Very nice place for drinking beer and relaxing. Cosy atmosphere and calm music make this place ideal for loooong evenings ;) Lafayette offers a wide variety of Belgian beers' types and ofcourse other alcohol and no alcohol drinks. For sure it is not last visit here

Relatively good music marred by the mass of solitary, self-absorbed solitary middle aged males standing around aimlessly on the dance floor.

[october 2023] I offer you 5 stars because my first time in this bar was magical, a timeless and intercontinental meeting place, even unique in its genre, a place where DJs mix on vinyl and where people like to dance like I do. have rarely seen in Europe! Quality beers, even rare, can be found in local bars (my favorite Saint Bernardus apt 12 of course, but in moderation). A big thank you to the big boss for his hospitality and his good manners and good humor. Ps :When the bosses are not there, the little ones gain power! or it was a most distressing extra. I hope not to reach the reputation of Marvin Gaye's bar and its extraordinary charmed

Superb selection of beers in a friendly Ostend classic location. Good mix of locals and a few tourists.

In this little authentic dark bar, the DJ plays well curated American soul music from the 70’s. Definitely worth popping in for a few brews. Not a Hugh beer selection but that is not why you come here.

The place to be from Oostende. From beer wine to cocktails . With music 🎶 to become joyful Where Marvin Gay was a famous guest.

Stopped by midweek,so wasn't busy, excellent choice of beer's, Small bar with tables out front, Good atmosphere with some decent music playing,Imagine it's a great place to be at weekends.
