This place is just as solid as it was 5 years ago. I came back tonight for the first time since before Covid and I was blown away by how the food had non only maintained quality but maybe even improved? Everything we had was incredible. Not to mention the staff was very kind welcoming and hands on. We were greeted by the manager as well asking how things were going. We ordered the Butter chicken, Nihari, garlic naan and white rice. Everything was OUTSTANDING but my favourite has to be the Nihari. Safe to say I will be back!!

Amazing food! Everything we ordered was delicious. The flavors were spot on, and the staff made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to go back!

Google
Loved it! We went 30 min before their closing hour but the staff was very warm and welcoming. Great customer service. Also the food is good portion size and flavorful. Reasonably priced. Definitely coming back here.

This place was recommended to me by a local. “Has the best Pakistani food” and they were correct. I really enjoyed having the chicken and beef kabobs with the rice. I will say if you can handle spicy maybe stay away from the beef kabob.

I had the lamb chops and kebab at this Pakistani restaurant, and both dishes were excellent. The lamb chops were juicy, well-marinated, and grilled to perfection with a nice smoky flavor. The kebab was tender and full of spices, just the right amount of heat. The portions were generous, and the service was warm and attentive. Definitely a great spot for authentic Pakistani cuisine.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lahore Tikka House truly delivers when it comes to authentic flavors! Their Lamb Biryani is absolutely outstanding — fragrant basmati rice, tender and perfectly spiced lamb, and just the right balance of flavors that make every bite a delight. The portion is generous, the quality is top-notch, and for the price, it’s absolutely worth it. If you’re a biryani lover, this is a must-try dish that won’t disappoint. Highly recommended!

So I was one of those guys who wrote this place off years ago. Decided to try it again after seeing the son promote this place on social media. Also had a chance to meet him, very nice guy! Let’s just say it is really good! The chaat papri, wow! Has a kick and very tasty. The chicken kabob with the red sauce and naan, incredible! Butter chicken was good (4/5). BBQ ribs were good, knowing that brown folks like it well done! 😂 Overall very good, and definitely try or retry this restaurant!

Always great coming back here! Consistent with their food throughout for several years now. Great for anyone and everyone looking for a tasty and delicious meal! Do ask for Afsana and she will take care of you!

Yelp
Excellent ribs and kebab. Excellent service. We we were several people in the table was a bit too small for us and they immediately added another table so we could be comfortable. We also had children with us and they made sure that the children's food was not too spicy. We came from the US and we have not experienced food like this over here so the best of luck on the reopening and I am hoping that your restaurant will be a great success as it deserves to be.

Yelp
Good service. Greasy and overpriced food. Ordered the butter chicken, Vegetable samosas, garlic naan and masala chai. The butter chicken came and was scorching hot, almost burned my tongue, and not mention its overly spicy. I can handle spice but i don't remember any other Indian restaurant serving spicy butter chicken . There were also pools of grease. Garlic naan was decent but not too flavorful. The samosas were greasy and cold in the middle and needed some sauce. The chai was the only thing i can't say anything bad about, other than that the service was good and the servers were extremely nice. This was all around 44 CAD which is pretty pricey. Maybe i should've ordered the kebabs instead. Also they bribe you for a good review for 5% off your meal... I didn't have the heart to give them 3 stars in front of their faces :/

Yelp
I wanted to love this place because I was craving Indian or Pakistani food. Unfortunately, I found the food too spicy and I ended up not fully enjoying my meal. Service was okay. Our waiter was slow. The other waiters were fine. I thought the channe were just okay- solid 7/10. Biryani in general is spicy but I felt this was over the top- 5/10 The chicken tikka was delicious - 10/10 Naan was way too crispy for my taste - 7/10 Gil gappe was amazing - 12/10 star of the show They don't have mango lassi, only mango shake, was slightly irritated by that because they had salty lassi. Too bad they were even out of the salty lassi.

Yelp
The food here is very flavourful, and got a kick of spice. Not featured on the photos, we also got a small veggie plate, which was super delicious. The only reason I bumped a start down was due to our waiter. He dropped waters spilling all over the table. We also ordered ribs and got lamb instead, which was fine. It still tasted good, but a little spicy for my mild tastes. He also forgot to bring out a second order of rice and garlic naan for the group of friends we were with. Despite all of this, the food tasted great. The portions are pretty big! On top of the food you already ordered, they come around with complimentary shishito peppers should you want some. For families with strollers: there's a giant sign at the entry which says you are not allowed strollers by your seat.

Yelp
Delicious food, always hot and fresh. Great service and so friendly. The ambiance is so nice and welcoming, fun and inviting. Best Indian/Pakistani cuisine. You gotta eat here.

Yelp
We tried their Gol Gappe (pic 1) which is a snack that is a fried puff that you fill with a mixture of potatoes and chickpeas and spices. These are super tasty and the kids had fun eating the puff balls. The mains were the Chicken Biryani which we've had several times before. It was actually one of the better versions we had, packed with chicken. The other was their Karahi Lamb (Curry) and doesn't look appealing but it was the sleeper hit. I love Lamb Curry in general but this was was really good y'all. The meat pieces were super tender and the dish was really tasty. Totally recommend. We also pigged out on Naan and Gulab Jamun. Overall we've had pleasant experiences here but it's like a treat coming here because it's more on the expensive side.

Yelp
This place may have served good food in the past; but has slowly detoriated in food quality and service over the years. We recently decided to go to Lahori Tikka House to eat and wow, we were shocked on how much worse it's gotten this year. We ordered ribs, lamb chops, kebab and daal. Upon ordering the chops and ribs, we requested that the kitchen make sure they can send everything out at once so our naan and daal don't get cold. The wait staff flatly refused and said that when the food is ready, it will come out. Our daal and naan actually came out 15 minutes early and it was terrible! We had to wait 15 minutes and everything was cold by the time the barbecue arrived. The lamb chops (which used to taste amazing) were also heavily disappointing - they changed up the spices they use for these chops and they didn't taste as good. The ribs were just straight burnt, no one even finished them because they were that bad. The kebab was good. The service and wait staff were actually just TERRIBLE and downright disrespectful. I was shocked. Our "server" was Mittal and I've dined at spots before with questionable service, but this waiter would actually IGNORE us and pretend she couldn't hear us while she walked by. The first two times she did it, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. By the third time, I was shocked. We wanted to order sodas, and I called her and she straight ignored me! I actually walked up to the front for every request after that (napkins, to go boxes, etc). I was so turned off. As someone whose worked in the food service and hospitality industry, I can confidently say this woman needs to take a lesson on waitressing and also basic human decency and respect. This restaurant left a bad taste in my mouth. It's tragic since our family have been loyal customers since the 90's. But today that all changed. We definitely won't be back. There are hundreds of better desi restaurants out there. This place is old news. Take your business elsewhere!

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Saturday. Place was busy! Waited about 10min...not bad consider the server told us the wait could be up to half an hour. Tried their specialty chai, which is only available on weekend. Creamy and spicy...with bits of almond in it. Had the large biryani. Plenty of leftovers to take home!! Also tried the mixed tikka, which was a good way to try all the different types of chicken. And of course, had the naan. Not the best I've had but decent. Overall interesting vibe and very friendly servers. Also recommend asking for chilies which are grilled and salted, then taken right off the spit for you!

Yelp
An absolute gem of an eating joint. I've dined as well as taken the trouble to drive all the way from Vaughan to pickup as well. Everytime I taste the food (Butter Chicken with Butter Naans, Chicken & Lamb Britain) I am left with a feeling of wanting more. For desserts we enjoyed the Kulfi Falooda, which were in my sister's words "exquisite". About the interiors, well there's nothing fancy. If you're coming here then make sure you're just here for the food and not the ambience, which isn't so bad but will do. The restaurant is located on Gerrard St what appears to be old Toronto now. It has very limited car parking infront of the restaurant. And judging by the popularity of this restaurant, be prepared to park your car in the nearby streets. Thank God for free parking:-) Apparently, the restaurant has a pretty strict operating hours Policy, they shut by 9:00pm on most days. So be prepared and Bon Appetit!

Yelp
What comes to mind when you think about Pakistani food? You might assume that it's pretty much the same as Indian food. Although there are certainly some similarities, I tend to describe it as more of an Indian/Middle Eastern hybrid, as you'll see influences from both cultures in Pakistani cuisine. Knowing that Pakistan is sandwiched between Iran, Afghanistan, and India tends to make all of the food pieces fall into place. And the best place to try it in Toronto? Lahore Tikka House in the Little India part of Leslieville is the undisputed choice. You Gotta Eat Here! featured them in their fourth season and blogTO has listed them as the #1 Best Pakistani Restaurant in the city. I visited on a Sunday evening and certainly the first thing that caught my attention is how massive their property is. The two storey building is huge, plus they have their own parking lot and an entire tented patio area. You cannot miss it. I love all of the motorized rickshaws that they have parked out front which really adds to the authentic and fun vibe of the place. It was a hot summer's day and we were seated on the patio. As such, I didn't see much of the inside of the restaurant but from what I understand, they have dining areas on both levels. The colours on the walls are jewel-toned and there are several beautiful murals decorating the space as well. The patio outside is draped in lovely sari-like materials. The restaurant feels nothing short of palatial. The menu is quite extensive and our friendly server was happy to help answer our questions. I was excited to try the special Kashmiri Chai that they make but was unfortunately informed that they didn't have any. Nor their plain chai. This was disappointing because a beautiful chai done properly is one of my favourite drinks. One of the first things that happened is a sword was brought around with flame-blistered green peppers skewered onto it. I wrongly assumed that these would be similar to shishitos... Instead these peppers were very, very spicy. I managed a few bites and couldn't continue! However, I loved this special touch. There is a cute part of the menu that serves up Lahori Street Food and I really liked the idea of this! Unfortunately, we had so many other dishes to order that we couldn't get anything from this section but I would love to on a future visit. Two sauces were delivered to our table; one hot sauce that tasted like it was based in tamarind and a cool yogurt sauce that was seasoned with warm spices. These were both delicious and perfect accompaniments to every other dish of the evening. First to arrive was our Butter Chicken (Boneless, red creamy sauce - $16.99) from the Karahi / Curries part of the menu. A karahi incorporates onions, garlic, ginger, chillies, tomatoes and garam masala spices. I was hesitant to order this because it seemed like such a "safe" and "typical" choice. But on the other hand, butter chicken is delicious so... Here we are. This dish arrived firey hot and spitting molten lava. The pieces of chicken were large and tender, truly bathed in sauce. The curry sauce was quite thick, which I liked, and it had a certain tang to it that I found to be enjoyable and unique. Probably not the best butter chicken that I've ever had but still a very good version. Of course we also visited the Tandoori Naans section of the menu because it would be wrong not to! This flat leavened flour bread is baked in a tandoor, a cylindrical clay oven. I could see the cook making it exactly this way through the window. Plain Naan ($2.89 each) seemed like the right choice because I didn't want any other flavours crowding out the other dishes. Although they do offer seven different types. At first we tried to order three of these but our server smartly advised that only two would be plenty. She was right! We could barely finish two because they were so large. Naan is used as a utensil and the diner rips pieces of bread off and uses it to pick up and eat the food on their plate. This version was very simple and uniform - maybe even a bit too perfect. I tend to prefer a less refined shape and a bit more chew to my naan but at the end of the day you can't go wrong with bread. Next up: Seekh Kababs, the restaurant's specialty. Known for its spice, we chose one Beef and one Chicken (Minced meat infused with coriander, ginger & garlic. Grilled on a traditional clay oven and served on a sizzling platter - $4.29 each). These certainly did arrive to our table sizzling profusely! I could tell that the meat had been formed onto a skewer, expertly crafted, and then cooked. Each kabab was extremely flavourful and bursting with delicious spice. Both types of meat were very good and I liked that we tried both for a bit of variety. This is the kind of item that you just get because you're going to want it. We needed rice (curries are always best eaten over rice) and I was finding our meal order to be a bit chicken-heavy. Our server suggested looking to the Biryani sectio

Yelp
Nice and warm place. You have to order and pay at the bar. The food is good but everything is at minimum mild. They can't do not spicy. So it was too spicy for me.
google avatar

Yelp
Every time I get kabab cravings, this has been my go to place for the past 15 years! What can I say their seekh kababs probably best in town. Pair it with butter naans = a very satisfying meal. Also they have a parking spot at the side which is very rare in that area. And their service is always good. I would highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Lahore Tikka has been my spot for over 15 years and I've eaten there at least 100 times. Every time I visit Toronto I drag everyone I know there. Sadly, I've seen it decline slowly since the founder passed to the point where it's basically a different restaurant. On my last visit they had no lamb curry, no beef curry, no roti, no chai, no peppers and no coke. The naan was considerably less good and the service was terrible. The prices have skyrocketed and the customers have vanished. What remained was a shell if its former self. Goodbye my old friend, you'll be missed.

Yelp
the good: - very gritty, family friendly and authentic (according to our Indian Uber driver: one of many Indian/Paki eateries on Girard Street - the smells were mouth watering - the energy of the place was infectious (pre-covid hahaha) - Beef shank stew - Chic peas tikka - Roti w/butter the not so good: - sadly, my pictures of our dinner did not survive :(

Yelp
Fathers Day Dinner! Great place with good atmosphere! We ordered Chicken Tikka Biryani, Hara Chicken, naan bread and Butter Chicken! Really good and I'm not sure how authentic but it tastes really good!! Must try if you like Indian food and in Toronto.

Yelp
My poor rating doesn't matter. This place is often PACKED. Went an hour before closing. Not as busy... PLUS staff friendly Unique experience They have a rickshaw inside.... NEGATIVE the chicken curry was $25..w rice. $25 ...$25 for rice and BONE chicken, not even boneless or breast. $ 2 5 ! You also have this quirky method of a dry erase board w marker, fill out your order, bring it to cash, (can't pay yet), then wait.. eat, now u can pay at the cash. U can only get a drink if I ask wait staff. This place is odd. Menu is written all over in sharpie, new prices I'm guessing.!? Don't want to print new menus, maybe just ask the customers to print it up, we do other jobs already...? Anytime I need to line up twice (with waiters), to place the order than pay for the order; waste of time. Pay when u order, sit down, eat and then leave. Overall, it was something. It was cold, baby was screaming; get me out off here.... Did I mention it's $25 for curry chicken...?

Yelp
Been going here for 15+ years and the place has maintained its name. The food is heavy and oily, so I would suggest ordering and limiting portions with that in mind. We enjoyed the chicken kebabs, and lamb curry! Kebabs were fresh and well marinated. The lamb curry was thick and very flavourful. The garlic naan was soft and well baked in the tandoor ovens. Make sure to ask for the grilled green chillies while eating!
google avatar

Aminah K.

Yelp
Came from out of town looking for good indian/pakistani food and this just wasnt it. The portions were not as big as other places. The actual taste and quality was not that good. I found something lacking into their flavors. The garlic naan had huge chunks of garlic was so unappealing. An overall disappointing experience.
google avatar

Anika R.

Yelp
About 10 years ago, my family dined at Lahore Tikka on our Toronto trip. The kebabs were to die for and we had to visit again on our trip this time, but all we were served was disappointment. The service was extremely bad - the waiters were rude, it took them forever to serve us water and refill, and it was pretty slow for a fairly empty restaurant. As for the food, I recall really liking their kebabs but they didn't live up to the quality I remember. We ordered the Mixed Tikka plate and the chicken wasn't even fully cooked... they refused to believe us after we told them and it took them a while to finally consider giving us a new platter. We also ordered the Butter Chicken and Paneer Tikka Masala, and the sauce for both were very lemony and tart which is unusual for both of these dishes. It has been a while since we last visited so maybe management has changed because the quality of this restaurant is no longer the same. We definitely will not be going back here on any of our future Toronto trips.

Yelp
You need to write the things you want from menu on a Board and hand over to the reception and they will do the rest. Ordered Garlic Naan, Lamb Tandoori , Basmati Rice and Palak Curry which costed us $32 ( Canadian Dollars). Service was quick and Food is decent. Roasted Green Peppers are complimentary. Parking Available. No Wifi.

Yelp
Came back to update my review after many years of this place being my top favourite Pakistani joint I went back there last night and sad to say I had to drop it down a star. Food was delish as ever so lets start there. However, the cutlery was disgusting. I mean really disgusting and got me wondering about their hygiene in the kitchen. Staff is always fast moving and hard working as ever so no complaints there. Part 2 of the complaint is wow have the prices ever skyrocketed. While I understand this place is usually slammed at the seams with long waits, I don't know if I can justify the price for substandard cleanliness and hygiene. Not to mention all the little pieces of bones in the dish def was a bit dangerous biting into it suddenly. I don't remember it being this annoying to eat one of their yummy dishes in the past. The wooden servers they now rest the dirty hot cast iron dish on takes up WAY too much room on the table. Either make the tables bigger or get round wooden charger plates that are the size of the actual dish. Won't be hurrying back any time soon sadly. Time to look for a new Pakistani place =(

Yelp
Came to visit my brother-in-law here in Toronto, Canada. We ate at Lahore Tikka House. This restaurant is not like your typical restaurant. The decor is plain and simple. However, it makes it feel very casual. I love that! My first time eating Pakistani cuisine. It was incredible!! At the end of dinner, I was so stuffed I can't move! Lol the staff were so friendly!! The atmosphere was great!! The place is packed with people. I would definitely like to come back!

Yelp
Ordered their beef/chicken/lamb kebabs. $4.29x2, $4.89x1. Pani Puri, $10. Garlic naan, $3.49 Take-out. Everything was packed perfectly in separate containers, with sauces. The kebabs had 1/3 inch gaping holes (skewer removed) in the middle. The taste were just ok. We waited for 20 minutes yet the kebabs were not piping hot when given. The meats (chicken/beef/lamb) were all minced not in whole cuts. The spices were more apparent than the taste of meats. The Pani Puri was refreshing with the yogurt added; the shells were not warm either. The naan was ok. Customer service, I would imagine, would have been good since it was not a full house when we were there. For kebabs, I prefer the Iranian soltani and Greek chicken souvlaki more (no gaping hole in the middle) and they tend to be more moist and meatier.

Yelp
This place was a hidden gem. One of the best Indian meals that we have had. It doesn't look like much. But the food was amazing. Entrees were large enough for two. Prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly. The only negative was plastic utensils.

Yelp
Decore: 5 Cleanliness: 6 Customer service: 10 Food: 3 (based on what I ordered) Price: 6 I was visiting Toronto on a business trip and stayed in downtown. This spot showed up on my yelp and decided to give it a try. The place was a bit dark and definitely in needs a fresh coat of paint and some proper ambiance. The host walked me to my table which was in a desperate need of some elbow grease and handed me a greasy marker and equally greased up whiteboard. The idea is that you write down what you want and then take it to the counter. I ordered lamb biryani. A few minutes later I was presented with rice and lamb curry mixed together to form biryani. No salad, no dips (raita) and the wooden plater was just plain disgusting. The meat was boneless and dry with no flavor and so was the rice. After having a few bites, I requested my food to be packed-- which was then tossed in my hotel room's refrigerator, never to be seen again. I haven't tried anything else from this place and besides the food, this place gave me the heebie jeebies.

Yelp
Poor service, and food substandard, half the order didn't turn up - was a major disappointment overall. The owner had an interesting attitude of either eat here or go away - probably this arrogance stems from the success so far. But success don't last long when customers are not treated well.

Yelp
Came here on a short trip to Toronto and really wanted to find real authentic Indian/Paki food. We've been to many Indian restaurants that try to modernize to western fine dining culture and sometimes quality and customer service is compromised. This place stays true to its roots, from the moment you enter you feel like you're in an authentic Indian/Paki restaurant that stays true to its culture and origins. Has a big seating area outside as well. Food was really good, ordered for a family of four and had more than enough left over as portions are good. Food all came out hot and stemming. Not one complaint on food, except maybe we prefer food more spicier and did not order it spicier in the beginning. Amazing aspect of the restaurant someone comes around to each table to offer fresh hot green chiles off the grill! People who have been locals may say that before the food used to be better, I can't test to that as I am not a local but the food was good compared to other local restaurants on the same street. Owner was very friendly to us and offered us complimentary kulfi. She gave us the history of the restaurant and how it came to be which added a lot of sentiment to the experience.
google avatar

Olavo L.

Yelp
The food is delicious and the service is also good. Their system is unique (and funny). You write up your order on a mini white board and walk up to the counter... it's weird :) The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the food is overpriced. 2 ppl with food, beverage and 1 desert is $70!!
google avatar

Yelp
We've been here twice now. One time on a super busy night and the place was packed and smoky and dizzying (in a good way). And now on a quieter night when we were there early and watched the place fill up - still fun. Gotta say that the kebabs are great. And we had the lamb chop and they were amazing. It is probably better if you go with a few people and sit some curries as side dishes. It all looks and smells great. It is immersive - since you will smell like grilled kebabs after a visit. But that is part of the charm. Friendly service rounds out the experience.

Hitesh S.

Yelp
It was a very good place a few years ago but post Covid my visit today was horrible. Starters took over 30 mins to arrive and Main-course arrived in 5 mins which meant something was already prepared and kept. 1) Chicken Biryani was basically Veg Pulao with Chicken tikka pieces added 2) Butter Chicken was some red thin curry with no taste to it. 3) Mango Shake felt stale 4) Chicken Tikka and the chicken kebabs had no flavour to it and were so dry that they were difficult to swallow There was no flavour or taste to any of the items. And the staff literally didn't care when we said the food had to no taste. $150 bill was a waste of money and horrible service.

Yelp
What a good place to get back to after so many year. The kebabs were just as good after so long. Just the lines were much longer!! Wait not so much. Which frankly I'm not going to complain. A restaurant that does well will have a longer wait. Nothing to complain. Me and my wife "may" have ordered enough food to feed a family of 4 and 2 out of town relatives. Most of it excellent, only gripe some of chicken pieces were just a tad over done. Also the pink beverage you see in the images a traditional tea from North India (Kashmir), it was quite nice.

Yelp
This was my friend's favourite place to come over the years and she seemed very excited to introduce me to some good Indian food. You first order your food and are given a number. You seat yourself and wait for the food. Ours took 20-30 mins. The table seating is simple. My friend ordered the butter chicken which she loves and we shared the king fish which I found very tasty along with the Bhartha (eggplant) which I ended up not finishing and taking it home. I would definitely return here again as I love king fish.

Yelp
Two of us shared the chicken biryani, beef karahi and a couple of garlic naans. The garlic naans were probably THE most loaded-with-garlic naans I've ever had. A little pricey at $3.49 a piece. The karahi was very loaded with meat and had a high meat to gravy ratio. Chicken biryani was meant to be shared between 3 to 4 people and had a boat load of rice and maybe half a dozen chicken pieces. It's different from traditional biryani (which has multi-colored rice and some solid spices). There's a dude that comes along with fresh charred chili peppers on a skewer. Obviously hot but a really nice accent to the meal. Overall a good option for Pakistani food if you can't make the trek to Mississauga. Side note but this place has a LOT of warning signs. Just struck me as odd. Multiple signs advising against bringing in outside food and drink (was this happening a lot??) ladies washroom had signs saying not to use water bottles or glasses in the washroom. Don't even want to know what that was about.

Yelp
I've been coming to this restaurant 20+ years and we were all heartbroken with news about Alnoor. I remember coming here for my older sister's 8th birthday and being greeted with such warmth. Alnoor uncle surprised us with the butter chicken and since then, the dish has never been matched despite being a staple dish in South Asian restaurants. It continues to be my guilty pleasure. I still feel the familial warmth from Lahore Tikka even though the menu has changed. This place still brings us so much joy and it reminds me of all the late nights coming here bringing visiting family members and the ambience and hype with the occasional dhol players in the background. I love this place and continue to this day. We tried the sizzling fish dish the other day which is a new favourite! The channa masala and chicken kebabs continue to be as delicious as ever. Don't let the negative reviews sway you -- this place is a hallmark of Gerrard Street and the food remains unmatched.

Yelp
3.5 Stars!? Really reddit? This is easily 5 Stars! Visiting bro in law this was the first restaurant he brought my family to. He chose it because it was always crowded. And good reason... ...the food was amazing!! This is a place you DON'T want to go if you're on a diet because you will be breaking it. Can't recall all we had but everything was deadly delicious! A diet-busting food feast that'll force you to think, F this diet. I have a feeling we'll be coming here again before we leave. Oh, the service was fantastic, too. Wait staff was ultra attentive and there to ensure our gastric gladness.

Yelp
This place is as good as they say it is! This is my must-go-to stop whenever I visit Toronto. We usually have a meal but we stopped by for snacks and tried the chaat papdi, pani puri, and mango shake. Literally, the best mango shake I've ever had, I highly recommend. Only tip for management: We caught an employee who was making food in the front area of the restaurant eating the food while making it with the same gloves. It was a little unsettling to see. This was yesterday around 6.

Yelp
I only come here for their liveliness and for their naans. I try to make a trip up here once a year in hopes that their food got better with time. Unfortunately, this is very average Pakistani food. Yet, their restaurant is always packed. I have never entered this place with it being empty. With that being said, there is always some sort of construction work going on because they want to accommodate everyone by creating new space. Now to the food.. I've tried it all and I don't really think anything is superb. I do find their naans to be the best I have ever had which is why I still come. I also feel like I am in Pakistan as well by their ambiance and from the people who work there.

Yelp
meh, OK. So, Lahore Tikka House USED to be good but im just not that big of a fan of it anymore. Surprisingly out of all of the dishes I ordered I liked the most simple one which was the chana, chickpeas. The flavours were there and you couldnt help but take more. The chicken kababs, beef kababs, biryani and butter chicken were just MEH. I didn't care to eat much of it and just ended up packing it to go. OH and their kashmiri chai sucks, i'd rather go a few doors down and get the other kashmiri chai thats served along the street. They dont put pistachio in it and instead put almond that are grated completely. The ambiance of Lahore Tikka House makes you feel like youre back home which is a nice feel. But overall theres just so many better places to eat if you want pakistani food.

Yelp
This place is way over rated. Got here and they served us our dinner before our apps. The naan came out first without any of our curries. They forgot a couple of the dishes we also ordered. Everything is super greasy as well. Staff is mediocre at best. Ordered the lamb Karahi, butter chicken, lamb kebabs and chicken tikka. Out of everything, chicken tikka was the best but not nearly as good as other restaurants (the host, Amaya, etc) Better indian / Pakistani food in GTA

Yelp
Honestly speaking I didnt find the food quality at all. Yes portion is huge and too much to eat, but the taste and quality of food is horrible. Way tooo oily and I ordered grilled tikka which was burnt honest nothing else. I wont turn up to this place for food at all.

Yelp
Coming from Los Angeles. This Pakistani food is on another Level! The food is amazing! one of the best tasting Pakistani restaurants I have ever been to outside of Pakistan. The Beef short ribs are mouthwatering. You cannot go wrong with any dish choice here. 5* check out the pictures I took of the dishes I ordered :)

Yelp
I am a high volume regular here and I love the food. HOWEVER, For the love of god please start taking chicken Briyani orders over the phone. It's super annoying to have to order it in person and then sit here for at least 20 minutes for them to make it. Also, your staff tends to forget about me and then 30-50 minutes could pass with my food just sitting behind them as I wait. I hate being that guy who keeps bugging the cash to see if the food that came out is mine.

Yelp
It has been a while since I dined at this place. Ordered my all time favorite Nihari Beef($16.99) and Lamb Biriyani($12.99). They both were served luke warm ( what is the point of serving on sizzling plate?) and Nihari beef had one big chunk of beef shank and another rather much smaller piece of beef and mostly sauce for $16.99. Service was very attentive but I did not find their food to be a la cart restaurant quality food.

Yelp
One of the best Indian/Pakistani food I have had in North America. The most authentic sheikh khababs, fresh crisp butter naan, baigan bharta, biryani, nahari!!! This place was crowed on a Monday night and it sure ought to be. I would recommend this for anyone looking for authentic Indian food. Service was wonderful. I loved the way, they brought out chillies on skewers. Everything we had was worth trying. The free raita and red sauce was very interesting. They just laid on every table in squeeze bottles. Loved it. Must visit!!!!

Yelp
This is probably the worst food i ever try in my life. First of all, the so call chiken bereyani, is not even closed to Pakistanian one, second if that was the case i just grab some basmati rice cooked on a spice package berayani with some pieces 9f chiken and it will be the same. And when you order food to take out, the food is so hot place on plastic container that when it comes home is already warm and the food doent taste like food BUT PLASTIC CONTAINER all the quimicals from the plastic co tai er is on the meal that i am going to call them now to find out what the fk. The chiken berrellani is shit And the paleek paner, tasted as if the dish got burn the spinach dish tasted smoked or burned and especially had been put in a plastic container that when they brought it to me also tasted like plastic, I did not eat it, throw it away I will not eat and swallow all the chemicals in the plastic as is obiously pure cancer so what the fk with those people who said they r a is r pakistanian business food restaurant when is not. i have tryed real pakiatanian food is good tasty and delicious and this people are just bullshiting everyone in town. So ashame and i am so upset that the so call chiken bereyani is not and the paleek pa er taste burn, smoked and probably i may have tasted all the plastic quimicals when they put the hot hot food in the plastic container. All went into the garbage money wise. If i knew this will be i will.do it my self. Very upset cx.

Yelp
Everything was amazingly delicious, can't recommend enough especially with groups so you can try out lots of flavours. Certain dishes can be a little too greasy, but that's what the naan / rice is for. Summers can get crowded and there's not much air conditioning, but you're there for the food.

Yelp
Walked over an hour to get because a guy in my hostel told me this was the best Indian / Pakistani food in Toronto. I ordered two of the lamb chicken and beef kabobs , a side of garlic naan and a samosa . The food was spiced and cooked to perfection . My only qualms with this place are that the Kebabs are on the smaller side and you can't adjust the heat level since the meat is premarinated. You can add a side of chiilis but it's not the same . . Whenever you go to an Indian spot and get tandoori items you usually get a green sauce as well as a sweet purple / red sauce .which I got with my kebabs here . With the exception of the raita this place offered the best duping sauces I've ever. I highly recommend you check this place out if you're planning to visit Toronto and have a hankering for Indian . I'll definitely be back .

Yelp
I really feel the LOVE when I was eating at Lahore Tikka House!! I was fully prepared for a crappy under construction/renovation place before my arrival from reading the reviewers and from my fellow dining mates. But I find that the imperfection of the deco gave it a certain charm. We were seated in the "Patio", just love this open and communal style seating! It gave me a feel of attending a wedding with all the music and noises, a feel of eating in an Asian countryside somewhere (yes it did get hot with the crowd and all the spicy and smoke from the food). Garlic Naan ($1.95) - was so good... yes a full carb attack.. fresh and soft and oily!! Butter Chicken ($10.95) - deliciously oily, the sauce taste so good with the Naan bread.. the chicken itself is so so Aloo Gobi ($7.25) and Chana Masala ($7.25) - hot and spicy and oily cauliflower and potato/chick pea! Guilty delicious and even my non veggie eating friend could not stop complimenting how good his veggie is!! Lahori Beef Kabab ($1.99 each) - soft and nicely spiced...and the sizzling hot plate makes the oil splashing everywhere.... hmmmm Kashmiri Chai ($2.49) - Pakistani tea tasted so good.. especially I am a fan of nuts... I drank that like a dessert! My first experience with pink tea.. now I am in love! Lahori Kuifi ($2.50) - creamy, custardy ice popsicle that never melt?? It is so devilish creamy ... just don't think about the fat content and enjoy!! The services here is awesome for a hole in the wall, under construction restaurant!! I have more attention than in one of those high priced snobby restaurants. PS the waiter was walking around with a long skewers of green chili peppers!! Just wave him down and he gave me all the chili I want!! :) I can't wait to come back here again with my dear friends!! Talking about smell and smoke eating here! My phone smells like Butter Chicken....I can smell it even I tried wipping it down....
