Truly one of the most disrespectful and poorly managed establishments I’ve encountered in a long time. After a full evening upstairs having cocktails and dinner, we were assured our large group would be able to head down to the bar afterward, only to be repeatedly misled about when the bar actually opened. The staff, particularly the doorman or promoter (hard to tell, since no one seemed to know what they were doing), was dismissive, unprofessional, and downright arrogant. He single-handedly turned away a group ready to spend over $2,000 — not because they were at capacity or following any real policy, but because his ego couldn’t handle being questioned.
It’s honestly laughable how badly this place has fallen. When it was Black Cat, at least it had a vibe, and it was run by people who had the decency and competence to treat patrons like actual humans. What a downgrade.
