Lahaina Shores Beach Resort

We visited your fine resort 25 yrs ago. We want to come back to Visit. We were very sad to hear of the devastating news of the fire. Lahaina had so much history.

Stayed for a week in a first floor ocean view and the experience couldn't have been better for my wife and I. Two other family members stayed in mountain view rooms and had excellent experience as well. Photos do not do the rooms and grounds justice. The trees and lawn leading to the beach are beautiful and immaculate. Views of he ocean and nearby island are breathtaking, especially at dawn and sunset! The walk to town is short and quick. I was most impressed by the two full baths in our suite and fully equipped kitchen, which we used often to save on dining out. The rooms are beautifully furnished to reflect the beauty of island culture. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The proximity to the beach was perfect! We'll be back!

This hotel was located on the outskirts of town on Front Street. It was easy to walk through the lovely town of Lahaina before the fire. The room was spacious with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Huge sliding glass doors gave access to the balcony that was perfect for breakfast, lunch, or after dinner drinks. I hope the hotel is still operational and will be able to continue hosting guests in the near future.

Lahaina Shores Beach Resort was a great place to stay. Has a beautiful coastline view, even the other side of the hotel has a beautiful view of the mountain. It’s walking distance to tons shops and restaurants (and the famous Banyan Tree). Paia fish market was our favorite place to eat. I went snorkeling right out in front of the hotel and saw plenty of fish (even ran into a turtle). The city of Lahaina has more of a beach grunge vibe to it, which was fine with us (but not necessarily what we were expecting).

We stayed here for the first time. Room 523. Excellent room. All the furniture and appliances seemed brand new. The bathroom was amazing. Giant shower, seemed newly updated. The view of the ocean is second to none. We saw sea turtles and monk seals swimming right in front of the hotel. The pool and hot tub are nice and cleaned daily. The only thing I’d change is adding amenities like a small store with food and drinks like most hotels have. Not a dealbreaker by any means. We walked to bars and restaurants nearby. Perfect location.

Really enjoyed our stay. It isn't a quiet part of the street about 200 ft or south from the start of Lahaina. So everything is within close walking distance. Property has a nice pool and hot tub and a gate that leads to the beach about 30 or 40 ft from the door of the property. Super nice people that work the front desk. Kitchen has full size stove/oven fridge, etc. Hallway carpets are a tad worn, but other than that, great place to stay.

This is for all the Costco people out there. There are a few hotels that are much better options than this one for only 5 - 10% more. This isn't a resort but more like a Motel 6 on the beach. Some rooms have walk-in showers but showers are too small. You'll get water all over your floor. Convenient location and great service. However I definitely feel it is more of a 2 star hotel compared to 3. If you are booking this hotel individually, it might be worth it. However when I was looking through Costco, there were much better hotels for a few dollars more. I wish I went with that option instead.

The rooms were fabulous. We have visited this resort many times both through private owners and the resort itself. The location was beautiful. The staff including Alison who I called Oz because she could make almost every thing happen were amazing . I sure hope they are all safe from the fires . My heart breaks for everyone.
