LaFavia Milano

A nice change from bland mid-range hotels: a small number of distinctively decorated rooms set in buildings around an off-street courtyard.|Breakfast is included - a mixture of buffet and items cooked to order.|I stayed in Room 1 which faces the road. Noise issues have been raised in other reviews (and are mentioned on the hotel's own website), but, while there was undoubtedly street noise, I didn't find it too disruptive.|A tram stop opposite the hotel provides an easy link into the city centre, although this is also quite walkable. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby.|Overall, a good choice.

The best accommodation and location in Milan. Breakfast was amazing on the lovely terrace. Our room had everything we needed and loved looking out to the garden every morning. Peaceful and unexpected in a busy city. Loved everything. Thoroughly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at La Favia — truly a hidden gem in Milan! The location is fantastic, tucked away in a charming area yet just a short walk from both Garibaldi Station and Milano Centrale, making it perfect for exploring the city and catching trains to other parts of Italy.||Our room had a lovely private terrace, which was a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. The space was beautifully decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen and modern bathroom, and everything was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully arranged.||Breakfast on the terrace each morning was a real treat, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout. Communication from booking to check-out was smooth and personal — we felt very well taken care of.||During our stay, we also did a pasta and gelato-making class near Milan Centrale, which was an absolute highlight. It made our trip even more memorable and gave us a real taste of local culture (literally!).||We truly felt like locals at La Favia, and the location couldn’t have been better for exploring all that Milan has to offer. We loved every minute and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

An property that is need of refurbishment. Good location, satisfactory breakfast, lovely owners despite irregularity of service by their staff. It is on a street which can seem a bit rough. The room felt boxedin but was functional. No TV. Fine for a quick visit.

I love this place! Delicious breakfast, nice hosts, loved the decor, great location in a beautiful building. It was so easy to get around on train or walking. We had to take one of the small rooms (Yellow Room) but it didn't matter. Our experience was perfect and the price was so reasonable. A total hidden gem! I can't say enough good things about this hotel/bed and breakfast.

LaFavia is a stunning lil B&B in Milan! By far one of the best hotel/B&B experiences we had during our 2 week trip through italy. We stayed in the Rose room which was very elegant, clean, and with plenty of space for 3 people. Location is pretty good too. Its about a 7 minute walk from the train station, and surrounded by a lot of really great restaurants. Francesca was a wonderful host and very helpful in coordinating everything for our stay. The breakfast that is included was next level! They have a cute little breakfast area with quite a few options choose from. Overall a great place to stay. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit Milan!

This is one of the best B&Bs I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are very beautiful and clean, you can tell they take extra care in the repairs and the cleanliness of their facilities. The staff is very hospitable and lovely, and the complimentary things in the room are a plus. The breakfast is simple but enough to start your day. The location is very practical and close to trams & metros for easy access and transportation. We wanted to extend our stay in some later dates but they were fully booked, which was a disappointment for us because I don’t think we will find anywhere like this in Milan. Thank you Francesca for this lovely establishment.

I LOVE this hotel/bed and breakfast! Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and such a pretty eating area. Price is not too expensive and the location is ideal for getting around walking or by train. Our room was not one of their best ones (yellow room) but it didn't even matter because everything else was perfect! Highly recommend!
