Lafayette Flats Boutique Vacation Rentals

My wife and I had a terrific time at the Corten flat. Everything was just amazing. The Corten was beautifully decorated and perfectly located to all that we wanted to see and do while we were there. I enjoyed the books on the trails in the area and the one on the buildings history and pieces of art in each specific flat sitting in the comfy chair enjoying the coffee that was provided. We hope to return again next year. To all looking for a great place to stay look no further, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Amy and Shawn!

My husband and I stayed in the Corten flat and had a great experience there. The place was beautiful and nicely furnished with lots of well- placed art. Bedroom and bathroom were very clean and comfortable rooms. The bed was a little firm to my liking, but otherwise comfy. We enjoyed some nice restaurants that were within walking distance. We especially liked the Secret Sandwich Society. And the main attraction for us was the National Park which was only 5 minutes driving distance away. We highly recommend Lafayette Flats!

Our stay at Lafayette Flats was great! Amy and Shawn were wonderful hosts. They sent us all the info we needed before check-in and followed up on us during the trip to make sure things were going well and if we needed anything. The flat itself was adorable, clean, and full of little nice touches. We really appreciated the Bridge Day pamphlets and the little welcome gift waiting for us when we arrived. So thoughtful! They even had books about New River Gorge and Fayetteville- including their own book about Lafayette Flats- which added a fun local touch. Check-in and check-out were simple and stress-free. We’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area!

I had an amazing stay at Lafayette Flats! The unit was clean, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was super comfortable, and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided — from extra towels to coffee. The location was perfect— close to everything. Communication with Shawn and Amy was easy and quick. They were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Fayetteville area. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

My wife and I have been staying at Lafayette Flats for 6 years. At this point, we've stayed in each flat at least once and are now working our way through all of them again. On this latest trip, we stayed in Corten. It had been a while since we were at the flats, and it struck us again how much time and attention Shawn and Amy have put into creating a unique experience in each flat. Corten was very cozy, and perfect for our weekend getaway. The downtown location is amazing, because it's walking distance from just about everything. This is one of our favorite places to visit and stay, and we look forward to it every time.

We spent 3 nights in one of these beautiful apartments. We have stayed a lot of places, and they have thought of everything for a comfortable stay! The bathroom was spacious and thoughtfully designed. The bed was comfortable with great pillows. However, the best part is the local art and design. Everywhere you looked, there was another beautiful piece of art to discover. This was the perfect place for our long weekend getaway while hiking in the New River Gorge. If we are ever back in the area, we will book again!

The Lafayette Flats were the perfect accommodations for our trip. The location was ideal, the Flat was beautifully maintained and well stocked with necessities. Amy and Shawn were kind enough to leave some local treats for us and to check in with us to make sure everything was going well and that we didn't need anything else. An unforgettable stay in Fayetteville, WV :) My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lafayette Flats, a boutique luxury rental perfectly located near the New River Gorge National Park, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that this space was designed with care, style, and comfort in mind. Every detail—from the high-end finishes and curated artwork to the plush linens and modern amenities—made the stay feel like a five-star experience tucked in the heart of Appalachia. The location is ideal for exploring everything the New River Gorge has to offer. Whether you're hiking, climbing, white water rafting, or just taking in the scenic beauty, you're never far from adventure—or from a cozy, elegant space to unwind afterward. Things to do nearby: Wanderlust is a terrific restaurant located right across the street, and Lost Appalachia Trading is a very charming art store located right next to Lafayette Flats. Adventures on the Gorge is also less than a 5 minute drive; we highly recommend for white water rafting. Bottom line: If you're looking for a luxurious, thoughtfully designed home base while enjoying the best of West Virginia, Lafayette Flats is it. I can't recommend it enough! Thank you, Amy and Shawn!
