My tour on Sunday (1pm) was in English. I was surprised by google reviews saying that the tours are conducted in Czech only (not true!) The English tour guide Mark was great and humorous. Worth a visit if you’re curious about these tunnels. It’s family friendly.

We found the exit easier than the entrance, I don't know why. 😀 Put up a bigger sign. The walks are every hour with a guide in Czech only. There are options for an audio guide via an app for popular languages or they give you a list of information about each gallery. Congratulations on that! The Labyrinth under the Vegetable Market is Brno’s hidden subterranean gem, weaving nearly one kilometer of medieval and Baroque cellars some 6–8 m beneath the historic Zelný trh square. Descend the 212-step staircase into a mysterious maze of storage vaults, alchemists’ workshops, an old wine cellar and tavern, even replicas of a pillory and “fool’s cage” used centuries ago. Guided year‑round tours, available in English, bring fascinating stories to life, from food preservation and medieval brewing to wartime shelters and odd punishments. The labyrinth’s atmospheric lighting and authentic artifacts make it a memorable and slightly mysterious stop. Ideal for history lovers, curious explorers, or anyone off the beaten path, this underground journey connects you with Brno’s living medieval soul—and it’s love at first underground step!

Very nice complex of underground vine and beer cellars below the Brno Vegetable market. Text for the one hour tour is available in many languagues, however the tour guide said only few key points in English. Recommended!

The Tour guide spoke almost exclusively Czech and to be fair, why should expect it to be different? The tunnels have been recently 'cleaned up' for tourist so everything looks rather clean and new. Most of what you see in the tunnels is 'set dressing' rather than actual authentic artifacts. For all this it's a fascinating Tour and if you read along with the translated presentation 'script' you will learn a little about the history of Brno....... and it gets you out of the heat on a hot day.

What a lovely tour! Looking at the local/regional history from an unusual angle down below. The guide neither rush us through nor did he overwhelm us with too much information. But he was always opened to questions and proved himself knowledgeable about the place as well as the historical context. Definitely worth the money if you have an hour to spare.

An Unforgettable Journey Through Brno's Underground with Mark! Our guided tour of Brno's underground labyrinth was an absolute highlight of our trip, thanks to our exceptional guide Mark. His expertise transformed historical facts into captivating stories, striking the perfect balance between educational depth and entertainment. What truly set him apart was his witty humor – he had us laughing while explaining 13th-century crypts or medieval prison systems! His passion for Brno's heritage shone through as he shared lesser-known anecdotes about alchemists' workshops and secret tunnels. The tour felt tailored to our group's interests, with clear answers to every question. His dynamic storytelling made centuries-old spaces feel alive. If you want history to "breathe" rather than just recite dates – book this tour! A 5-star experience for both curious travelers and history buffs. Thank you for making our underground adventure so memorable!

We had tickets for a tour in Czech language as the English one was not available. However, the people working at the reception were very understanding and allowed us go with English guide Zdenka. Both the guide and the tour were amazing! Recommend visiting when you're in Brno.

Very interesting, but poor service The place is phenomenal. A walk of about 1km under the city's main square. There's tunnels and halls to explore, and most of them decorated nicely and mostly authentically. Our guide, however, didn't speak much English, and the written leaflets looked like they came straight out of MS Word, without any formatting or pictures, making it a very dull read. Plus, since it was very dark, you had to rely on your phone's flashlight to even see them properly.
