Honestly when we arrived I wanted to leave as the place is looking very tired. (We come to Bali 3 times a year so understand differnt levels of accommodation) However after giving it a fair go it really grew on us. (7 night stay) The staff could not do enough and were all super lovely. The turn down service with mosquito coil lighting and night lights on was a lovely touch, as was breakfast delivered to our room each morning. Our private pool was too cold to swim in (has been unseasonably cold in Ubud apparently) but the large communal pool was warm and no one else used it while we were here. Perfect position for exploring all of Ubud yet walking back into your villa is so peaceful. Absolutely could do with a really good freshen up but position and staff make up for its shortfalls.

Loved our stay at Ladera Villa. Quiet yet very close to centre of Ubud’s restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions. Pool was delightful and gardens beautiful, Villa comfortable and clean. Daily breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. We had a private pool which was well maintained and very serene. The staff were friendly and the room was cleaned daily and they came in to light mosquito coils each night- we didn’t know this in advance so were a little surprised the first time but no issues with it. Great location, very close to the Main Street but not super busy, lots of great food and drink places around. We didn’t eat breakfast at the Villa as the reviews of the food didn’t seem great, and we wanted to try different places each day. But we would definitely stay here again!

We had a stay at Ladera Villa for 3 days and I repent this decision of staying at this place. I was counting my days to finish so that I can move from this Villa. 1. The villa has lots of frogs, lizards( lizards will be there in your cupboard , on your bed , in your bathroom ) you name a place and you will find the lizard. The experience was horrible. I was there to enjoy my anniversary but this has made my days really difficult to stay. 2. When we complain about this there is no one to listen to us . The rude receptionist told us we cant do anything in this. For every request her reply was “No”, “No” and “No”. 3. They will give you 2 water bottles per day only even if you are dying they wont provide you with water. 4. They do no serve dinners only limited breakfast option which doesnt include milk even. There is corn starch milk in which tea bags cannot be dissolve. 5. If you face any issues at night , there is no one to help you as security guard is slepping and no receptionist is present at their desk in night time. This place is totally horrible.

The pros : - A really beautiful experience within nature, - A nicely secluded villa, with a cute private pool (If you pick that room, that is) - Really windy, peaceful with beautiful sounds and sights - Centrally located - Responsive, quick and helpful housekeeping The cons : - A really intimate experience with nature; you'll find various poops from lizards, frogs, birds, snails, scattered all over the villa, even on top of your plates - The private pool isn't very clean, and neither is the villa; it gets dirtied really easily by rains and surrounding fauna, plus the maintenance is poor and the housekeepers can't clean up the villa really well (I mean, it's the best they can do when you're at the mercy of nature) - Aforementioned sounds of nature includes lizards, frogs, crickets and newts, which are present everywhere (even within your room) - Worms. If you shower too long, worms (millipedes, centipedes, earthworms) will crawl out from between the tiles and climb onto your feet.

Stayed here July 2024. Nice quiet retreat from the bustle of Ubud. Very private space. Own pool , Comfy bed, mosquito net and nice outside sitting area. Breakfast was good and generous. The staff are friendly and helpful. Easy stroll to many restaurants and shops. Definitely will stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Ladera. We stayed 8 night in the heart of Ubud, but the villa was quiet and very private. Having stores and restaurants 2-3 min walk from the accommodation was perfect. The staff are very nice and always helpful if we needed anything. If we were away in the evening, they would light up mosquito repellent for us, so we had no unpleasant visitors in our visit there. The private pool is a blessing after exploring Bali all day, as it was very clean and refreshing. We will definitely come back to Bali, and we will choose the same place as it was absolutely perfect for us. Thank you for our perfect stay!

The hotel's location and environment are excellent, situated in the center of Ubud with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. There is also a private pool and a small kitchen. It's very spacious, and the semi-open bathroom provides a unique experience. They've thoughtfully placed mosquito repellent, so there aren't many bugs. The overall experience is good!
