Nice spot, they take conservation seriously so you have to be quiet and you can’t get too close to the flamingos, so you ideally need a camera with a good zoom or binoculars to experience it the best. There’s a little walk you can do (400m), which most people miss as they want to go straight to the birds but you do get a second viewing point if you take this. Booking website is terrible however.

A very impressive lake with lots of birds to see including 3 different breeds of flamingos.

This is NOT the correct location to navigate. The correct location is : Centro turístico Laguna Chaxa. You have to buy your ticket online in advance or you can buy it at the entrance with your phone and they have wifi.

This Places comes into your mind when you speak about Atacama desert. Went there with a Tour since you need a 4x wheel for reaching this place. Spend there 45 minutes and the sun is burning, so protect yourself.

Fabulous reflections in this large salt lake. Great for photography. Plenty of flamingos and interesting salt flats surrounding the lake. Well planned paths so you don't ruin the landscape - or your feet! We took an organized minibus tour to this lake and it was good value and had a good guide.

Cool little lagun with 3 different flamigo species. Walking the site takes about 30-45 min depending on the time you take, you will be able to take plenty photos of the stunning scenary with the mountains and the flamingos

Incredible place where you can watch flamencos...many flamencos. There are clean bathrooms and the staff are really nice as well. During the track to the viewpoints, there are boards explaning the geography around and so on, which is really considerate.
