Because of its convenient location, Lagosmar hotel is the perfect choice for your stay in Lagos without breaking the bank. The rooms have plenty of character and the room walls and window provide enough noise insulation. We stayed in a ground floor room facing the street and we could barely hear a thing bar when the rubbish was being collected. The water pressure in the bathroom is good. The bed provides enough support without being too hard. There is plenty of space available in the built-in wardrobe. The staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient. 100% would go back here again.

We had a very pleasant 1 night stay. Staff was friendly and welcoming, hotel is a short walk to the city center. The rooms are a little dated but well maintained and spotless. Rooftop sitting area was a bonus with nice view of the city.

All I can say is I had one of the best nights sleep for a long time when in the Algarve. Perfect central location close to everything and with a courtyard location at the rear of the hotel I could not hear a thing, no traffic no bin lorries at 3am no late night revellers. Surrounded by restaurants local bar's and the old town I'd have no hesitation in coming back. Ps room 14 if your able to pick

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that my room was located right next to the reception, meaning I was constantly exposed to noise: conversations at the reception, people walking through the hallway, cars, and pedestrians on the street, since the room was on the ground floor. This made my stay very uncomfortable. When I asked later in the day if I could change to a room on a higher floor, the receptionist looked at me with disdain and responded in a condescending tone, saying they were fully booked, not only that day but for the following days as well, without even attempting to find a solution. What really bothered me was not the fact that the hotel was full, but the dismissive and rude attitude I received. I've never seen a room so poorly located right next to the reception, and I believe such a room should not even be offered to guests. I strongly advise against this hotel for anyone seeking a peaceful stay.

This is an absolutely HORRIBLE hotel with ZERO customer service! There isn't even a manager at the hotel to address any issues. You are given the run around of an email address and finally a phone number for a "manger at another location" and that number isn't answered by anyone. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM AT THIS HOTEL for any reason. Stay anywhere else but here. No wonder their website says they're a 2 star hotel. Maybe if they had a clue about service and hospitality they could improve. It seems they're proud and content to be a low ranked hotel with a clueless staff at every level.

I did not stay here but I wanted to give the receptionist, Patricia, a shout out. We were locked out of our Airbnb at 11 am and came in to see if they had leftover rooms available. Patricia was so kind and made a few calls on our behalf to get our door open. We would’ve been left out in the cold with two children and one elderly if it hadn’t been for her. Thank you, Patricia. Lagos is filled with better memories because of you!

Reconsider your place of staying, room smelled so bad when you first enter the room you smell toilet or worse, room service opening the door at 9 am without even asking, seeing us with towels, didn’t even close the door, kept asking if we want room service, and we said NO, then we left the hotel came back only to see that they came in and did room service putting all our private stuff away even though we said NO! One of the two towels we got was dirty and we had to ask them to change it. It is so loud that it gives the vibe of a hustle, only you pay 10 times more. We tried to cancel the stay, and they just said No, because simply the manager apparently said no, without even trying to call us or ask us for the reason. And lastly, the room we got is different than what the picture was for a superior room on the website! Simply save your holiday and check other places.

Extremely welcoming reception staff. This property is very well located in the centre of town. The room was spacious with older but clean and well maintained furniture and appliances. The adjoining patio opened up the room for very enjoyable afternoons al fresco. Only two things missing were a fridge and a safe.

Yelp
Great location and friendly staff but the room/amenities left a bit to be desired. It's a boutique little independent hotel so there is a bit of charm to it but depending on how much cheaper it is compared to other items, you could find better value elsewhere Location is great next to the marina and main town area in Lagos but the rooms are a bit antiquated: -Mold in the shower and in the non slip mat -thin walls, can hear people very clearly on the phone next door - Entrance to hotel is locked at night so you have to hope front desk person is there (they were pretty punctual most of the time)
