Lafayette Landing Apartments and Villas

Anthony is an excellent maintenance guy! He’s friendly, understanding, and very knowledgeable. Every time I need help, he’s quick to respond and always willing to go the extra mile. He does his work with a smile and truly makes a difference here at the apartments. Great service every time!

I spent the 1st 4 months of my lease without proper runner water and with something black coming out of the bathroom faucets. I moved in to one of the villas Dec 2024 and my air filter has only been changed once. If I have my TV on and my stove oven, it kicks the breaker .

The visitor parking rules are unreasonable. We can’t park in front of the houses we are visiting but have to park by the pool house and walk ALL the way through this heat advisory to get to the house you need to get to. There are no visitor parking spots near the houses just the apartments. Where ARE we supposed to park if we are visiting someone who lives in the houses near the middle and back of the complex? I can’t wait for my family member to move out of there.

Anthony is always getting to any household work. We need within 24 hours or less great guy great personality.

Would not recommend this place. Very poor management and god forbid you’d like to speak with someone from their corporate office. They personally visit but hide behind the young ones working in the office. I have known multiple people who have had their motorcycles stolen right from the parking lot. Guess why? Because the entire time I’ve been living here the gates have not been operational not one time, which I was assured would be up and running in the process of moving in. No available garages the entire time. No security patrols or anything for your own safety or protection of your vehicles. Terrible communication and very cheaply made. Handles constantly fall off, bugs constantly come through the doors and windows, you’re told not to smoke near the grass and landscape but will literally see maintenance smoking like a chimney. Very unorganized, incompetent, and rude management!! Choose better for you money.

We have only lived here for about a month but, we are loving the beauty and cleanliness of the community. We live on the second floor and the cathedral ceiling and all of the alcoves, windows and different little nuances make this a very light, airy and comfortable place to call home. We have only had to call for maintenance once, outside light, and it was fixed very quickly. The office staff has been friendly and helpful. The neighbors are friendly and very respectful of each other. The landscaping is top notch also. Overall, this is a nice place to call home. We hope to live here for a very long time.

We moved in June 1st, 2020 and needed a quick turn around from when we viewed the apartment just 3 weeks earlier. Sharon and the other staff were prompt and showed excellent professionalism during the application process and beyond. Our unit is amazing and the price is just right. We've had two or three maintenance requests for simple things like door knobs and blinds and they were always taken care of promptly. Most importantly, the staff have all been kind and respectful. We've recommended the place to friends.

I want to say that although my family and I have been here for a couple of months, the landscaping is beautiful.Although, we still have not met our neighbors yet, people we see in the neighborhood have always spoken or waved to us. I feel it’s a friendly neighborhood. I also like the quietness. I moved from an apartment complex and it was always noisy.Previous to my two years at the apartment, I owned my house.This is my first experience renting a Villa, and we are happy here so far.It makes a huge difference in your well being. I’m also happy with management, because they answer my questions quickly. I’m also happy to know that maintenance is available 24 hours/day.Both Dana and Robert have come quickly and worked professionally to resolve any little problems that came up.We’re hoping this can be a permanent home for us!

This is a really nice complex and my wife and I have been here nearly two years. We seldom have to call Maintanence, but one time we were having an issue with our fridge and it needed to be checked immediately. Staff came out within 30 min. to check on things and got it back to normal. They responded so quickly after learning I had insulin and risked it going bad if the fridge failed. I really appreciated this extra effort. Our neighbors are just wonderful and it feels like a real community should. I am very happy about living here and feel it's a safe, quality place. My only issue is the entrance gate that alway seems to be broken.

Lived here over two years. Not planning to move anytime soon. Nice, quite complex, but too expensive. Guess you get what you pay for.

I do NOT recommend this company. I do NOT recommend living at any of their properties. If you do decide to reside here, make sure you take pictures and videos of the property before you turn in the key. Above all else, DEMAND an exit walk through before you turn the keys in, no matter how busy or understaffed the office is at the time. We made this mistake. The staff was too busy for a final walk through, but I left my contact info if there was any problem. Not once was I ever contacted to state there was an issue or given the opportunity to rectify the situation. We were also never given a check out sheet(other than the one you get when you move in a year and a half earlier). All apartment communities are required to provide you with a walk through and a check out list before you leave and at the time of checkout. This one did neither. Unfortunately, I THOUGHT I had become friends with the property managers and trusted the situation. WRONG! Save yourself some grief and cover yourself. Take LOTS of pictures and videos to prove how you left the apartment/villa. Needless to say, we left this place SPOTLESS and very well cleaned. We have pictures and video to prove it. With that said....we have been trying to reach out to the upper level of this company to open dialogue and have had very little response. They are all in C.Y.A. mode. I have requested multiple times for a sit down meeting with no response. Do yourself a favor....don't live here.

First off, let me say I would never recommend this property to anyone. I am coming from a very high end luxury apt complex, and used to quality in my home. I relocated here, and had to do everything over the phone and via email. I was advised of allll the amenities, but when I arrived nothing was ready. I asked the leasing consultant why?? Her response was.. "Well I told you we were under new construction". So the pool, gym, and laundromat were not accessible. On top of that, you are charged $35 for access to these amenities. The community is suppose to be gated, but the gates didn't become functional until a couple of weeks ago. On top of that, there's another $35 fee for gate access. Smh. Twice I have come outside my apt to see fliers from other angry residents on my door and mailbox. Sad to say, I was relieved that I was not the only angry resident. FYI.... This community is probably 90% populated by pet owners. I am very allergic. I had to file many complaints about dog poop outside my door. I began getting bit on my ankles and feet while in my apt. (mind you, I have nooooo pets) I haven't had but 1 visitor. (who also does not have pets) When I brought this to the attention of the front office, they brought Terminex out and confirmed that I had fleas in my home. When requesting compensation for all the treatments and products I had to buy to avoid itching and continuous biting, I was flat out denied. The quality of the apts are low. The walls are thin. The hot water smells of eggs (to be expected of a newly built complex). The bathroom curtain rod falls easily, and u can see how cheap they are. The refrigerator is loud, and oh yeah.....There is NO phone Jack. Lol. I have to laugh, because the front office did not even know that until I asked for help looking for my phone jack. The TWC referral I received from the front office, hooked up my Internet and cable, not my phone. I text and called him and never got a reply. In closing, I would not recommend this complex to anyone. But if you do choose to make it an option, ask questions before you sign. Look, feel, and take a good walk around the apartment and complex. I moved from Tennessee to Lafayette Landing Apartments and Villas a few months ago and I am pleased with the choice I made. I am still excited and happy while living here! The staff is exceptionally attentive to details and directions. They are friendly, courteous and genuinely professional regarding residential matters as related to me and my apartment and this community. I appreciate the notifications, reminders and updates via email and follow-up calls the few times I've requested maintenance for minor stuff. Maintenance response is fast and efficient. Neighbors are friendly and appear to be as satisfied as I. Some of us have shared our positive experiences since moving here and swear we'll never move. As a resident it is important to feel safe and content and I do. Thanks for allowing me to live here in beauty, peace and harmony.
