What a wonderful hotel. I loved our room. The design is brilliant and very efficient but at the same time incredibly comfortable. The closets were also designed to accommodate guests who are traveling with gear, whether it is climbing, hiking, skiing, etc. The staff was great and loved the bar area, very warm and inviting. We did not have dinner here but the breakfast was a feast. I would strongly recommend staying here.

Just finished 6 wonderful days at this fabulous mountain hotel near Alta Badia ski resort. The hotel is very well appointed and tastefully decorated in the local mountain style. They have a great breakfast and serve a different cake every afternoon in the lounge area. A nice spa, hot tub, and sauna for relaxing after skiing. All of the staff we interacted with were very helpful including Sabina at the front desk, Farrah and Dino the shuttle drivers, Erika in the dining room and Andrea at the Bar. Although you can easily walk 0.5 km to the Piz Sorega lift, their shuttle van will take you there and pick up upon request and also drop you at neighboring towns if you need a lift.

A beautiful gem in San Cassiano, which I would suggest is the best central spot to really see and explore the Italian Dolomites. Room far exceeded my expectations, with a very well stocked kitchen, great bed and shower, and a large, private deck to relax and view the mountains. Extensive and excellent breakfast, and we had a very nice couples massage in the spa. The desk personnel and Erika our breakfast host recommended the best hikes around, and offered us a number of bus and lift deals. We really appreciated and used the 3 out of 4 day ticket to the lifts in the area and used them to get to some truly amazing hikes and views.||One of the best lodging experiences I've had in Europe! Short drive over a striking pass to Cortina d Ampezzo, short drive to Covara and over the pass to Val Gardena. Whatever direction you go from San Cassiano provides unbelievable mountain and valley views!!

We have stayed at Lagacio several times and from the moment you step inside (and are greeted by the porter in the car park), it feels like home in the Dolomites. Well presented rooms/apartments; very comfortable beds; clean and elegant spa facilities, very friendly staff and a sumptuous breakfast every single time. Conveniently located in San Cassiano to the chairlifts and the main street. We intend to continue staying here for many years to come.

If you’re looking for luxury, intimate, personable and friendly experience, this place is for you. The staff here is very welcoming, rooms are stylish and comfortable, the breakfast is truly a foodie experience (fresh homemade breads every morning). The owner is also interested with his guests well being (he proposed to drive us to trails at 6am!). this is the secret GEM of the Dolomites!!!!

Really hard to find if you arrive by car!!! There is no real vehicular access nor entry if you arrive by car. Contact hotel by phone prior as they do not always answer at the main street level Garage checking by dialing the intercom. After looking for the entry for 30 minutes we ended up calling by phone and it turned out the garage checking is actually the way to go, but if the reception is busy they just don’t answer the intercom. Hotel is otherwise so charming. Great design and artwork every where. Amazing SPA. Really exceptional hospitality and lovely staff in general.

Love love love at first sight. Highly recommended stay. This is such a cute residence. A great place to stay for anyone. Their bigger units have a roomy dining area, bunk beds, and 100% functioning kitchen (but there are a few good restaurant around that are in the must-visit list). Pack light, they have the usual ski lodge facilities, such as: laundry, garage, and storage rooms. Even their smallest resident unit is roomy and well equipped. The spa was beautifully relaxing and they are equipped with solarium, sauna, and relaxation area. The spa has very short working hours 1500-2000. The Gym was decent and has all the multi function equipment. No weight rack. Nothing in this town opens 24 hours so don’t expect the gym to.
