This place is amazing omg. there is a lot of clothing stores for a lot of different styles and they have super interesting and unique clothes. AND THE DESING OF THE SHOPS???? OMG ITS AMAZING its like a shopping and an art exhibition. But the clothes are a little expensive. I heavily recommend this place

Google
Very stylish and interesting store for fashionistas, I almost risk it all for a very expensive and cool piece but they didn't have my size 😅

You guys wouldn’t know how much things I found in this place. There was so much food and clothes and toys to be sold. The variety of stores made my mum happy. There was also another shopping mall which I am guessing is from the same company. The outside top view was amazing.

Alternative fashion epicenter. I’ve never seen so many cool styles and friendly people all in one place!

🔸Features Fashion building that has been an icon of Harajuku for a little over 40 years. Many stores for young people. POP UPs are often held here. Multi-purpose restroom on 3F, diaper changing place and nursing room on 4F ATM is on 1.5F Coin lockers are located on 2.5F, but there are no money changers, so you need to have some coins ready when you use them. 😶‍🌫️⚠️ 🔹Points of concern There are not many restaurants. The stores change frequently. No information Lots of lines for restrooms. Trash cans are hard to find (under the elevator buttons, in the restrooms, and in the restaurant area). The floor numbers are interesting. No vending machines, no smoking area? 🅿️ parking lot The parking lot is a multi-level parking lot, so cars that are too high cannot park there. Compared to nearby coin-operated parking, it may be more reasonably priced. Business hours are short, so you need to be careful.

Fun shopping for the younger and fashionable crowd. Love all the unusual clothes. Wish I have seen even more raw or aggressive styles. I do love the small authentic artistry shops where they made one of a kind t-shirt, wall arts. Need to support our artists community.

Very happy with the clothing stores in this place! I was able to get great pieces! Be prepared to spend a large amount of money 🙏. The brands are not cheap. I finally got to see many brands I love in person. I was only disappointed that some shopkeepers were very pushy… it made me uncomfortable. I would be pushed to enter even when I decline multiple times. 😞 Those shops would also pressure you to look around. It’s overwhelming to be pressured to buy more… It was also a little sad that 90% of shops didn’t allow photography. They were set up so beautifully and it’s a shame it can’t be captured.

First time in Tokyo and we accidentally walked in this mall. Endless boutique stores. Reminds me of US 80s and 90s style and music. Literally DMX playing in some of the stores. The quality of clothes is great and the store attendants are so damn nice and polite.

Yelp
Wow, a whole department store full of Goth Lolita, Harajuku fashion, and creative unusual high end garments for both men and women, along with underwear, makeup, jewelery and shoes, even wearable LED items. It really is a treat for anyone who loves something different. You can browse for inspiration to recreate by sewing at home, or buy and wear to be on trend. It is expensive, no doubt about it, but there are cute things to take home. I bought my daughter a one off designer ring with a cute little Maltese cameo which was reasonably priced and so adorable. We spent a few hours trawling the different levels, visiting our fave stores, but I would say you have to be interested in alternative clothing to visit this store or you may not find anything you like.

Yelp
We found a few cool items but they were so expensive! This mall is primarily punk rock, harajuku, babydoll, type of stores. Not for me and regret spending so much time looking around at all of the stores on each floor. Unless expensive Harajuku/Japanese punk rock is your style, I would skip this mall.

Yelp
Pretty large department store/mall in Harajuku. The building has a pretty distinctive round design, so it isn't hard to pick out. The inside is a little crazy and hectic, with a lot of different brands and booths packed together. We came here on a weekday and Laforet was still very crowded. The staircase is pretty wide to handle all the people coming up and down, but navigating the mall can be very confusing. We originally came in for a place to eat, thinking it would have some kind of food court, but as far as we could tell there aren't many food places in here at all. Overall, it's a really awesome place to check out. The stores in Laforet all reflect the very distinctive styles and goods that you find in Harajuku, with a bunch of really cute, quirky goods. I thought the prices were on the high side, but it's a fun place to browse for a bit and maybe pick up a cool backpack or souvenir.

Yelp
One of Harajuku's landmark shopping complexes, this building with an ever-changing facade reflects the fashion obsession of the district. If you can wade through the sea of hungry shoppers you're bound to find something you like, and the regular sales don't hurt either. Of course this place is usually packed and often kept at uncomfortable temperatures (maybe that's just my imagination), but it'll take a few visits to fully map out the place without getting completely exhausted by the array of choices. Even if you have a very particular look in mind (say Gothic Lolita, or some upscale accessories in neutral colors) more than one store will appeal to you. Prepare your wallet; this is a difficult place to just window-shop.

Yelp
M says, "Go to Harajuku, check out the girls." He knows that I like girls. So far he has not led me stray. Sending me to M the sex store was his idea. So was the fish market and the zen coffee. I found no Harajuku girls outside of the station, coming out of Minji shrine and then viola, there there were, all of these girls in heavy make up, gray / off white coat, suitcases and they were standing in groups, exchanging phone numbers and chitchatting away. What a scene. Snap snap snap, of course and send photos to M. He has been a good virtual tour guide all the way from San Francisco, as he had lived in Tokyo for a few months, each year, and I know his hidden agenda at this point, he wanted to convert me into a Japan connoisseur so we could travel together back here, forgoing my opinion of Japan's political positioning on the atrocity the government committed back in the 1940s. And to my surprise, their liberal paper Japan Times has been quite critical of its own government, leading me to believe that not every Japanese is as much as an a-hole as its government. On that notion, I was able to relax a bit and getting to know the country without my lens on. Laforet is a fashion center of Tokyo, it's filled with fashion forward shops. Cosmetics stores were a hit for me. It carries make up for us Asians. I looked instantly prettier after trying on and bought the shop. A BDSM shirt featuring two anime girls making out was super hot, I did not think I could wear it out anywhere but did contemplate it for a bit about buying it or not. Decided not. There are so many great stores, look for non brand stores, because that's how you can get one of kind, or at least things you can't get back home, clothing. There is a counter for "foreign customers", that's what the sign said. I asked if there were wifi, the answer is no. My FB posting had to wait until I was out of the building. There was a store for just barbie bra and underwear. It felt a bit odd. Only in Japan, of course. I directed my step sister to Laforet, as she's headed to Tokyo tomorrow, again; the country is filled with Chinese tourists. It's been on sale for a while, but it's also because in essence, it's the quieter, neater, awesomer neighbor to the otherwise chaotic neighboring country. I'm a convert. After this trip.

Yelp
One of the many great malls in Harajuku on Omote-sando. This particular complex is one of the more popular; this, due to its landmark location and the vast selection of high end and quality stores. If you are a shopaholic then you must come here. I enjoyed splurging at La Foret, hosever, I went on a Saturday afternoon and the crowds were obnoxious. That said, have patience if you come here (or Harajuku in general) on the weekend.

Yelp
Laforet Harajuku is a monumental shopping mall located on the large intersection of Harajuku. I've got mixed feelings about this one, but would like to note that most of it comes down to taste in fashion. The majority of Laforet is retail, with a wide range of pop fashion to heavy goth fashion, this place covers a wide demographic of customers. I think one of the cool parts about Laforet is that they don't go for mainstream; they're a collection of small specialty fashion stores that have huge pride in what they do. Most of the fashion brands are for women. They're also very famous for sometimes holding large sales. I'm just not that big on premium brands, I like simple fashion like H&M and Bershka. I did use to go to Laforet a lot since they had Topman Men there, but all Japanese branches left the country last year. Other times I would go now is to get a burrito at Guzman y Gomez :) This place is really handy if youre looking for a place with wifi or a place to charge your phone. The 2nd floor of Laforet has free wifi and a USB charging port available for everybody!

Yelp
Laforet is definitely a place you might want to check if you're into a lot of boutique fashion-- Vivienne Westwood, H.Naoto, Putumayo... etc. Or if you are looking for Lolita fashion, Mori-kei.. I mean, this place is definitely worth the looksie. They also had a collection of One Piece items peppered throughout the boutiques. Some stores might have a limited ed. phone case or t-shirt... so you had to hunt each store or just look through the Laforet One Piece collection leaflet. We ended up perusing each boutique since a friend was interested. Price wise, they're definitely on up there. Shirts range into the ¥10,000 and far on up. The food court is also pretty phenomenal. There were tons of options and all of them looked really good. I particularly loved looking at the various ice creams and desserts. The really good thing about this place though is you do get some really unique pieces and have a large selection of specialty boutiques at your fingertips or under one roof.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of this mall, which offers more high-end versions of the kind of style you see on Takeshita Dori. They have tons of unconventional fashion, but not the cheap, disposable stuff. If you are looking for Japanese brands with more of an edge to them, this is a good spot. It's everything from gothic lolita to edgy street styles. It's mainly apparel - shoes, clothing, accessories - with a small amount of beauty. There are men's styles there, but it's more biased towards women. The top floor is a small, 1 room museum of fashion. My first visit had an incredible display of sculptural hats.

Yelp
It's a big shopping mall in Harajuku. Every time I go to Harajuku, I go through Takeshita Street from Harajuku station, then turn right and visit this shopping mall. Personally I like the shop called "Kiwa Products(貴和製作所)". The unique thing about this building is its stairs; they are wide and easy to go up and down. The way the floors are labeled is also interesting, 1.5F or 2.5F. There are few places to eat, so don't count on finding restaurant in this building.

Yelp
It's a shopping mall in Harajuku area, with a lot of unique expensive items that specializes to the style that Harajuku area has to offer. It's kind of like a department store, because there are several different name brands here and there, but they all clash together so you don't know which brand is which. It was always packed the few times I went to visit this place. I saw some really cute and adorable t-shirts, but I couldn't justify the price to buy them LOL.
