The service here could be more informative and welcoming. When purchasing a high quality product like macarons (especially at a premium price) you don’t want to feel as if you’re buying an ordinary, run-of-the-day item. Luxury food brands and bakeries often balance the higher cost with cheerful, engaging staff who elevate the experience, and that expectation wasn’t met here. Additionally, during operating hours, the employee was seated and using their phone. While everyone deserves a break, returning to work should be done with professionalism, not with the demeanor of a disinterested store clerk. This diminishes the brand image, and the quality the product represents. On the positive side, the store itself is very clean and well organized, which makes the disconnect in service stand out even more. Overall, it feels like a crossroads here. You either embrace the prestige of a well-known brand, and deliver a fitting customer experience, or customers may look elsewhere for a more refined establishment.

I went because my friend had just gone to the one in Paris and raved. I’m visiting from Atlanta and was excited to see these macarons. Got a box of 6 and a pistachio shortbread cookie with white chocolate. The passion fruit with yuzu is so good vans my favorite of the 3 I tried. The pistachio is alright. The strawberry was good. Very good macarons, not sure they’re as good as my favorite place in Atlanta though. The lady working could have been a little friendlier.

I ordered 2 cakes for my daughter’s first communion. When I came to pick them up one was broken, the other one which was supposed to be for 8 people was so tiny it is ridiculous. I asked to find a solution for the broken cake and a confirmation of how big the 8 people cake was supposed to be and the staff was totally incompetent. They said it wasn’t their responsibility and couldn’t do anything. I asked to speak to a manager who refused to talk to me over the phone. They had forced me to pay just advance when I ordered over the phone so I feel like I lost $133. I left 1 hour later with a ridiculously small cake, a broken one and a crying daughter. This meant a lot to us as a French family but clearly Laduree in the US is a scam.

There are certain employees than can tend to be rude. They never have good flavors they’re always sold out when I go. I would suggest to go earlier or on a weekday. I love the matcha and passion fruit macaroon flavors

First time I had La Durée macarons was in Paris and was so excited to discover that they had locations in the states. They were fresh and delicious just like I remembered.

The macaroons are really good but the prices for things like coffee are a bit much. Six dollars for a latte is above the average in LA. It's a cute little spot in the Americana though. We'll stop by again for macaroons though.

These are a guilty pleasure that I’ve just discovered and I am glad I came to splurge on some macarons, these are good and worth the price, good selection of flavors and the outdoor seating has a Parisian feel to it with the topiary, trees, tables and chairs.

I asked for two of the vanilla macarons and some other flavors. I got home and realized the lady gave me ONLY ONE white macaron. I was already disappointed because I’m only seeing one white macaron, then I tasted it and noticed it was an orange blossom flavor instead. Didn’t notice until I tasted it because they both are white in color but now that I think about it, I didn’t see any vanilla beans on the one I got so they must have not picked correctly!! Disappointed because I like their macarons usually :(
