Laekjarkot Rooms And Cottages

Stay was nice overall. Good location, quiet. Our "room with a view" looked out onto...farm equipment. Still. The bed was comfortable. Hosts ask that you not leave the windows open to keep the bugs out and not adjust the temperature controls. However, it was so bloody hot that we had to open the windows. No bugs came in, I promise. The view on the other side of our room was quite gorgeous, so no big deal that we didn't have it. Easy self check in.

IT WAS DISGUSTING‼️ the doors are really hard to lock. The beds in some rooms are kind of broken and the wall is cracked. At night it sounds like water is leaking in the wall and it probably is…. BEDS HAVE BED BUGS‼️ there is mold everywhere THE SHOWER ESPECIALLY!! the bathrooms were terrifying, they were moldy, full of bugs, and had little to no hot water. The pictures u see in other reviews are only pictures of the good cottages which is cottage number 55 and the other big ones. cottages number, 52, 53 are GROSSS‼️ please don’t stay here!!! the only reason the location rating is high is because the place has a really nice view of the mountains, the sunset to watch there is gorgeous, and the lavender fields are gorgeous. the horses are cute too. IF U CAN PLEASE FIND SOMEWHERE BETTER!

We have to put one star. How such a dirty mobile home could have 2 star hotel? I don’t know. There is nobody, no service, no connivence, no dryer, no coffee or tea, dirt and bugs everywhere, no wifi, and only automated messages from the so called professional. It is false advertising, a cottage is not the same as a plastic mobile home with tailbone smelling couch full of stains. Of course no possibility to escape, as you can’t cancel a payed reservation

Cottage Nr. 53 was very dirty, everywhere was mold and dead flies. The worst part was that we got multiple bed bugs bites from staying one night. Do not recommend!

The door cannot be locked so I have to take the luggage back to the car with me for dinner. The rain shower drips cold water on me while I'm using the other show head for warm water. I don't even know that it's possible. Went to the reception to ask for an assistant and nobody was there. Call the number on the site and nobody picked up. Email to ask, and get an answer that doesn't help at all 3 hours later.

The Cottage 63 was clean, room for 4, big for 2 of us, and warm. Plan your hot water use and showers because it has a hot water storage tank, which if it becomes empty will need time to heat up. We cooked two simple meals in an ample kitchen. You need a car to stay here and we would thoroughly recommend.

the front doors cant be locked and there is barely any hot water. bugs everywhere and bad wifi. holes in the wall and beds r broken and have bed bugs. showers have lots of mold and flys everywhere do.not.stay.here.

The cabin like Cottage is of good size with a double room and a twin room. The Rooms are small but the Lounge area is pretty comfortable and bright. Very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. We arrived after 7pm. The Reception was unattended but with our Cottage information displayed. We checked in ourselves without much problem. The whole Cottage was already warm with heaters on. However, the beds are quite worn, particularly the double bed. The WiFi did not work well for most of the time. It is located five minutes from the Town Centre where grocery stores open until 1900 or 2000. I found this quite convenient.
