"Orange County’s first urban winery, Laguna Canyon makes award-winning wines right in town with premium grapes from Napa and Sonoma valleys. Guests can swing by the public tasting room for a range of different experiences, from traditional pours of signature and reserve wines to red wine tastings directly from the French oak barrels. Complete with 62 barrels, a wine press, a bottling line, and an intimate view of the working winery, the tasting room makes for a fun, educational place to spend a few hours downtown. It’s also available for private events upon request."

Came in for the Napa at the bar experience. Had a great time. It was very interesting to try different locally made wines, hear story behind each and be guided through the tasting process. Great wine and great time. Was one way to spend weekend afternoon with friends.

Google
Tried the Napa Valley Wine passport the last two years and I can say without a doubt this has been the best wine experience I have had. J.J Huber has been such and amazing host with great knowledge on wine making process and great background to all his successful wine blends. Can't wait to come back the vibe is amazing with some great 80s Rock and Roll.

Google
We had an amazing time at Laguna Canyon Winery’s All Red Tasting Journey. It started with a refreshing glass of California Rosé sparkling wine and a brief video about the winemaking process. The charcuterie board paired perfectly with the premium wines. The staff was knowledgeable, the setting cozy, and the tasting experience was well-paced and educational. I’d highly recommend this to any wine lover, especially if you’re into bold, complex reds. Great value and a great selection — we'll definitely be back! 🍷

Google
We tried the regular wine tasting option this afternoon. I loved the ability to dispense my own wine selections through the machines in either 1, 2, or 5 ounce portions so I could sample as many wines as I desired. As a red wine fan, I especially enjoyed the Grenache. Be sure to check this place out!

Came with my husband, son and his wife and had a lovely afternoon wine tasting at Laguna canyons. Cole made us a terrific charcuterie board. He was informative about the wine when we arrived. The wines were delicious. Very pleasant experience.

JJ was phenomenal in his knowledge about wine and pairings. 100% would recommend if you love wine and a good time.

Google
I had a fantastic experience at the Laguna Beach Winery tasting room! The atmosphere was inviting and vibrant, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Cole, our host, was amazing—his knowledge of the wines and the winemaking process truly enhanced our visit. He was not only informative but also incredibly kind, making us feel right at home. I highly recommend this winery to anyone looking for a delightful tasting experience!

Google
We had a great time and would definitely recommend this winery if you’re interested in not only tasting really delicious wine in Laguna, but also learning about the wine making process. JJ gets his wine from Sonoma and Napa and has a passionate process for making great wine. I purchased some of the Grenache to be shipped to Texas. ❤️❤️🍷🍷

Yelp
Ambiance: The music videos of ROCK are my favorite and so unique as I've never seen this before at a winery. I prefer it over the quiet music in a tasting room, plus this music matches the energy that the owner, JJ, brings when you walk in this place. Wine: Cuvée, Syrah (both Reserve and Non Reserve), and Due Viti Sangiovese/Cab, are my Favorites. JJ personally picks his own grapes from the Sonoma valley and nearby and drives them back down to OC and does the wine process in OC. Very good wine! You can go at your own pace with his wine machine set ups, and you get a wide variety to choose from.

Yelp
One of the best intimate experiences we've had. JJ was so kind and thorough with his information regarding his wine. You can tell his passion and love through the taste of his wine. My partner and I will return soon.

Yelp
Spontaneously stopping by this winery was an absolute delight! It turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. The experience of tasting a variety of wines, each with its own distinct character, was nothing short of exceptional. The staff's knowledge of winemaking, paired with their passion, made each sip a journey into the art and craft behind every bottle. From the subtle notes of fruit to the rich complexity of the reds, every wine felt like a discovery. And the customer service? Impeccable--warm, welcoming, and attentive. It's an experience I would highly recommend to any wine lover or curious passerby!

Yelp
JJ is great and he is definitely an enthusiast. He drives the truck and brings the grapes from Napa and Sonoma. Thats called dedication. He will show you a video of his process when you sit down for wine tasting. He also has 80s rock music/music video playing on his big screen. Inside the place was clean and love the little wine pouring machines he has. He goes from whites to reds left to right. JJ said he is one of the not many wineries that crushes their own grapes and he has a machine inside the store. He also drank with us as the day we went was quiet Tuesday. He said he changed his souvenir glasses that comes with Groupon deal to bigger size as the smaller one was braking easily so he upgraded. He also has crackers and cheese you can purchase with your wine tasting. Also has pretty descriptive wine lists on the table. We ended up purchasing a bottle to bring home. Lot of their reds they have tasted little dry for me so I ended up bringing Moscato home.

Yelp
Cool experience with the automated tasting machines. Service wasn't the most welcoming or helpful. Tastings are $36 but more like ~$40/person if you're paying with card as they charge a credit card fee.

Yelp
Small quaint winery with self serving wine. It was my first time with girlfriends near the theatre and have driven by so many times. I opted for white wine which I preferred and purchased a cheese/cracker plate. It was a nice stop while heading to LB.

John K.

Yelp
The owner is very friendly and super knowledgeable. We paid to taste a number of wines and found most of them to be to our liking. We decided to purchase some wine and were taken aback by one of the forced tip screens at checkout. This is a wine bottle purchase and there is no reason to prompt and hover while a decision is made for a tip. Do we now start to tip on retail purchases? Further, there was a 4% credit card fee for using a credit card. So, now we are charged to use a credit card? Who carries enough cash to purchase expensive bottles of wine? We no longer felt like we were "family" sharing the wine tasting experience. We now felt manipulated and fleeced. I will enjoy our wines but not be returning for future experiences.

Yelp
i enjoyed "The premium wine and barrel tasting experience." The usual "a la carte" self tasting option seemed fine and lovely but really wanted to enjoy the bubbly and the barrel options as well as a curated experience. Much to my surprise the wine owner was present. He's also the wine maker. Boy, we were in for a solid treat. We toured the space, learned how and why things were done the way they were and enjoyed a charcuterie to boot. I think the best part was that the wine was good, like actually excellent. As I learned the process and listened to the story I really fell in love with what makes this wine taste so good. I would come back to sip more and enjoy their chef wine paired meals. So so good.

Rory V.

Yelp
It's OK. Not sure about the super wow reviews? Maybe I've been to too many wine tastings at actual wineries? I will recommend STAY AWAY GROUPON! I bought a few "worth $58" Groupons which upon arrival gave me credit for $36... which is what I paid Groupon. I asked the person working there how much it would cost me to purchase $36 of credit on the spot... He said $36 dollars. In fairness, I guess it covered some tax and the apparent "extra" credit card charge Laguna Winery apparently adds but in no way $58 worth. I know no consumer is going to go broke. I just really get annoyed with companies that are intentionally deceitful and false advertise like Laguna Canyon Winery and Groupon. I don't want to pick on the winery but if you doubt how bad Groupon has become please check out https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/groupon.html?#reviews

Yelp
Amazing experience with a very knowledgeable sommelier at this location. The amount of knowledge the owner has is incomparable paired with nothing but delicious wine. Definitely worth the experience and the drive.

Yelp
Not a friendly atmosphere, staff is very unwelcoming. I do not want to believe it's a race thing but treatment was very different. No board was provided for our cheese and ham. No eye contact, felt ignored. All my friends felt the same. However, the wine is excellent. If service was different, this place would be worth 100%.

Yelp
Laguna Canyon Winery is my favorite now; this wine is absolutely incredible! The barrell tasting experience exceeded my expectations: JJ is an amazing host (shout-out to Christina as well!). You can see how JJ's passion and knowledge create magic. We started off with the most lovely sparkling rose while learning more about the winery and winemaking process. I couldn't believe the number and variety of wines we got to try, along with a delightful charcuterie board. This has set a high bar for wine tasting now and I feel a little sad thinking back on other experiences and how they pale in comparison. I thought I might leave with maybe two bottles; I left with two BOXES. I am so excited to come back with EVERYONE I KNOW. If you like wine, you have to go here.

Yelp
From Chicago, and I'm no wine connoisseur, but my daughter wanted to go wine tasting on her graduation day! She picked LCW, and we called to find out how it works. We ended up buying a card for each of us ($25) that gives you credits you can use to try different wines. My wife and I got there early and met a couple from Phoenix who bought us another card on their way out : ) When my daughter and her friend arrived, we had a blast trying the different wines. The Chaparral ended up being our favorite! The girl running the store gave my daughter a free wine glass for graduation. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Came to Laguna Canyon Winery to celebrate my birthday with a group of 10. We did the premium wine tasting option and it was one of the best wine tasting experiences I've had. Our wine tasting included a variety of wines, charcuterie board, a 6 minute video showing us the process of wine making there, and thorough explanations from the owner with each wine we tasted. Our group had the BEST time! The owner is the coolest guy with such a passion for what he does. We all loved each wine and jamming out to 80s rock music!

Yelp
I'm drunk on the best wine I've ever had while posting this review, and it's all Laguna Canyon Winery's fault. That's a good thing. I'm just glad I have an Uber standing by. Ole!

Jeff G.

Yelp
I stopped by to check out the winery last week and had amazing wines and a great experience. The wines are all excellent as the grapes are sourced from Sonoma County, Paso and other great wine regions. Cole was working that day and he was very knowledgeable about the wines and just fun to hang out with. Highly recommend this winery, it's one of a kind in Orange County.

Yelp
This place is so cute and we really enjoyed the experience. The concept of it is so unique so I am not sure what people are complaining about because I love the self service option. J J was so welcoming and he gave us really great information about the wines and his process. The Tawny Port was delicious! I think this was such a good experience and a nice day date experience. We will be coming back! Follow their IG page or website they have such cool events! The owner was great so shout out to you J J for making it an awesome first time!

Yelp
I was driving by with my friend coming back from seeing a play in Laguna Beach when we stumbled upon Laguna Canyon winery. Because I love wine so much, I decided to stop and try some of the wines. I ended up being there for 3 1/2 hours and I tested 18 different ones. They were only two I didn't like, which could be a problem because I orders many Bottles and joined the wine club. Enough said, obviously I love the wines that's why I join the wine club. JJ, the owner rocks!!

Yelp
A group of friends and I stopped in today for a tasting. The wines themselves were good. They have a menu book that's relatively informative. I'm used to the staff explaining a little bit about the wine your tasting as they pour, we didn't quite see that here. They have whites, reds, red reserves, and then bubbly and dessert wines. It's $2 per 1 ounce tasting and $4 per reserve 1 ounce tasting. And if you buy one bottle they knock off $10 of your tasting fee. I really liked their brut and a purple paw red wine. I am only giving 3 stars, as the man that did our tasting was kind rude. He made snide comments to us as we were there and didn't quite make us feel welcome when we first got there. Another staff member came out towards the end and gave us our last two pours, he was very nice!

Lori D.

Yelp
We were grateful to do a wine tasting with JJ, the owner. What a great guy- friendly, knowledgeable and patient and kind to answer my questions. JJ gave us a brief tour of his operations. His tasting room is wonderful and if we lived here I would want to use his venue for my next birthday celebration. His wines are excellent and award-winning. I'm pretty sure we will be joining his wine club.

Kristen K.

Yelp
Fabulous selection. We had a blast with staff and the owner, JJ. Absilutely Delightful.

Yelp
Little known winery right off Laguna Canyon Road. For just $2 a sample they have whites, reds, sparkling, and dessert wines to try. (For every bottle you buy they waive $10 worth of tastings) While we were not too impressed with the quality of wine, especially for the price per bottle, there was 1 red and the brut sparkling that caught our attention enough to purchase a few bottles. It was fun to try this little place and hear about their wine, just not sure we will be back with other better wineries in the OC area.
google avatar

Katherine A.

Yelp
Great wine and such knowledgeable staff! Really took their time to explain each wine and cute location and decor.
google avatar

Jan M.

Yelp
Ok so there have been some changes to the tasting room here but all for the better. They have the new drink pour machines but the big thing is they are going with a large variety of unfiltered wines and I took home at least 13 bottles the last time I was in. Their '16 Reserve Sonoma Petite Sirah is killer. Highly recommend you stop by for a tasting and it's right off of Laguna Canyon Road.
google avatar

Yelp
Purchased wine tasting package through Groupon for two and really enjoyed it. It was a short trip and totally worth it! Groupon deal included 10 tasting, so 5 for me and 5 for my husband. Also, included three bottles of their delicious wine! Unfortunately, we can't pick out which bottles BUT still a great deal! The two workers were great! Crackers and cheese were not included with Groupon, it costs $6 and that's still a great deal. We'll be back!
google avatar

Nicole C.

Yelp
Such an awesome little place for wine tasting. They give you a card and you basically choose and pour your own tastings by pressing a button!
google avatar

Romi S.

Yelp
underwhelmed, the wine was good but it's more like oc winemart, self serve machines, tiny portions... just didn't feel like a wine tasting ‍

Yelp
Came here past Friday night with a group of food and wine enthusiasts (EatNDrinkGeeks), for their 1st Friday of the Month Wine Tasting party from 6-9pm every month. Well, maybe not every month, but check the events calendar from their website http://www.lagunacanyonwinery.com/winery-events It was surprisingly packed. Outside parking was difficult to find as they share a lot with what looks like a car repair shop. Once inside, you can get 10 tastings of 1 ounce pours and appetizers and hot food with no place to put your food. But you know what? I loved it here because the people here were super nice and Marlowe is super passionate about his award winning wines. They've won numerous awards from the OC Fair. http://www.orangecoast.com/winedudes/orange-county-wineries-explore/ They were serving whites on left side and reds on the side closer to the street. I am more particular to the Reds here because I love my Cabs. So I was able to taste their '12 Cab, the 4 blend, 5 blend, 7 blend, the syrah, and the cab syrah. Taste wise, I personally like big, bold fruity flavors with some oak but not too overpowering. So without going into too much detail and sounding like a wine snob, I liked the 7 blend and the 4 blend the best here. It's like tasting an Anejo and a Reposado if this was tequila as the 7 was a bit smoother and the 4 was a bit younger but you can taste all the profiles. The people behind the counter were super nice and hilarious. I got to meet Leann and Denise as they were pouring the white wines. Their Russian River Canyon Cuvee is quite nice, slightly dry, not sweet, and great on the nose with punch of fruit. Super easy to drink, probably best now. They do all the blending in house I believe. There was a sign right above the entrance way stating they bring grapes from all over the place into here. The barrels inside the tasting room are real with wine fermenting away. They do have a small water dispenser, which is my only gripe here. Definitely not big enough! If you buy a wine during the event, you get to keep the etched glass. Background wise, there was live music from Saeed Marandi. It was a fun time with fellow friends over wine. This place is definitely worth checking out when you're in the area like for SawDust down the street.

Yelp
Did a wine tasting here yesterday and had a great experience! We enjoyed talking with winemaker and owner Marlo, and learning about their wines. They have small snacks for available purchase, which was nice. You can customize your tasting by adding more pours. Definitely recommend checking this place out! Bonus: parking was not an issue as they have their own lot.

Yelp
Nice little tasting room close to the shops in Laguna. Wine was excellent! Owner was very friendly and the service was great.

Yelp
A great place to visit when in laguna Beach. Reservations are recommended on the weekends. Great vibe and the wines arec really great. Marlowe the owner hearts you when you arrive. Nice selection of cheese and crackers to go worth your wine selections. They are orange counties first organic wineries. Enjoy stopping by for tasting , and monthly events when covid restrictions are over.

t h.

Yelp
This is not a winery at all but a tasting room. It's pretty low on atmosphere even as a tasting room. I would skip it if I had a chance for a do-over. They also have the wine in a soda dispenser type thing. It's pretty fast food-ish.
google avatar

Yelp
My wife and I had a date night (away from the kids) and stopped by here and we were really impressed. We went in at the end of the day and had the tasting room to ourselves. Patrick was very helpful and knowledgeable about wine and the business. Super great guy and he definitely taught us a lot. The wine we tasted (mostly reds) where VERY good. If they still offer the Groupon, take advantage of it. It was an excellent deal. Thank you Laguna Canyon Winery for kicking off our date night before enjoying the amazing restaurant (Nicks) down the road. We will came back soon. Thank you, From your happy customers from Cypress.

Yelp
My boyfriend surprised me by taking me to Laguna Canyon Winery on a Sunday afternoon. Let me start by saying that it completely exceeded my expectations. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner, Marlow, who was absolutely AMAZING! He is so knowledgeable and outright an outstanding winemaker. All the wines were delicious, the Petite Syrah was my absolute favorite. Do yourself a favor an visit the Laguna Canyon Winery, you will not regret it!

Yelp
We made an unexpected stop, after driving past this place for many years, heading to-and-from Laguna Beach! The interior is quaint and comfortable, offering a small main bartop and a few tasting tables. I will say that service can make-or-break it for me; regretfully, the service we received here was among the least friendly we've ever experienced ...anywhere (I question why I tipped her; however, it was then that we received a smile). She did not share her knowledge or offer any information on the selected wines -- she was strictly there to pour. Unlike some wineries in which one is charged a flat fee for a certain number of tastings (for example: $15 for 5 tastes) Laguna Canyon charges $2/taste for the majority of their offerings and $4/reserve wines. They offer a decent selection to choose from, including sweeter varietals, for those seeking such. Glad to have experienced another local winery and finally check this one off my list.

Yelp
Booked a winery tour for my bday and Laguna Canyon Winery was our first stop. I enjoyed the wine tastings and staff was great! The lady that was serving us the wine was very sweet and took some great group pictures of us! I really appreciated that!

Yelp
THE TASTING ROOM One of the nicest tasting rooms with wall-to-wall barrels and industrial stuff in a classy, uncluttered layout. Nicely air conditioned. I have mixed feelings on being ushered from the unused bar to share a corner bar, which was far less comfortable but made it more social. Chilled water to drink. Mmm, townhouse crackers keep getting refilled! THE LOCATION Deep within the fire-baiting canyon, exiting is like trying to enter a double dutch jump rope session. THE SERVERS Excellent. Friendly, attentive, vivacious and informative without the overkill. THE VALUE Unbeatable with a Groupon, Amazon Local Deal, Pennypinch, CheapSkater, or ScroogeMcDeal (OK, I made up those last three) THE METHOD You get a menu covered in plastic and a dry erase marker- this method is not only the most "green", but also the most fun. You can rank your wines, play Tic Tac Toe, or draw a picture of the lady on the corner with the lip job. THE WINE 1. The Sangiovese (Wente) is EXCELLENT, lightly tart and highly drinkable. 2. The Reserve Cab (Coppola) is EXCELLENT, full-bodied with a punch. 3. The Petite Verdot (Plum Ridge) is good, complex but light. 4. The Gewurtztraminer is an incredibly drinkable white, goes down like water. Sorry, but the Raspberry Sparking is like drinking an Alka-Seltzer dropped in perfume. This wine somehow won an award. I'm thinking it must have been like when Carrie somehow won Prom Queen, like that kind of award.

Yelp
So wonderful! Bought an amazon local deal for 2 branded glasses, 10 tastings (5 x 2oz of any wine on the menu) and 3 bottles of wine that supported a local puppy shelter and it was awesome. The winery is located directly across from the Laguna art school so when coming from the freeway, once you start to see the school signs on your right slow down and get in the middle lane so you can make the left without causing a traffic jam or getting rear-ended. Google maps takes you straight there its just tough to know exactly which driveway - there is a sign that says "WINERY" but if I didn't know it was coming, I would have missed it for sure. Loved the different selections and it was so great to chat to Juliet (I think that was her name? It was a little noisy) who told us all about the process. The grapes are from up north and they are frozen and sent south and everything this done there at the winery - crush, barrel, bottle - EVERYTHING is done here and I just love that! Beautiful barrels line the walls and there are lots of standing bars and tables - no chairs so beware for your group. I brought my Grandma and I wish I could have had a stool for her but apparently there is a law that doesn't allow any seating because that would lend the place to be more of a bar and that kind of establishment is not allowed on that portion of the street... apparently? Just consider yourself warned... I don't mind standing and honestly neither did my grandmother but we may have stayed longer and tasted/spent more $ if we were more comfortable... oh wellz! :( We tried the sparklings, an interesting smokey red, some pino noir and a few blends... I loved being able to look at the menu and see which had won awards and read a bit of history on them. Wine tasting is so fun and I love the small commitment involved in 2oz pours! My grandma just kept talking about how much she loved the champagne that we tasted first so I bought her one hoping to be able to add some $$$ to the bill for tip but there wasn't the option... she said they didn't have the capability for that :( bummer! There is no food served so just be warned... they have some little tiny crackers in a wine glass on the bar but I so wish they had other light bites. A fabulous way to start your date night or girls night... I will be back for sure!

Yelp
We decided to come here on a whim due to Groupon. Best deal and great service. Patrick the wine operations man was knowledgeable and super friendly. Wine was great red. Trevini was excellent. Would recommend for those that love wine.

Yelp
Just recently went here for my 25th birthday with a group of girls. It was a very fun experience with a homey environment. Would recommend for those who want a fun wine tasting day indoors.

Yelp
I purchased two of the Yelp deals several months ago and was vacationing in the area so I had invited some friends to join me. We arrived after brunch in the early afternoon and was surprised to be the only people wine tasting. The winery does not have any vineyard on site but only manufactures the wine in house from grapes purchased elsewhere. My favorites tastings were the Chardonnay, Cabernet and I ended up selecting the bottle of 2006 Wyland Syrah. I didn't join their wine club but we had fun with the tastings and met another couple who was tasting also. The counter to taste is quite small and can handle only up to only 6 to 8 people. Darren our host was informative and friendly.

Yelp
My boyfriend brought me to Laguna Canyon Winery for a very exclusive, private, and fancy Valentine's Day dinner event. The entire dinner was three hours long with four courses that included wine pairings. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly! I love how they even incorporated wine into some of their dishes. All the servers were attentive and polite and I felt like a very welcome guest here. Overall, the entire dinner was fantastic and the winery did a great job of creating a romantic atmosphere that included candle lights, a saxophone player, and many glasses of wine. Needless to say, I think my boyfriend spent a very pretty penny for this special event and it was quite a memorable Valentine's Day. :)

Yelp
Go somewhere else! Do you own a dog? Turn back. Do you hate snobby wine bartenders? Take your business elsewhere. As many of my friends know, I absolutely never write bad reviews. I am the kind of person who will always allow someone the benefit of the doubt to having a bad day or the business shouldn't suffer because of something that could have been off that day, however this will be my first bad review in the many many years of being an avid YELP user. My mother moved out to Laguna over two years ago and every time we passed by the Laguna Canyon Winery we would say "HOW HAVE WE NOT BEEN THERE YET!?". We are both wine lovers and absolutely love the experience of meeting great people, telling great stories and sharing a glass of wine. Well, the day finally came where we were celebrating a wonderful occasion and we couldn't wait to go in and enjoy some wine in a place we thought would end up being a regular stop for us. Wow were we wrong! I walked in with my Mother, girlfriend and service dog with big smiles on our faces and ready to continue the amazing day we were having. The very first words to us was the bartender yelling abruptly at us over the crowd of 11 people at his bar that "that dog would have to stay in the car!". No hello welcome, no smile, no come on in. He couldn't even come over and speak with us privately? He had to yell it so everyone stopped what they were doing and stared? I very politely said "oh its ok. She is a service animal, she will be right at my feet at the bar." He then replied that it doesnt matter ABSOLUTELY NO DOGS! Leave her in the car and then we could come in! (also it was a 100 degrees outside so ummm NO. He must have known that wasnt an option) At this point he was causing a scene as I tried to nicely, calmly explain we are just here to celebrate and have a glass of wine. I kept my tone and attitude chipper so I wouldnt ruin the experience of the day for my mother and friend as well. The bartender then got louder and said "well let me see the papers". Well, even though we had them in the car, I was NOW MORTIFIED. Everyone in the bar was watching and staring. Even giving me looks like, we are so sorry this guys is being awful! I just looked at him, clearly upset at this point and said thanks for nothing. Its also NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS why I have to have a service animal. In fact, it is illegal to ask. We will never be back! I did call a few days later to speak to a manager and she was as pleasant and wonderful as could be. She was extremely apologetic for this bartender and seemed like a genuine and wonderful person. If I were to write a review about her it would be 5 stars and wish her the best in business. However this site is about our experiences and this is something that I still find appalling. I did try to wait a few months before writing just to make sure I wasn't reviewing out of anger. Just go somewhere else. There are plenty of dog friendly wine bars or places you can go enjoy a cocktail!

Yelp
I bought an excellent Groupon for $39 that included 10 tastings between 2 people, two etched wine glasses, and 3 bottles of wine. I decided to cash in on it yesterday afternoon around 3. There was one other couple in the bar when we walked in (party of 2). We were warmly greeted by the man at the counter. The inside is simple and small. They have wine barrels along one wall, which I thought was a nice touch. For your tastings, they give you a book describing the wines with plastic pages and an erasable marker with which to make notes about the wines you're tasting. Every wine that we tasted, we enjoyed. Some stood out especially, such as the Purple Paws Chardonnay, the Pinot Noir, and the 7 Barrel Red, amongst others. Their Cab was especially smooth and rich. I wanted to further support their business and buy a bottle, but my bank account urged me otherwise. However, their wine club is a great deal- $40/month with the $40 going toward your wine purchases. Think of it as part of a savings club, setting money aside for your future purchases. You don't have to buy monthly; the money can be saved up for a larger purchase. All in all, I am writing this review enjoying my 2nd glass of their Late Harvest Zinfandel. I plan on returning to: firstly, take my mom to a tasting, and second, to purchase a bottle or two.

Yelp
Romantic trip not complete without wine tasting and we found this on Groupon! Whaaaat, a deal on Groupon for a great winery! WIN- WIN. It's also great that we were taken care of by the staff. The first gentleman who poured for us often checked on us. The second gentleman, Patrick was a very friendly and informative host. They have lots of whites and reds to choose from, even a couple of dessert wines. We were teased by this secret stash that is not yet ready for sale. OH MY GOSH, this alone makes us want to come back to Laguna Beach! This is a must stop in spot. Don't miss it.

Yelp
Went here twice, once to check it out and paid for about 6 tastings (they're $2 each), and then one time went back with a deal I'd bought ahead of time that was running out, so I needed to use it.... In general their wines are worth trying, and if you're going to drink wine with dinner in Laguna this is a cheap stop and you can booze up ahead of time. Nothing says you can't still order a glass of wine or beer with your meal, but if you don't mind saving a buck and like good wine then why not come here also? If you use the *oupon it's a ridiculously good deal. Got 10 wine tastings, included in the price (our guy did 11-12 pours because we were the only ones there on a Thursday 5pm). In addition to that, you get 2 bottles of red wine to keep (one blend, one zin) and for your 3rd bottle, can pick between a red/white that supports pet causes, which isn't a bad one either. Then on top of that, they gave me the two etched wine glasses to take home. All for less than the price of one bypass surgery or DUI... I was so happy (not just from the wine, genuinely happy), I tipped the guy who helped us $10 without hesitation. He even "blended" a glass right in front of us, and told us this is the next one they're coming out with, going to be entered into a competition, but it wasn't bottled yet so he "made" it on the spot for us to try. Plus, 2 of their wines have recently won major awards at the largest wine festival, held annually at the Orange County Fair, which is reason enough to go. Recommend going with groups of 2-4 for optimal enjoyment. Hours are like 10-6. So be timely, they close before the sun goes down most days. Tip your bartender if they give you good service. and don't forget to dial a ride if you're a lightweight, or just to be safe!

Yelp
Patrick was so kind and knowledgeable! He showed us all the machines that they use to make and bottle the wines. He also took out photo (actually like 20) and was so nice about it. My friend and I had a really great time. And the wines are delicious!

Yelp
Bought a bottle of Chardonnay for my parents yesterday. Didn't get to really look around to much but the owner was plenty nice and he seemed very involved and excited to be running his winery, a pleasure to see!
