Lahia Tented Lodge

Our stay at Lahia Tented Lodge was absolutely incredible — the most luxurious tented camp of our entire safari! The combination of comfort, style, and natural beauty made it an unforgettable experience. Our tent was stunning — spacious, beautifully furnished, and perfectly positioned with an amazing view right from our porch, where we watched breathtaking sunsets and wildlife passing by. The outdoor shower was a dream! We spent a relaxing afternoon by the pool, taking in the panoramic views and peaceful atmosphere, and every meal was exceptional, with delicious food and excellent service from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. We highly recommend Lahia Tented Lodge to anyone looking for a blend of luxury, tranquility, and adventure in the Serengeti — it’s an experience we’ll never forget!

We stayed here during our Serengeti Safari trip with our 2 year old daughter. The staff ensured we were comfortable and we had everything needed for our little one. They were extremely friendly and caring. We had a wonderful experience here overall. They cooked us some delicious vegetarian options throughout our stay! A big shoutout to the Manager Joyce, Whitney and all the staff for incredible hospitality! Thank you for all your help!

This was one of the nicest lodges we stayed at during our safari trip. The rooms are beautiful, incredibly spacious, and had all the amenities you could possibly need. Outdoor rain shower, hair dryer, outdoor deck with a beautiful view, and very comfortable beds. The main lobby area is beautifully made, and a great place to have meals and relax. The staff are attentive and so hospitable - they tended to our vegan diet and made sure we had plenty of food options. The infinity pool looks incredible, though we didn't get a chance to actually use it. Our only regret was staying there for just one night - after arriving around sunset following a day long game drive and leaving early in the morning for another game drive, we just didn't get enough time to enjoy the lodge. Would recommend staying here for at least 2 nights so you can properly enjoy the space.

The place is worth the money we payed. Everything is amazing. However the food can be improved. Be aware that showers are only outdoor which is not very practical especially if it’s raining.

We visited here on our African Safari trip to Kenya and Tanzania. This place was the best of all the other luxury tents and lodges we stayed at! This was the only tent that left us feeling we should have stayed here longer and we would definitely want to come back. The location, service, ambience and comfort here is incomparable! You can hear the lions roar throughout the night. The morning was beautiful! The staff goes beyond to make you feel comfortable. The showers are an open shower connected to the room but what a thrilling experience it was to take shower for a morning game drive while you hear lions roaring!

The Lahia Tented Lodge was a very special experience. The staff were so friendly and amazing, and the rooms were great! The only "tent" parts of the rooms are the screens facing the balcony and they provided great airflow into the rooms. The outdoor shower at sunrise was also very fun 🌞

The best part is showering outdoor under the sky full of stars lol. I love this hotel! Clean, great food, so close to the animals and can watch the sunrise in the morning

We stayed here one night on 25.7.24. However, it was the wrong season for seeing animals in Western Serengeti. Very comfortable, huge "tents", with all desired facilities, mosquito nets, drinking water filter, open to sky shower so you can bathe after a long day of safari under the twinkling stars. Very responsive, helpful, courteous staff in all departments - security, reception, housekeeping, restaurant, and kitchen. It also has a swimming pool but the water was too cold for a dip.We missed seeing the animals but enjoyed our stay here. We were delayed reaching here because our vehicle had to rescue another safari vehicle stuck in a quagmire so we missed a glorious sunset
