"An island lake with a view Lago Dos Bocas is a perfect place to take the family to spend a day. This man-made lake is situated behind a dam in the Utuado/Arecibo region of the west/central part of Puerto Rico . There is small park that is freely open to the public and is operated by the Department of Transportation. There are ferry rides around the island that leave on the hour, and these 20 minute rides are free of charge. The main draw of this area are the restaurants situated along the shoreline, to which the boats can bring you to for an meal of local comida criolla. From here to the paradise, you can stay in here for a day, you can take route trip in boat or go to lunch or dinner in the restaurant. You can make a family day in ground or on the water. Amazing place for enjoy and relaxation or to surprise someone. Make a plan and come to enjoy.

Extraordinary views of this beautiful area in the central mountains near Utuado! Highly recommend staying in the area or taking a day trip to see this incredible area! If you’re interested in trying to ride the ferry or boats to the restaurants along the lake, it seems they only only run on weekends per our discussions with some locals.

Great place all year around. A place for everyone, family or adventurers. Would love it more if more maintenance would be given to the ramp area.

Not sure where people park or have a decent view- Google led us nowhere ultimately. Mountains are pretty to look at but water is a bit murky.

A great place to go by in the car. To take in some of nature and the breeze. A sight to behold when the clouds and sky seem to unite with the lake water.

Expensive expensive and expensive!!! Boat ride got rained on. Food was not good. Most menu items were not available. Coffee was cold.

At the entrance the sign said "ask for the daily special" when we get to the rest. asked about the special the waitter said there is no daily special and based on his knowledge that was when they opened the rest. I told him that was a misleading sign but after looking so much in a very wildernest area we had to eat there and pay the regular price, not very atractive prices for an open space place where the bathroom had no light. In addition they charged us 15%service charge that in PR does not applied. Never come back.
