"Explore Bora Bora's Lagoon Bora Bora is home to one of the world's most beautiful lagoons. Numerous companies offer day-trip excursions, but Lagoon Service is recommended for its well-maintained boats, friendly ukulele-playing guides, and excellent Polynesian fare. Guests get to cruise around the islandsand make stops to snorkel in coral gardens, swim among playful rays, and experience the thrill of swimming with docile sharks. The trip concludes with a lunch, enjoyed ata table set up in the shallow aquamarine water. Thepicnicincludes everything from poisson cru to coconut bread andall sorts of fresh fruits. Note: The sun is brutal here,so wear rash guards or T-shirts as well assunscreen."

This has to have been the most lovely tour I have ever been on. We saw the most beautiful black tip sharks, Stingrays and lovely fish. We had a lovely lunch on a private islet and enjoyed a fun demonstration. To top it off, our tour guides were extremely nice and friendly. I could not recommend this more.

We had the most wonderful experience with our tour and guide (Vatea). We loved swimming with the sharks and rays, and exploring the coral garden. The lunch was enormous, local, and delicious and many fish came to greet us again. Our guide was fun and a great yukulele player and singer. He knew every corner of the island and his love for it was palpable. This is a family business and everyone chips in—feels very genuine. A truly unique and fun experience! We highly recommend it. I can't say enough great things about Lagoon Service and Captain Mike! We enjoyed every moment of our snorkeling tour: swimming with sharks and rays, exploring the stunning coral garden, seeing the beauty of Bora Bora from different perspectives, and learning about the history of the land formation (volcano and motus). The small group tour was awesome; no getting lost in a crowd. Capt Mike interacted with eachol of us, ensuring we felt good about the water and the sea life. He led us through a good swim path in the coral garden, so we could follow without feeling rushed or concerned about where to go. He even played ukulele and sang for us on the way out!

We chose the full day package which is a great choice. We swam with stingrays, large sharks and colorful fish. I have water phobia and was nervous about swimming in the ocean. Their guides made sure I have life jacket on and helped me to get into the open water comfortably and back on the boat. They also guided me through the coral garden which it’s hard to navigate through with current. It’s my first time swimming in the ocean. The meal they provided was high quality and definitely recommend you to do a full day package rather a half day. We voluntarily did a quick beach cleanup after lunch. Please bring a trash bag to do a beach cleanup if you can. It will help this island tremendously. We wrapped up the trip learning how to open coconut, make coconut milk and eat a sprouted coconut( great for gut health) We are feeling grateful for this magical experience.

My teenager and I recently went on this tour with TAU, and we could not have designed a more ideal tour of Bora Bora. The length of time for the full day tour was perfect. The time went quickly, and we still got back in time to clean up, rest and recover for dinner. The tour was also the perfect combination of sight-seeing, snorkeling, cultural learning, relaxation, and entertainment. Then it was topped off with a delicious lunch on an idyllic motu. We had so much fun, and were so grateful to have the BEST tour guide! Tau is funny, multi-talented (he can sing, play the ukulele, AND drive a boat at the same time!), open a coconut like no one's business, and can weave ANYTHING out of a coconut tree branch of leaves! It's been 2 weeks and we are STILL talking about how awesome he was! Highly recommend this tour!

Goodness. Where to start! Our tour was billed as “swimming with sting rays and sharks, with lunch on a private motu”. That’s like saying Bora Bora is a place where you can swim. It’s true, but it does NOT do it justice!! Our guide picked us up from our resort’s dock, gathered the rest of the passengers, and we were off. There was a cooler of drinks for us, and a guide that kept us entertained the whole time. We stopped in a shallow area to see stingrays. Did you know stingrays like cuddles?! Well, now I do. They were all over our guide, and we all got a turn to hold one of “his girls”. Then we went to a deeper area with a handful of beautiful (and shy) black-tipped sharks. We went to a final area where we formed a line (like ducks!) and followed our guide through the most gorgeous coral garden. In between our stops, our guide kept us entertained either by playing his ukulele and singing for us, or naming each resort, or teaching us natural science facts about the scenes around us. (I now know that stingrays can eat through their ears. So that’s cool.) We ended up with an absolutely delicious lunch on a private island, and a detailed (and delicious) coconut husking demonstration. Ray was our guide- he was incredible. Kevin was his crew, and was also wonderful. I sent the following note to his boss: “ I just wanted to send a massive māuruuru! Our excursion today with Ray and Kevin went above and beyond our expectations. From cuddly sting rays to truly excellent food to beautiful music and an amazing coconut demonstration…it was all incredible. Thank you for an awesome tour, and please pass our compliments on to Ray and Kevin. We will ask for Ray by name if we come back!”

Roni was terrific! This is a must-do excursion while you are in Bora Bora. He will take you around the whole island, teach you about it's history and get you to snorkeling spots that you can definitely not reach on your own. We got close encounters with reef sharks, stingrays, and amazing coral gardens. We had one of the best meals served to us on the beach of a tiny island. I would come back to Bora Bora just to re-live this experience! Maururu
