"This group of more than 30 cafés across Denmark are open early, so they’re great for breakfast. The tea, coffee, and sandwiches are all very nice, but what really sets Lagkagehuset apart is the quality of the cakes. It would take an iron will to resist one of their strawberry tarts or a slice of Christianshavnerkage, a hazelnut torte topped with strawberry-vanilla cream and berries. The café in Copenhagen overlooks the lakes, and when the water glitters on a sunny day, there are few places more pleasant for an impromptu afternoon tea."

If you find yourself this side of Sortedams Sø, this is a good place to stop for a coffee and a sweet pastry or typical Nordic sandwich while taking in the Copenhagen skyline across the water.

The cappuccino was big enough, good price for being in Copenhague, I got the shokolade bolle, best choice ever. The staff is always kind and helpful with different languages.

A good place to eat pastry if you value a nice view.

Sandwich was frozen, old and hard to take any bit off. Pain au chocolate looks like somebody drove with their bike over it

Very good pastry, bread and cakes.... But the prices are off the chart!?

The nicest service I got and wonderful tuna sandwich. The lady remembered me after one visit. Good coffee

I only go here for coffee and the danish pastry "hindbærsnitter". They have 30% student discount on hot beverages which is very nice. Otherwise comparatively too pricey. If you like expensive stuff it's very delicious and high quality.

Nice modern chain cafe in the heart of Copenhagen.
