Macaron Royalty Lady Yum Opens New Store in Pioneer Square - Eater Seattle

"Confectionery Lady Yum brings its brand of 'macarons and mischief' to Pioneer Square with the opening of its newest shop. The whimsical storefront serves plenty of confections and champagne. Owner Megan Wagstaff noted that with a bigger space, they are branching out into new territory after four years in the business of making meringue-based confections. The space offers plenty of seating on the first and second floor for sampling this month’s macaron flavors: bananas foster and Love Potion (chocolate passion fruit). The multi-hued interiors match the colorful creations of Wagstaff." - Erin Perkins

This is an absolute delight for anyone with a sweet tooth. Each macaron delivers the perfect balance of crisp shell and chewy, flavorful filling in both classic and inventive flavors like Raspberry Chardonnay, honey lavender, and seasonal specials. The shop's charming. Whether you grab a quick treat or relax in-store, Lady Yum turns an ordinary moment into a delicious and memorable experience.

Google
06/01/25 @ 1:30pm. You will not find a better deal than a $5 glass of champagne and a macaron anywhere else. This place is a hidden gem because no one knows about it. The atmosphere was beautiful, spacious and clean. And the gal at the counter greeted us, informed us about flavors and served us with a positive attitude. Brilliant service. Whoever is reading this, go there. They are most definitely getting charged too much to have this beautiful store here. Keep them in business. And enjoy your bubbly before the games or just enjoy a glass with a macron during a lazy afternoon.

Lady Yum is pure magic! The moment you walk in, you're greeted with whimsical decor, friendly staff, and the sweet scent of freshly made macarons. Each one is a little piece of heaven — crisp, chewy, and filled with the most dreamy flavors like honey lavender, raspberry chardonnay, and vanilla bean. But here’s the cherry on top: you can get a macaron and a glass of bubbly for just $5! It’s the perfect little luxury that doesn’t break the bank. Whether you’re celebrating something or just need a pick-me-up, it’s a treat that feels special every time. Lady Yum is my go-to for gifts, self-care stops, and showing off a hidden gem to friends. Highly recommend!

Google
Despite rarely seeking macarons, I always seem to make my way back here while waiting to meet company or catch the next ferry. At all hours, it continues to be an oasis, open later than most other shops and has the benefit of serving a small coffee menu. If you need a place to decompress, talk with your friends, or just to feel good, come here.

Amazing atmosphere, great ambiance with eclectic furniture and yummy passion fruit macaroon! Very welcoming and wife had the Hojicha also!

Google
Absolute gem of a place. I have been to Lady Yum with an even better ambience especially in Bellevue areas. But this one is pretty cute too. Amazing ambience, really tasty macroon - it really sits well with my friend who prefers gluten-free food. Most of their macroon are gluten-free. However what really stands out is that you really get affordable wine and champagne 🥂 here. Overall a top notch place in this side of the town for casual snacks.

It’s such a fun place to spend some time after shopping. All my girls love this place.

Google
Is there another macaroon place? For cookie lovers and coffee drinkers alike, this Seattle unique space provides multiple degrees of Cute ness for the pioneer square shopper. Excellent for enjoying your dessert with stellar views and comfortable seating as well. The employees are warm without being overly social, and the ambiance matches the feelings the deliciousness of the cookies provide.

Yelp
I can't get enough of this location, it's so whimsical, bright and cute. With all the neat trickets, fabrics and wall decor, I'm pleasantly surprised that they remain open with all the loitering and transients nearby. I really like their $5 sparkles with 1 macaron, it's perfect. Great flavors and seasonal specialties.

Yelp
Nestled in the historic downtown district of Seattle is this lovely little macaron store! They offer a special where you can get a glass of champagne or rosé and a macaron for $5! The eclectic decor adds to the experience as sit down to enjoy some of the tasty macarons! They offer traditional options such as red velvet and vanilla. During the holidays, they have special flavors like snickers and reese's peanut butter cup. Drop by if you're in the area and wanna nice snack and a glass of champagne!

Yelp
Very cute store offering a bunch of flavors. Highly recommend the passion fruit, salted caramel and fruity pebble. We got a box of 10 for $30 and loved it.

Yelp
I really love this location for a girls' day or night out. The decorations and the great options for wine are fabulous. I love all the interesting interior designs, and there are lots of cute and cozy sofa seats available while I enjoy the tasty macarons and great wine. The staff is so nice and welcoming. It's only a 5-minute walk from Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park, which is convenient before or after the game. They always offer lots of varieties of flavors for macarons, and I love the seasonal options, so there's always something new to try. And I have been enjoying their fantastic special deal recently, $5 for one glass of bubbly and one macaron. This really makes for a nice, relaxed, and happy afternoon dessert time for myself! I will definitely go back for more delicious macarons.

Yelp
A super cute, vibrant little place! I stopped in for a coffee while waiting to head to the ferry and was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this cafe. Unfortunately, none of the treats are vegan so I didn't eat anything but the coffee was delicious (they do have oat milk) and I took a peek at the drink menu... $3 glasses of bubbly?! And bottles of wine under $20! I'll definitely be telling my friends. They also have fun chairs and decor -- very glam, lots of faux fur, animal print, palm trees, and jewel tones. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Pioneer Square.

Yelp
I love the concept of Lady Yum but my biggest sadness was that I just didn't care for their macarons. We recently had some fantastic macarons at a Seattle craft fair (Alexandras) but beyond a couple standouts (seasonal Pear and Mint) the Lady Yum treats all tasted fairly generic. That being said, we loved the amount of comfortable seating and the themed opulence the space shoots for and we absolutely adored our drinks (hot tea and sparkling wine). I especially enjoyed the honey's which tasted a bit like watered down prosecco - with the sugary bites, it really hit the spot. Overall, the service was friendly and helpful, and I would definitely drop in again, I just wish their macarons had a little more magic to them.

Yelp
Yet again a successful indie business I forgot to post from visits back in 2/17/19, and 8/7/19! I still have my punchcard for gift boxes. Lady Yum has grown to five businesses in Seattle (Pioneer Square, SLU/Denny Triangle), the Eastside (Bellevue, Kirkland) and SeaTac International Airport. I revisited Lady Yum in Pioneer Square on a spontaneous whim after a stop at Pike Place Market (3/4/23). Lucked out with street parking diagonal from their entrance, so it was meant to be! Immediately enticed with the vast selection of macarons upon entering. I noticed there were no entremets or special petite cakes, just macarons. Consistently welcoming and helpful service. Enjoyable interior both on the main floor and upstairs mezzanine. Fairly priced for these labor intensive, technique specific tasty treats. I shudder recalling vast quantities produced in pastry school, I digress. So you can imagine how much I appreciate seeing them at a bakeshop. This visit I selected one each of the strawberry passionfruit, espresso chocolate, and salted caramel. I passed on being fancy with bubbles, and stuck with water to note the distinct flavors. Definitely savored each as it is infrequent I indulge in macarons. Delicious! Also, my Yelp PSA. Pronounced as MACK-a-Ron, not Mack-a-ROON. Two entirely different items and definitely not interchangeable. Thanks for noting this. Yes, go treat yourself or others with quality macarons from Lady Yum!

Yelp
Good vibe place, however they only have macarons, we went there because we saw many photos that has the beautiful cake which no longer available as a product for the store. The macarons are ok, not what I will specially go there for.

Yelp
Great cookies and champagne for after dinner so yummmmmy!! So many interesting flavors we did rhubarb and chocolate !!!

Yelp
This is an adorable coffee stop located in Pioneer Square. It has lovely window decor and an even sweeter indoor decor with pinks and chandeliers and champagne. I walked in to see macarons featured in the display case- and lots of creative flavors. They also had a few other sweet treats- like pride brownies. Will have to try next time. I ordered the lavender macaron and it was lovely with my vanilla latte. I do wish they had a few more coffee flavorings- they cover the basics but with their creative macaron flavors I thought they would have some more more flavorings to add to coffee or matcha. Overall a good stop this morning.

Yelp
Lady Yum's Macarons & Mischief was only one of two places we went to twice on our week-long trip to Seattle. The champagne was inexpensive but nice, the macarons were divine, and the atmosphere was adorable -- boho glam, perhaps -- with lots of sit-down spaces both upstairs and downstairs. I loved that they had an espresso bar, too, though I didn't have anything from there. I highly recommend a visit!

Yelp
I am so happy I had the opportunity to stop in at Lady Yum. I came with a large group in the middle of the day and was lucky enough to find Lady Yum empty, especially because my group needed loads of assistance. Not only is this place adorable with its pink walls and feather decor, but it has an extremely eye catching display of sweet treats & macaroons. I got a vanilla latte and wow was it tasty, it was the perfect amount of bitter and sweet. I loved all the different types of macaroons there were to choose from and I ended up choosing the Circus Animal Cookie flavor. HELLO, I loved this macaroon. Can I order these to my home? The service was great, many people in my group took their time deciding and the employee was helpful in answering questions, being attentive and getting our coffee to us in a timely manner.

Yelp
We stumbled on this shop bought a gift pack of macarons and bubbly. We ate them once we arrived back to our town and man, I wish I bought more! The shop was cute inside and had an upper lounge. They also serve coffee and lattes.
google avatar

Michael W.

Yelp
The macaroons are the most delicious I have ever slowly disembodied from their perfectly created form. The shop is more a boutique in appointment. Camille is welcoming, informative and likely the brains behind the operation. Turn east on Yesler at 1st to arrive at the Washington street address.
google avatar

Yelp
No lie or exaggeration: Lady Yum has the best macarons I have ever tasted. And this is coming from a person who always buys at least a few macarons from every shop she's ever come across. The shells of the macaron are light yet tender and flakey with just the right amount of chew. Each macaron tasted exactly as described without being too overpowering (except for the lemon - that one powed us in the face but in a good way that only lemon flavors can). Each macaron tasted fresh and expertly made; probably why they were successful enough to open in multiple locations. I'd say these are good enough to gift to even your pickiest hipsteriest friends. The price is great, macarons are delectable, packaging is cute, and your friend can enjoy them and not have to worry about displaying yet another knickknack in their home. Win-win all around!

Yelp
We got 2 macarons and they were both soooo delicious the filling had this amazing texture and they were so sweet. The person who served us was very kind, and the restaurant was just gorgeous!! I mean seriously so cool

Yelp
I'm so happy that we randomly went to this place right before they closed. My friends and I were looking for a place for dessert after our sushi dinner and we stumbled across this hop. We profusely apologized for coming right before he was about to close and we promised that we would hurry up and get out of his way, but he insisted on us taking our time. I ordered a glass of champagne and when he opened the fridge, he noticed that I would be getting the last bit of the bottle, so he got another glass for my cousin-in-law and filled up both of our glasses. He gave us a wink and said that we're getting the last of the bottle anyways and that he'll just give us the second glass on the house... Which was incredibly sweet. He told us to take our time and peruse around and that we did! It's SUCH a cute shop and definitely gives me a cute little french cafe kind of vibes. I ordered a few macarons and he also explained that he usually has a deal on a glass of house bubble and macarons, so he'll give me that deal as well. I was so stunned that he was incredibly sweet to us! My cousin-in-law also picked out a few macarons and since the macarons that my cousin-in-law picked out were tinier than the rest of the macarons, the guy gave him a few more on the house to make up for the small size. All in all, I would absolutely come back. The macarons were not only delicious but they were so incredibly soft and chewy. My favorite one was the caramel - the caramel tasted DIVINE and the macarons were so, so well baked. 1000% would come back here again and thank you for such amazing, exemplary customer service. We appreciate you so much and now that we're back in LA, we still talk about your macarons!

Yelp
We wanted a place to hang out and have dessert after dinner and found this place on Yelp! I mean, as I walked in, I couldn't believe how cute this place was in person! Ordered the 10 piece macroon set and teas. We headed up stairs and saw even more cute seating! Literally finished macroons in like 10 minutes. They were excellent! My favorites include pistachio, chocolate, salted caramel, and espresso fudge. I was suprised the shop wasn't busier. Truly loved hanging out here and enjoying sweets after dinner!
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Cute place, great deal on the champagne and macaron for $5. Probably the cutest place in pioneer square.
google avatar

Yelp
Really good macarons and variety. Chill atmosphere. The staff is friendly and it is decorated in a cutesy theme. Took parents here for dessert and wasn't bad at all

Yelp
So, how YUM is lady yum?! Let me start off by saying that everything is literally made of all glass, from top to bottom! SO PRETTY! Pretty decors, pretty macaroons, pretty sphere, pretty vibes! It was my first time in Seattle so I wanted to make sure to get my sweet tooth fix in the area and I'm so happy that I stopped by at this cute little gem of a spot. There were a lot to choose from but the ones that stood out the most to me that I just had to try were the coconut, circus animal, coco and shindig fruity pebble's. All was so divine and a treat in my mouth! I would say that the shindig fruity pebbles was my fave ;) The service was amazing, pretty young lady was working the front. I'm glad I made the trip to Seattle and even more glad to have the honors of trying one of the best macaroons spot in the city!
google avatar

Janna P.

Yelp
Cute and curiously curated atmosphere with friendly workers. Very fun to explore and look at. Did not try the specialty (macarons) but my mushroom quiche was cold and had an unpleasant texture although the flavor was tasty. Still glad I stopped in to relax in the lovely sitting area upstairs. Don't let my less-than-enjoyable quiche experience deter you from trying out this precious little shop

Christy H.

Yelp
What an absolute gem! Love the whimsical-meets-homey aesthetics. The oatmeal, lemon, mint and animal cracker macarons were so packed with flavor and the perfect amount of sweetness. I already can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Love their macarons - Want them delivered- very timely and still delicious- Recommend buying for every occasion!

Yelp
I am so happy to have decided to stop in here. We were about to head back to our car when we decided to go grab some dessert after realizing we still had more then half an hour left on our meter. We walked over to Lady Yum after seeing it on Yelp. The place is two floors, with plenty of instagrammable decorations. It was beautiful in there. We were immediately greeted very warmly. They were joking with us, laughing with us, I asked some questions about their beautiful little cakes and they did a great job of explaining everything. I loved that they had detailed descriptions of the flavors of the mini little cakes as well. We ended up getting a pear fragipane, butterbeer, and a wild strawberry macaron. One of the employees gave us a free salted caramel macaron as well. It was the sweetest gesture. We also decided to get one of the mini raspberry cakes. We also got an espresso to go for my husband. We dove into the treats at home. The macarons were amazing. The salted caramel was actually one of our favorites. The caramel flavor came out perfectly. I loved loved love the wild strawberry as well. The butterbeer wasn't what I imagined butterbeer to taste like (a little more citurs flavor), but we still enjoyed it. And I love pear, so obviously I had no problem eating that one. The texture of the macarons were on point as well. The raspberry cake was seriously too pretty to eat. I loved the layers inside, I believe there was a raspberry middle with some sort of marzipan layer as well. I honestly really enjoyed it. Amazing service and amazing macarons. Parking around here is a challenge, but if I was around the area, I would def. stop in here again!

Yelp
Lady Yum is a great macaron place that I got to try while traveling in Seattle. I was oringinally in the area to try Tat's Deli and wanted something sweet. Luckily, Lady Yum was right around the corner. I've only tried the macarons but they are delicious. I got 10 for $20 so $2 a macaron which is cheaper than most macaron places I've been to. They have many other sweets but I didn't get to try them. Definitely stop by Lady Yum if you want some delicious macarons!
google avatar

Christy P.

Yelp
I've only had positive experiences at lady yum. I've been to their Kirkland and airport locations, this is definitely the prettiest and most spacious like you can actually hang out with a friend here. I love their glam vibe. I tried an oatmeal macaron, perfect for the morning paired with an oat milk latte.
google avatar

Joneice B.

Yelp
This place is so cute. I headed over from "box" bar next door. I was kicking it on the patio after Seahawks game (Who Dat). I love how girlie and cute this place is. Lots of dessert items to choose from. Champagne to sip on and plenty of nice workers to talk about Macarons flavors. I recently started making Macarons so when I saw this place on Yelp had to try it out. I was very impressed with decor, flavors and knowledgeablity of staff. I loved the Oatmeal Macarons. So delicious...also enjoyed the P & J macaron. I would love to do a small event here. It would be a hit with my girls.

Iliya B.

Yelp
Best coffee I've had in a long time. Macaroons to die for. Randomly stumbled to this place and was amazed with how delicious everything was. Also a great ambiance and super friendly stuff. Also a great selection of music playing at the store. Would love to come back again .

Anna L.

Yelp
The $5 Bubbles & Macron is an incredible deal. I really loved my ube macaron with the glass of champagne in their beautiful store. With so many flavors at such a great price, anyone should stop in to try!
google avatar

Shriya S.

Yelp
The cutest patisserie in all of Seattle! As you walk in, you're met with slightly eclectic but cute and classy decor, which include both a chandelier and disco ball! The vibe is super unique and somewhere I would definitely dream up for a sweet stop. The girls behind the counter were super nice and helped choose the macarons to try. There were so many to choose from; definitely more selection of flavors than any other macaron shop I've been to! They are really creative! I eventually went with Unicorn, but they all looked super good. As for the taste...it tasted amazinggg! Not too artificial and was soft, chewy, and fresh. They've got additional cute seating on the first floor and as you walk up the stairs. I would for sure take friends here, as they also offer drinks with your sweets which is a really nice offering with. They're not just a macaron place, as they also sell beautifully decorated mini-cakes among other sweets. Definitely a must-try if you're in Pioneer Square.
google avatar

Bhavesh G.

Yelp
Macrons are $2.5 each and they have a lot of flavors. The staff over there is really nice and friendly. It's definitely one of the best macron shops I've been to in my life. Highly recommended

Yelp
Macarons, rosé and desserts, oh my! My girlfriends and I had the opportunity to visit Lady Yum's newest shop in Pioneer Square and absolutely loved the experience. The shop screams "glamorous" with its fun and bright decor and plush seating. We shared ten macarons for $20 and had a fun time choosing from the many, many options. My favs from the night were: toffee, toasted coconut and oatmeal cookie. The staff was even sweet enough to throw in a few extras for our group to sample! :) I was also pleasantly surprised to see other items in their display case, like a few salads and sandwiches for a savory option along with a few beautifully crafted desserts. We didn't get a chance to try the desserts this time around, but we'll definitely be back. I loved all the other Lady Yum shops, but Pioneer Square definitely takes the cake with all its seating, making it the perfect spot to meet-up with friends.

Yelp
I had been anxiously waiting for this location to open and wasn't disappointed. The space is wonderful fun and elegant you'll want to take a pic at every turn. Went a day before the actual first day and then the day after opening day to bring another friend. Make sure to ho towards the back and go upstairs. There a cute spaces to sit down and visit from just a couple of seats to a group. The spot sells entremets in addition to their macarons and promises of more to come. There's an espresso machine and they carrie salads and sandwiches to grab for lunch sorry can't remember they wee by The first day I picked up a few of their macarons my fav their salted caramel with real caramel sandwiched in between the two crisp cookies and their seasonal love potion which is a passionfruit dark chocolate and a banana foster. The entremets are $10 beautiful to look at and so delicious. I picked up one of the Summer Sunshines the first day to share with some friends it was soooo good pie crust shell with blackberry basil gelee , lemon cremeaux, lemon blondie and homey meringue. Second day picked up the peanut butter brownie. Looking forward to doing one of their HH soon after work so I can actually sit stay and enjoy instead of rushing back to work. The staff is so friendly you can tell they all enjoy working there.

Yelp
I ridiculously miss this place - stepping foot into the storefront gives you an experience like a kid in a candy store. If you have a soft spot for macarons, you can't go wrong with lady yum. I don't know what magic they use in concocting their fruity pebble flavor one as my home recreation did not come close. Looks like they're going to reopen in the summer and I can't wait until they do to get another beautiful box like this !
google avatar

Phyllis M.

Yelp
My recent obsession with macarons has only been growing and Lady Yum macarons hit the spot! I've never been to the actual storefront, but on a recent trip home my sister brought me an assortment and they were awesome. With classic flavors like chocolate mint, honey lavender, s'mores and strawberry, you cannot go wrong. Plus they have fun flavors like shindig, toffee and unicorn! They'll also have monthly and seasonal flavors (spring flavors included robin's egg and grapefruit hibiscus) that are unique, colorful and lip-smackingly good! My fave of the assortment was the shindig - it tasted like a fruit loops macaron they're a little pricey as all good macarons are, but totally worth it. Bonuses: you can order them and have them delivered, plus it's a lady boss owned business!
google avatar

Andrea C.

Yelp
The aesthetics to this place is gorgeous!! So instagram worthy! The staff was also very informative and friendly. As I walked in, I was greeted immediately and was introduced each and one of the macarons they had (and there was a lot). I snagged up a couple seasonal flavored macarons and they were so delicious! Each macaron was $2.25 so priced pretty affordable. I also tried the mermaid entremet and that cake was so surprisingly soft and moist!! So good and pretty. TIP: go on a Tuesday for their $15 bottomless champagnes!
google avatar

Yelp
Terrific assortment of delicious macarons. Delightful space and always wa and welcoming staff. A local favorite
google avatar

Emiko T.

Yelp
This shop is in Pioneer square, it was a little hidden but absolutely worth finding. We tried some macarons and they were magnificent, so great, that I decided to go back the next day. I purchased a box to take home. The shop is super cute and offers alcoholic beverages like wine and champagne we didn't try any. The review is solely on the macarons and the ambience.
google avatar

Laiha C.

Yelp
As good as all the other locations but this one is by far the largest and cutest! I would love here if I could. The macarons are obviously wonderful, but the entremet make it next level. Staff were awesome and we broke out into song for a minute there. I loved it for just hanging out up in the loft area. I plan on coming back with my group and treating ourselves.

Lucy N.

Yelp
We stumbled in with our kids before our underground tour. Super cute spot. Amazing customer service. Delicious macarons. If you're in the area, highly recommend.
google avatar

Reba H.

Yelp
Just like all the other locations this store really gets it right. It's bright and artistic with many places to hang out and enjoy your lovely desserts. Unlike the airport location this location has the most delicious French mousse cakes. You can easily spend an hour to two hours here. I just learned about the Tuesday happy hour and can't wait to come in and indulge. The staff is super Duper sweet and helpful. The champagne is always bubbly and the cookies are always delicious. You got a love Lady Yum!
google avatar

Amy N.

Yelp
I felt like I absolutely died and went to heaven when I stumbled upon this Lady Yum location. The decorations in this place is amazing and has the cutest aesthetic! They have chandeliers AND A DISCO BALL. The ambiance is just ughhhh love it! The staff here is super friendly, there is 2 floors of seating. All of the seating is super cute and unique with a lot of unique French chic glam to it. They have a wide variety of macaron flavors and great coffee. Will definitely be coming back very soon! Btw on Tuesdays they have bottomless mimosas!

Brooke G.

Yelp
Hands down the best macarons I've had. It is a routine stop every time I travel. I highly recommend! The toffee is my favorite flavor and they are all beautifully decorated.
google avatar

Gabby E.

Yelp
Very yummy macrons! Such good quality and the shop is decorated so cute! The decorations were ready for many picture perfect moments with cute wallpaper and fancy chairs. The macrons are place out in front for you to pick and see each flavor and it was very aesthetically pleasing to see. The quality of the macron was very good and I wanted more after I finished all of mine. Definitely a place to stop by
google avatar

Kay N.

Yelp
This place is so cute! I came here with a couple of girlfriends. We got some glasses of champagne and rose' and bought two pieces of their small cakes; the dark swan and the mermaid. We liked both but dark swan ended up being the winner. We liked how it wasn't too sweet and had a crunchy chocolate bottom. It went well with the rich and smooth chocolate mousse. The atmosphere had a very girly and eclectic vibe. They also have a upstairs with a big couch and additional tables. This place is great to catch up with girlfriends and eat sweets.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
This was too pretty to eat! I wanted to keep it forever, but after the first bite, I devoured it within 2 minutes LOL This is called the Dark Swan. Plus, it's a super cute place, perfect for pictures Love the staff there. Super friendly! Great experience.

Yelp
I love lady yum and when I heard it open a new location with new treats, I knew I had to check it out. I went here last night to grab some treats for my little sister and is happy that the macarons are similar to all of their other locations: super yummy :) The place is really nice and probably the biggest location out of all their other ones. Definitely like that they are broaden their menu. Only thing was the location is a little hidden and not on the main area...I

Yelp
Very fun and hip place. Love the decor. This would be a great bday venue for a pre-teen. There are so many beautiful and unique desserts we want to try them all. Instead we settled for a few macaroons. They were good, but not the best. Check this place out!
