Western Australia for the Food Is the Next Great Food Lover's Destination
"Ben Jacob, trained in London and Perth, opened a bluffside restaurant overlooking a sweet point break and says, "It's one of the iconic spots." The operation is genre-fluid: an upstairs dining room offers an unstuffy version of elevated coastal seafood cuisine for dinner, downstairs serves casual lunch, and breakfast is dispensed from a walk-up kiosk. A standout memory was the chilli-crab omelette — "a fistful of crab meat wrapped in a golden-egg envelope, showered with foraged greens and minced herbs, and lubricated with a fire-engine-red sauce" — enjoyed on a bench with a view while an envious seagull watched." - Kevin West

20 years ago, there was a cafe on this site that did the best Aussie burgers. Just what you needed after surfing a WA reef for the first time in your life. That’s now gone, as Yallingup has gentrified. But this little place still ensures you can get your post-surf feed. We enjoyed top drawer takeaway milkshakes at a busy time. Fair play.

Chips say they are gluten free (gf) on the board however when asking staff they were not. However the kind girls assured me that the toasties are celiac safe.

We stopped by Lagoon Restaurant for a Saturday lunch by the beautiful coastline and it totally hit the spot. The waitress was kind and attentive, and her wine recommendations were spot on.
The oysters were amazing — fresh and tasty on their own and also great with the interesting sauce options . We also loved the prawn toast and the red snapper, which was cooked perfectly.
Awesome food, lovely service, and great vibes. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a delicious lunch today, scallops, prawn toast, cod, pink snapper, lemon meringue tart and hazel nut cake. Pink snapper was our favourite, but the other dishes were excellent. Lovely service, great background music and everything beautifully presented.

Saturday: One of the best coffees we've had but.. 24 hours later and, unfortunately, the grommets dropped the ball on Sunday, very slow and coffees were a 5/10 at best.

Have enjoyed many a meal at Lagoon, the menu is curated to perfection. Cost wise, I couldn’t find better value accounting for the quality of the local produce and stunning locality of the restaurant.
Lagoon is definitely one of my favourite places to frequent regularly, amazing to have such a quality place in the area!
The food is presented beautifully and flavours inspired globally! Definitely recommend for all in the area!
