An incredible experience from start to finish. The evening began with a magical touch: the restaurant sent a boat to collect us, turning the journey itself into part of the adventure. Crossing the Bosphorus felt unforgettable, with jaw‑dropping views of the bridge, Istanbul’s skyline, and the lively activity on the water. Upon arrival, the atmosphere was matched by impeccable service. The staff demonstrated excellent knowledge and attentiveness, while the food presentation was superb — every dish crafted with care and bursting with quality. The wide selection of wines and cocktails added another layer of indulgence. This is not just dining; it’s an experience that lingers. I cannot wait to return and relive it all over again.

It’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed almost every platter put on the table. The food was great and the servers were wonderful. We ordered more than six starters and all tasted impeccable. Loved the calamari and aubergine. My favorite was the squash blossom stuffed. The main fish dish was so soft with the aubergine sauce. Then you can never go wrong with chocolate ice cream. If the food wasn’t convincing enough, the view is all you’d need to see in Istanbul. I’ve been to Istanbul multiple times and this has been one of my top favorites so far. Thank you for the experience!

If you have a chance to go the this restaurant you must go . By car from Asian side and if on European side they will pick you up by boat from Rumeli Hısarı. The views and service were spectacular. Really enjoyed the food especially the fish and mussels. The calamari was perfect and very lightly battered . Only thing I did not enjoy was the grilled octopus , not a fan of the soy sauce marinade. Strongly recommend.

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent, but the location on the Bosphorus is outstanding. Many people arrive by yacht, and the restaurant has a shuttle to and from the European side. We enjoyed it so much that we went twice during our 3 week visit to Istanbul. My wife enjoyed the fish a commented that it was very fresh. I'm not much of a fish eater, but I do love shrimp and calamari here. They do have a couple of meat options for me. I highly recommend this place

Last year it was closed due to renovations. I waited a whole year and got disappointed. The view was amazing but the food and service needs improvement. The starter was great but after that it turned south really fast. I wanted a recommendation which main course I should order. I got a overpriced „blue fish“ which wasn’t in the menu. My cocktail was poorly mixed, way to much alcohol but at least I got some tonic water, which I had to pay extra. I really want to go again just to try something which was on the menu but after my first experience I want to avoid it, maybe next year. My recommendation, don’t order anything which isn’t on the menu. I pay about 2600₺/90€ in total for bread, water, gin&tonic, a sea food starter and the not so special „blue fish“. EDIT: changed to 1 star after asking locals how much the blue fish usually costs in a restaurant. It should be around 500-700₺. I think i got scammed there. I cannot recommend the place after experiencing that.

Overpriced placed. They have fascinating view, incredible vibe. You are paying just for that. Valet is 50liras. When you are paying that much money for the food, you are expecting to have good service and extraordinary food. That never happened. At first, the waiters felt bothered when we asked them to change money for the valet parking (50liras at the moment), they started asking why and giving the attitude. Btw, when it is a fancy place, it should be included in the bill. The check was more then 1200liras and we still had to pay for the valet?! Normally, when the hostess is taking out the chair for you, they put it closer to you to sit. But on that day, she never done it and left. When we finished our food, paid the bill, we were still taking our staff to leave, but the waiters started to take the tablecloth right away, not waiting us to leave. That was annoying. Even though the place felt busy, they brought our order fast. It was decent, nothing special about it. Nice serve though. To book the first 2 lines of tables, you need to call them few weeks in advance - 1 month.

Delicious with an epic view. Highly recommended. Try the Marinated Sea Bass with Orange and Fenne. It melts in your mouth. The Atom is also very good but keep in mind, it's quite spicy. Everything we had was excellent and the service was excellent - they anticipated our needs without feeling like they were hovering. Great place to go on a sunset date with your loved one!

Yelp
My family and I had dinner at Lacivert Restaurant on the Asian side of Istanbul, right by the Bosphorus in Beykoz. From the moment we walked in, I was amazed by the view -- calm water, city lights, and a perfect evening breeze. We were seated at table #320, right by the water, and it couldn't have been a better spot. Our waiter was a true gentleman -- very polite, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. He checked on us just enough to make sure everything was perfect. Service felt smooth and professional all night. We started with bread and butter service. The butter had a light lemon-citrus flavor, which I loved -- it tasted fresh and unique. The olive oil was also high quality, perfect for dipping. For cold appetizers, we had the sea bass marinade, lakerda (pickled fish), sea bass carpaccio, shrimp with avocado and artichoke hearts, and stuffed grape leaves with sour cherries. Every dish had its own distinct flavor and presentation. The lakerda especially stood out -- I've had it before in other places, but this one was more delicate and flavorful. Then came the hot appetizers -- shrimp in garlic butter sauce was absolutely delicious. I used way too much bread to soak up every bit of that sauce. My sister ordered the grilled octopus, which looked tender and beautifully grilled. By this point, we were already full, but we couldn't skip the main course. We shared a whole 4-lb sea bass for the table -- cooked to perfection, juicy inside with crispy skin, served with roasted potatoes. For dessert, we couldn't decide so we ordered a few: chocolate mousse with raspberry ice cream, Mexican-style flan with orange flavor, and semolina with ice cream. All three were excellent, but the flan surprised me the most -- light, creamy, and not too sweet. We ended up staying late just talking and enjoying the view. The setting, the service, and the food all came together perfectly. Prices are on the higher side, but this is not your average dinner -- it's a full experience. If you're visiting Istanbul or celebrating something special, Lacivert is absolutely worth it. I can't wait to come back and bring more family with me next time.

Yelp
Great food, amazing view, pretty steep prices. Their fish always taste very good but at the beginning, they brought bread that were very dry and clearly not fresh. Then, we got grape leaves as appetizers which were alright. For fish, we got blue fish and sea bass that were both delicious. For dessert, we got kazandibi and that was very well done. Our waiter wasn't very attentive either.

Yelp
You will probably find a better view at any spot in Istanbul. The food is below average. Price is unjustifiably too expensive.

Yelp
I had some family friends in town and asked around for some nice venues to take them to eat. I wanted a great view, a pricey meal, a good experience, and for the food to be top notch. This is a lot to ask for, I get it, but let me tell you Lacivert delievered. Located on the Asian side of the Bosphorus, Lacivert has an eclectic and diverse menu. The staff was attentive but I will say the english was not very good. If you are coming from the european side you can take their boat from Rumeli, which is a great start to what was for us an outstanding meal. The views, located right under the second bridge, are to die for. It is certainly on the pricey side, but well worth it. Lacivert is an all around great experience!

Yelp
Great view of the Bosporus!!!! The fried calamari rings are delicious. I didn't care too much for the small fishes; however the other dishes were good. Definitely a welcomed meal after having meat everyday for 5 days straight. Great romantic place to take a date or impress some potential business partners or co-workers.

Yelp
No handicapped entrance - do not go if you can't handle 40+ stairs. We made reservations at Lacivert for dinner with the whole family and I called ahead to make sure they had a handicapped entrance. I was told on the phone that they had a back entrance with a ramp that we could use. Surprise! They don't. They have 40+ very hard to navigate stairs. Instead we went right next door to Uskumru. Uskumru had an elevator as well as a stair-chair for those who couldn't handle stairs. I'm so glad we went there - the food was delicious, the view the same and the service excellent. I am so disappointed in Lacivert for not offering a handicapped entrance and lying to us on the phone.

Yelp
One of the best places to feel the Bosporus, great service, excellent wine list & single malts, priced reasonable coming with similar landmark venues across the globe. Istanbul is an amazing city, Lacivert definitely part of it.
