Lugano is an absolute gem, and this center is its artistic heartbeat. Don’t let the exterior fool you; the interior is unexpectedly vast, housing a stunning bookshop and galleries that are a must-see. It’s a true multidisciplinary hub where you can enjoy a concert, a great meal at the restaurant, or a browse through the charming shop. Just a heads-up for drivers: the city is beautiful and laid-back, but Swiss parking prices are as steep as the mountains!

It’s the most artsy centre in a very relaxed and beautiful city. Lugano is a gem. Just that parking in Switzerland is expected to be expensive.

A wonderful place of culture. The building has enormous space inside, it is far bigger than the outside reveals. Good restaurant and nice little shop. The building also serves as a concert hall.

This is a stunning venue with friendly staff and excellent sound.

This art center never disappoints. The natural lighting and high-ceiling spaciousnesses encourages an inner calm and bolsters the ability to reflect. It is the opposite of most places in an urban environment, so you are invited to slow down. The events and artists are absolutely top quality and the acoustics for musical performances is good. I will get a season pass for 2023 for sure. It’s just such a good place to spend time.

A small but thoughtful collection with well-curated special exhibitions. Also had yummy lunch at the Luini 6 Bistro before the museum tour. 👍👍

The exposition on Ernst Scheidegger resonated deeply with me and I greatly enjoyed it. (Streams of Spleen on the other hand, not so much). The staff was lovely, there is storage for coats and other personal items, and entry is free with the Swiss Pass.
