Hotel quality meets the price. It is a rather small hotel, with a five minute walk from the beach. Gym is small, but there is all the essential equipment for a good workout. Breakfast is good, there are many choices. Room is standard size and it is really clean. Soundproof is poor, we could hear everything from the other rooms. Customer service is quite fast, they gave us extra towels immediately. Would be nice if the reception was located so, that they see the guests coming and vice versa. Now the staff is sitting behind the desk and the eye contact is missing. This time of the year the pool area was quiet, to my taste it could be quite noisy in the summer season.

Staying at this hotel was wonderful. We had a beautiful ocean view room with our own private jacuzzi on our balcony. The staff were fantastic, especially the evening front desk gentleman and the 3 gentlemen at the pool bar. They went out of their way to help us. |The hotel is small and beautiful, felt like a boutique hotel. The breakfast was also generous and delicious. |Nice 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach with chairs and umbrellas for rent. |Not one negative thing to say about this lovely hotel.

This hotel is away from the city center but the locality is quiet with a sea view. The service is great at this hotel and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options, they also provided hot and freshly prepared options from their egg menu for breakfast. The rooms were clean but the furniture was old for example the sofa in our room was quite old and there were no accessible plugs for charging. The beach is hardly 0.5km away from the hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights in October. We liked the location - could walk to the beach and to the Old Town area of Lagos. The breakfast buffet was just fine - I personally would have liked a few more hot items but there was lots of food and it was fresh and tasty. Rooms and common areas were clean. Staff was friendly - all except for the woman at the front desk when we arrived. She was beyond rude - and not just to us, also to other employees at the hotel. Learned in talking with other guests that she was rude to them as well. We didn't eat supper at the hotel - found a local pub about 10 minute walk away and ate every supper there. It was really good food, the locals were fun to visit with and the price was great.

Location - less than 5 min drive from downtown Lagos. Quiet area, which was lovely. Not much around for restaurants and no grocery/convenience within walking distance. Free parking right at the hotel entrance. If you don’t have a car, Uber downtown is only about €5. Easy walk to Praia de Porto de Mós which was a beautiful beach and not very crowded. Lovely cliffs on either side. You can walk up from there to the trail on the western cliff which leads to the Fisherman’s Trailhead. Lovely views from up there. ||Staff - all of the staff we encountered have been very friendly and helpful. Zero complaints||Food - no full dining room-style restaurant on site for lunch or dinner but they do serve food from the pool bar and there is tables to eat there. We didn’t order any food from there so I can’t comment on that. Breakfast is included in the room rate and they have a beautiful breakfast room. Breakfast had a great selection of things - pastured, breads, fruit, yogurt, cereals, cheeses, meats, spreads, coffee/tea/juice. They have a few hot items in a chafing dish but you can also order your eggs prepared as you like and brought to your table. Breakfast is from 8:00-11:00||Facilities - there is a gym, but we didn’t go in there so no comments. Same for the massages that are available. The pool is outside and lovely but it is not heated. We were there third week of October and it was not hot enough outside to go in an unheated pool. Either heating the pool or having a hot tub would be a huge plus for me in recommending or rebooking this hotel. The pool area was very nice and clean and lots of loungers. Lobby was very pretty and clean and always smelled nice. ||Room - we had a family duplex room, with pool access. It was a 2 level room (basically 2 identical hotel rooms with a set of interior stairs). Bottom floor had one large bed and upstairs had 2 twins. It was great with our kids (who are 12 and 15) because they had their own space in the evenings. The stairs however are not the safest because they are like a polished stone (which can be slippery) and the run of the step (depth) was very short so easy to overstep when you are walking down. If our kids were small we would have had to put them downstairs. Beds and linens were super comfy and rainfall showerhead was one of the nicest I’ve used. |Overall - lovely hotel, very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Great breakfast and we liked the quiet location. Would stay again.

This hotel was beautiful. So comfortable and the staff is completely amazing. From front desk staff who were knowledgeable about Lagos and area to Amin in the breakfast restaurant and pool bar who recommended off the beaten path locations that were stunning. A 10/10 for location to the beach, things to do, restaurants and just absolutely beautiful and welcoming people. Will return!

Neat , clean hotel. 1km walk ( bit uphill ) to Ponta da Piedade board walk. Breakfast was more than sufficient. |Nice large rooms and bathroom. |But removed from restaurants and the action , but Uber was a few Euros to get you to town. The pool looked inviting but surprisingly cold.

Lagos Atlantic Hotel provided an exceptional week-long stay for our family in a splendid duplex room with direct pool access. The pool area offered excellent drinks and great food, and the breakfast was fantastic. The hotel’s proximity to the beach was an added bonus. The staff was remarkably professional and friendly, ensuring our experience was nothing short of perfect. Without a doubt, a clear five-star experience.

Yelp
Clean hotel. Mediocre massage. The worse was our hats got stolen at the breakfast buffet. We wouldn't go back there ever.
