"Explore Bora Bora's Lagoon Bora Bora is home to one of the world's most beautiful lagoons. Numerous companies offer day-trip excursions, but Lagoon Service is recommended for its well-maintained boats, friendly ukulele-playing guides, and excellent Polynesian fare. Guests get to cruise around the islandsand make stops to snorkel in coral gardens, swim among playful rays, and experience the thrill of swimming with docile sharks. The trip concludes with a lunch, enjoyed ata table set up in the shallow aquamarine water. Thepicnicincludes everything from poisson cru to coconut bread andall sorts of fresh fruits. Note: The sun is brutal here,so wear rash guards or T-shirts as well assunscreen."

An absolutely incredible experience. The boat was clean and in perfect condition. The three stops we did were fantastic. We then had lunch in a Motu, the food was again amazing and was plenty for two. However the best part of our experience was Captain Ta’Aroa. He was just the best and had so much knowledge of the sea, the island, the culture. A once in a lifetime experience

We directly booked a Private full day trip and our guide Niko picked us up at the Westin boat dock promptly, and proceeded to take us to 4-5 amazing spots throughout the day. We are advanced swimmers and snorkelers and he customized the trip to our abilities. We saw eagle rays, sting rays, sharks, fish, coral, eel, and much more. Towards the end, we had an enjoyable Motu lunch and even had a ray come up to say hi. Highly recommend Lagoon services, it was such an enjoyable experience, and Niko was great! FYI - We learned that Lagoon Services & Reef Discovery are owned by the same company but tailored for the experience. To simplify: Lagoon Services feature Polynesian outrigger boats with more cultural appeal of the guide and experience, and Reef Discovery feature speed boat types with V-shaped hulls who focus on the ecological parts of marine life and specialize in manta discovery.

We did the full day snorkeling tour. Our guide, Toroa (aka Captain Jack Sparrow) made it so much fun with his music and commentary along the way. We swam with sharks and rays in the shallows, then with the sharks again in the deeper water, and then explored the coral gardens. Afterwards we had an amazing lunch on one of the motus where we had the best poisson cru (raw fish, like ceviche) that we had on the entire trip! Toroa and another guide serenaded us while we ate. 11/10, would definitely recommend!

Amazing full-day lagoon tour with caring crew We had an awesome tour with Lagoon Services, led by Captain Taaroa. He was fun, sassy, experienced, and really respectful of the marine life while still making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable in the water, especially guests who were more nervous about snorkeling. We had close and intimate engagements with black reef-tip sharks, stingrays, and several types of fish. Lunch on the motu was delicious, and the live singing and ukulele added such a charming touch as did the weaved headbands the captains made for the ladies. The only thing I’d suggest is having an alternate snorkel spot ready if one of the usual locations isn’t available (in our case it was closed due to outrigger boat races), as the extra time on the motu felt a bit stretched. Overall, a fantastic tour that I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a memorable day on the lagoon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Merci bien et Mauru’uru roa!!!

Staying at the Westin (superb), we booked a full-day tour (6hr) directly with Lagoon Service. Right on time, Pa'ete picked us up at our dock in the sleek outrigger power boat where we joined ten others. We headed north up the crystalline turquoise lagoon to our first swim at the "Coral Garden" with its spectacular coloured corals. We then headed out of the western lagoon into 20m of clear water where we snorkelled with ten patrolling black-tips circling. Amazingly a group of scuba divers passed under us 60 feet below. Our last swim spot was in shallows surrounded by large rays. We then enjoyed lunch on the Motu and walked to the ocean beach. in all a spectacular day!

10+ / Outstanding experience! The lagoon excursion was absolutely extraordinary and without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip. The snorkeling spots were simply breathtaking — crystal-clear water, incredible colors, and an amazing marine life that felt like swimming in an aquarium. Each stop was better than the previous one. The lunch on the motu was a dream. Eating with our feet in the water while tropical fish, sharks, and stingrays were swimming peacefully around us was a truly unique and magical experience. The food was very tasty, fresh, and well prepared, enjoyed in an unforgettable setting. We also loved the coconut demonstration, which was fun, interactive, and very entertaining — a lovely cultural touch that made the day even more special. What truly made this excursion a 10+ experience, however, were Boby and his colleague (unfortunately I didn’t catch his name). They were amazing hosts — super entertaining, funny, attentive, and professional. They did everything possible to make us feel comfortable, safe, relaxed, and happy throughout the entire day. Their positive energy, humor, and care made all the difference. This was not just a tour — it was an authentic, joyful, and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the island

I had an amazing experience with Lagoon Service Bora Bora, and our tour guide Aro truly made the day unforgettable. He was funny, kind, and shared so many interesting facts and pieces of history about Bora Bora. Honestly, he’s one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had — his energy really made the whole tour special. One of the coolest moments was when Aro actually dove down near the coral reefs to bring up a starfish for us to see up close. It was such a unique experience and showed how knowledgeable and comfortable he is in the water. We also got to swim with sharks and stingrays, which was absolutely incredible and way more peaceful and beautiful than I expected. The whole day felt adventurous but still very safe and guided. The stop at the private island was another highlight. The food was absolutely incredible — authentic, fresh, and honestly better than anything I had at the resorts. It felt like a true taste of local culture. Everything was well-organized, stunning, and full of great vibes. I highly recommend Lagoon Service Bora Bora, especially if you get Aro as your guide. It was one of the best parts of my trip!

We had the most wonderful experience with our tour and guide (Vatea). We loved swimming with the sharks and rays, and exploring the coral garden. The lunch was enormous, local, and delicious and many fish came to greet us again. Our guide was fun and a great yukulele player and singer. He knew every corner of the island and his love for it was palpable. This is a family business and everyone chips in—feels very genuine. A truly unique and fun experience! We highly recommend it. Muruuru Roa!
