we spent three nights at the Zemda. the rooms were fine, the ambience of the hotel is typical for a good beach side hotel, the staff are all very friendly, courteous, and helpful. even the kitchen staff, but the food from the kitchen just isn't up to par. this isn't too much of a problem, as there are numerous good restaurants in Gumusluk.||||there is a very nice swimming pool (not for laps, but for kids and general messing around, floating, etc.).||||the hotel is at the southern edge of the Gumusluk beach, and there seems to be more wind at this end compared with the more protected northern (or even middle) ends. but, still, people were having fun jumping in the water from the rubber, floating dock.||||if we came back to Gumusluk with the grandkids in tow, this might be where we ended up. (though now, having been in Gumusluk, we might rent a small apartment by the beach.)
