Located slightly ahead as per GMaps, Lago Villa #17 run by Mr. Rishi and family is a perfect option for people seeking a premium comfort stay with a feature loaded room and a price which was definitely more than worth! The owners stay in the same villa in the upper floors, the basement has 4/5 rooms, 1 which is probably the best - Lake view room (we were lucky to get that) and we stayed here for 4 nights. You have spacious cupboards for storage, with cloth hangers, work desk with Wifi, Kettle for hot beverages, some complimentary snacks to go with it, a sofa, a single bed apart from the king bed - so it can easily fit 3 adults. For entertainment you have subscribed OTT channels at your disposal, there are a couple of cycles if you'd like to move around, a beautiful backyard opening to the lake for workouts/yoga/chai sessions, and if these were not enough you could walk up to the porch area and play catch with Bullet (ready for a catch even at 10 in the night) and Tiger. You also have a lovely note written by Nysha(owner) to discover the places around the city which are within 2-3km and restaurant suggestions if you'd like to order them at the villa too. The washrooms are huge, the shower is spacious, hot water can be a concern specially during winters as it's solar led so plan your shower accordingly, there are basic toiletries provided and fresh towels. The king bed is comfortable, the bed linen felt fresh everyday and therefore the sleep quality is top notch as there is ambient lighting and absolutely no noise in the room. The food is home-cooked, mostly the breakfast is included in your room tariff and you get freshly-made food at the dining room overlooking the lake again. We also had a non-veg lunch meal during our stay and it was delicious. The timings of the serving need to be coordinated with the staff who may re-direct it to Mr. Rishi, so you may have to put in some negligible effort to get through. Overall the stay is pleasant, we would go back again for sure without a blink, the locality is safe, it's very close to the CM's house and obviously walkable to the upper lake area. There is space for around 2-3 cars for parking, the 4th may have to be on the street, but still be safe as they have surveillance to monitor.

Although there are many positives of this place, the best part is the location -- it's just opposite to the lake, with a personal walkway (from 19:30 to 06:00 -- other time, it's for outsiders too). The sunset view at lake, from the house lawn, with a cup of tea/coffee is amazing. We went with family -- however, this can be a great place for newly married couples -- even two/three families will be great. Inside the city, still very quiet and nature friendly. The service person, Mr. Sunil is very cordial -- and house owner Mr. Rishi is very caring about his boarders -- met us every evening to have friendly chat and at the same time. provided us ideas about tours. You can order foods through Swiggy -- you also can have home cooked foods -- Sunil is an excellent cook. Overall, great experience -- home away from home.

This is as close as you can get to stay next to the lake. It’s almost like a private access to the lake after the park closed for public in the evenings. It’s in the middle of the city so everything is close. It’s very quiet and comfortable if you are looking for a getaway. It’s more like a homestay so don’t expect orders delivered to your room door or room service like hotels. Though they provide decent breakfast to give you a good start for the day.

Awesome place with awesome people...rooms were good clesn breakfast was really good...dint have lunch or dinner there. But best part was the owners they were really loving and caring had an issue with microwave and they sorted it same night. Wud be coming back again for sure.

I visited Bhopal with my family. The place is realy amazing, location is superb, rooms are very big , clean and with class interior. Very tasty but only homely food. Option for zomoto is also there , good restorants are also near by. Backyard directely open to "बड़ा तालाब" with splendid view. One can go for morning and evening walk or can have picnic with frinds or family . The location is the best part. One can get out from back door and then there is long trek beside the upper Lake. About hotel, it is a villa. Aesthetic is unique and interesting. All basic facilities are top notch.
