Dreamy lodge in a quiet setting with stunning views and a large pool – perfect for relaxing!
We spent three nights at Lahô Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful, with great views and modern, spacious bungalows. Each unit is equipped with air conditioning (the remote can be requested at reception), blackout curtains, and large, comfortable beds. With only a few accommodations on-site, the atmosphere is pleasantly quiet. The large pool with sun loungers is a particular highlight – towels are provided separately.
You can order food and drinks from the restaurant at any time during the day until 10 pm. The menu is small but perfectly adequate for a few days. Breakfast (served until 10:30 am) was the same every day, but generous and tasty.
However, the restaurant didn’t fully convince us. The price-performance ratio didn’t quite add up. The portions were relatively small, though flavorful. Water, in particular, is overpriced: a 1.5-liter bottle costs a hefty 60 dirhams. We recommend visiting the neighboring Tougya Ecolodges, where the same bottle costs just 20 dirhams and you can enjoy simple but delicious tajines for half the price. Alternatively, you can stock up in the nearby village, where a six-pack of 1.5-liter bottles costs about 30 dirhams.
One clear highlight: Lahô Lodge organizes activities without taking commissions. We booked a private quad tour through the desert – it was truly amazing!
We recommend organizing your transfer to the lodge independently, as their offer was significantly more expensive. We paid around 400 dirhams for a private transfer from Marrakech (and there are likely cheaper options out there).
The staff was always friendly, though they mainly speak French and Arabic. Communication in English was sometimes a bit challenging. When the owner was on-site – she speaks both English and German – the service felt noticeably more attentive, and breakfast was also a little better.
