of art, fashion, and sustainable creation. The artisans who make these unique goods pride themselves on finding ways to reduce waste by designing and constructing uncommon pieces out of things that most people would typically throw away. Most of the stuff within the store is high quality and one-of-a-kind, so it would be extremely rare to see anything similar at the local mall or shopping center. This tiny boutique could easily be missed, as it is tucked away on a quiet street. It’s definitely worth taking a detour to visit and is only a short walk from the Oberkampf metro station. While the store does have some items available to purchase online, it’s much more fascinating to visit in person and see all the upcycled goods up close." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

We stumbled upon this amazing shop and spend ages just in awe of all the wonderful items here. Over 60 artisans from all around the world upcycling waste products into magnificent items, curated by the loveliest person, Lionel. We had such a nice time here and you can get lovely fresh tea of coffee!

We found this shop on atlasobscure.com's list of interesting and less touristy places to visit in Paris. It's a tiny place, stuffed with amazing repurposed objects from around the world. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

My husband and I took the metro across the city specifically to visit this store and we were not disappointed. We spent a lot of time in here looking through all of the different art pieces, instruments, and accessories, with complimentary drinks. I bought a beautiful purse and elephant figurine partly because of the excellent service. Even after walking through different thrift stores after, we couldn’t find any store that offered as many unique pieces as this one. Merci Lionel!

This shop is absolutely incredible! The creativity of the art is fabulous and I love that the owner buys art outright from artists, supporting them from over 20 countries. Even if it is out of the way and a tiny shop, I highly recommend you stop by to check it out.

This was a place I really wanted to go to. After hopping on the Metro and walking many blocks we found it the owner is lovely. She was so sweet and offered us some cold water. It is such an awesome shop. I bought some earrings and some metal insects made from what look like decorated cans. It is a must see place full of wonder and creativity.

Once again. Once again I was stranded, lost in town, 5 minutes before a birthday party, no present, shameful. Crossed this marvelous shop, got eyes captured by a chair outside, got in, overwhelmed by the number of things to look at and imagine, found a beautiful bracelet and opted for it. Price was shockingly low, owner was incredibly helpful and kind. A MUST. Go there and enjoy.
