L'Agapa Hôtel - Spa Codage (Perros-Guirec, Brittany) Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Travelers in search of a unique French coastal experience — one that’s practically the polar opposite of the mob scene on the French Riviera — take refuge at Perros-Guirec in Côtes-d’Armor. Home to the otherworldly pink beaches and rock formations of Brittany’s Granite Rose Coast, Perros-Guirrec is the setting for L’Agapa, a surprisingly successful fusion of 1930s spirit and funky modern seaside atmosphere." - Tablet Hotels

Our third visit - and that amazing view of the bay is still breathtaking! This time we were in a room in the Villa Desirade, and we were very impressed. The decor has been freshened up since we were last here, all to good effect. The staff are all welcoming and are happy either to indulge my less than perfect French or to speak in good English. The room could have been improved by having a kettle instead of (or as well as) the coffee machine. The TV only has one English channel, but you can connect Netflix and YouTube. Breakfasts remain excellent, with a wide choice from the buffet. The restaurant was either fully booked or not available on the two occasions we enquired, which was disappointing (although there is a decent bar menu which we enjoyed one night). The fitness room is quite small, but the pool area is excellent. All in all, still one of our favourites in France.

Wonderful hotel in Perros Guerrec, highly recommend the hotel for it's access to the area including the village centre & the douaniers hike to Ploumac'h.

This was a lovely hotel. It had all the facilities we wanted including spa, pool, bar and restaurant, parking and EV charging . The rooms were tastefully done and clean. The view from the restaurant and terrace was amazing as I am sure also from the rooms facing the sea. The staff we friendly and welcoming and the breakfast delicious. We didn't try the tasting menu due to the price but sampled the many local restaurants. The bar food was tasty, well presented and affordable.

Beautiful location perched above the bay. Room and view were great. Only gripe would be the mattress cover on the bed made sleeping difficult. Breakfast good. 150 steps down to the beach (and back up!) well located for coastal walks. Dinner in restaurant was good choice of menu

Great hotel, fantastic location, little disappointed by the quality of the staff at breakfast which costs this hotel a star in my opinion. There is a lack of eye for detail, some maintenance that should be done especially in the Spa area. I did enjoy the massage at the Spa and with a pool, sauna and hammam it’s very well equipped.

We really liked this 5-star hotel overlooking the Perros-Guirec bay. We had a room with a terrace overlooking the sea: gorgeous view. Very good looking and well maintained hotel, with a very good and affordable restaurant too. Staff is friendly. Spa looks great although with a limited time window for kids. This hotel is more for people looking for quiet time than for families but really good experience overall!

This is without doubt one of the best hotels in France, if not the world. The view over the Perros-Guirec bay is just stunning and the hotel's architecture makes the most of it, whether you are in one of the sumptious rooms, the restaurant or the spa. The food is sublime, the personnel delightful and there are plenty of activities available. I stayed in the "Altitude" suite - an experience all in itself! Thank you to all for a truly memorable stay.

We much enjoyed our return after 5 years. Still the same impeccable staff, and the wonderful view of the bay. The decor has been recently freshened up, much to its advantage, but with the art-deco vibe maintained. Inevitably, prices have risen, and value for money is a little more challenging than it was. The restaurant has moved further upmarket, with just a choice of 3 tasting menus (admittedly very fine, but not for every night).|Location is just about perfect, with shops in town in easy reach (but not too close), and the beach easily accessible too - if you can manage the 100+ steps back up to the hotel! Easy onsite, under cover parking, with a number of charging points. Wi-Fi reliable.|Bedrooms are very comfortable, but not large (floor space at a bit of a premium). Absence of air-conditioning might be a problem for some, but not during our stay this time - large windows do open and give good ventilation.|I have a feeling we'll be back!
