Google
It’s a charming little restaurant that ticks all the right boxes. Good culinary execution coupled with great friendly service were enough of a draw for this place. The ambience and the vibes make this a must visit.

Excellent small bistro in the 7th, not far from Invalides and Musee Rodin. Lovely food and service : some of the best we have had in Paris, traditional French food beautifully presented

Google
Amazing lunch. Their formula was 28€ for starter/main or main/dessert. Qualitative products and tasty hearty food. The filet melts in your mouth as well as the potatoes. Wonderful! I had salmon with a very flavourful salad and cauliflower purée. Good wine choice. Minus: the bathroom is not the most inviting.

Google
Lovely spot with excellent service. We ordered several dishes and I’d get each of them again. Quaint ambiance, exactly the romantic vibes you’re looking for in an experience like this. Place filled up with locals so you know it’s good!

A place where you truly eat good food. Been here twice and everything was perfect. Simple but flavorful food.

La Laiterie is the restaurant I’ve recommended the most over the past years to friends visiting Paris for a high quality neighborhood style Parisian restaurant. A charming, family run Resto passionate but not pretentious about its food. In May ‘23 ownership changed. However I am happy to report that the new owners have kept the values of old. A small but delicious menu. Charming staff and atmospherics. And a good wine list (this could probably expand a little bit with time). Highly recommended.

Had an incredible dinner here for my first night in Paris. The veal stew was delicious and filling, the wine was great, and I had a nice conversation with one of the owners. I sat at the bar solo and was made to feel very comfortable despite the rest of the restaurant being full.

Google
Excellent!!!! Easily the best french food we had during our 1 week stay in Paris. After many disappointing mediocre (at best) meals at well rated (4.5+ stars on google) French restaurants, we were so happy and relieved we found this place!! It is truly a hidden gem. The service was lovely, the wine incredible, the food… perfect. So tasty, generous and reasonably priced. We left very full, happy and actually cancelled a previously booked restaurant on our last night, so we could eat here and have a guaranteed fabulous last meal in this city. Highly recommend

Yelp
Amazing meal in a petite bistro. The owner seemed to know most of his guests, lots of faire la bise and one table included a small adorable dog. Recommended by our hotel, we enjoyed the three courses for 25 euros and every bite was satisfying, balanced, and full of clean deliciousness. I started with a dish of leeks, he had the tomato, cucumber, avocado, we both had the fish (perfectly prepared), we both had the cheesecake. The menu is presented on a chalkboard. We sat at the tiny bar; while the place was almost empty when we arrived it was packed 30 min later. Pleasant bilingual service, with a bit of chat about wine (their choices were excellent)!

Yelp
Such a wonderful evening. The dinner was excellent. The service was exceptional. The Rose was perfect. Beautiful steak, great smoked haddock and the chocolate cake!! This is a little place you do no want to miss. I will be going back many times. Make reservations - it quite small. Thank you, JB. Great job. You made our evening so special.

Yelp
We found that most corner restaurants featured exactly the same food!! Boring!! But La Laiterie was amazing and unique!! Fresh vegetables, lamb, tuna, filet....wonderful balance of flavors!

Yelp
Happy discovery in a neighborhood which isn't full of them. For lunch, the €25 3-course menu is exceptional. I had the butternut with buffala, the pork cheek and the chocolate cake. All were truly delicious, and definitely homemade. Service was very friendly too.

Yelp
We live around the corner from this place and so we come here quite often. The food has always been very good and sometimes exceptional. Wine selection is very good for their dishes but don't expect a deep cellar. The staff are very helpful in both French and English. The only downside is that when full it can become quite noisy inside very fast as people raise their voices to be heard.

Yelp
Great dining experience! The food is amazing and staff is very friendly. Truly a Michelin winner.

Yelp
We just got back to our hotel and I felt compelled to write a review before chilling out. Truly an unforgettable meal, the atmosphere welcoming, unpretentious and teeming with locals. The service was so attentive and genuine and the food was clean, simple, and the ingredients were simply allowed to speak for themselves. The chalkboard menu was the first hint that all the meals were prepared with the freshest and local ingredients. My salmon was the best salmon I have ever had. I am not b--lshitting you. My son's hanger steak was cooked to perfection and the roast potatoes finished in duck fat were French crack cocaine. And leave room for the chocolate cake.... could I FEDEX some home?

Yelp
Great find. The food was outstanding and the staff was very accommodating even though we didn't have reservations. I had the beef and fries and my wife had fish and lentils. Both the steak and fish were cooked perfectly and really delicious. The bartender helped us choose a wine and gave us several samples and was knowledgeable about wines which was unique for such a small place. It was a great dinner. I would recommend making reservations as there are not many tables.

Yelp
Very good neighborhood bistro 8 mins walk from the Orsay in a lovely residential neighborhood close to the Seine! Good wine list and yummy food!

Yelp
This was our favorite lunch place in Paris. We happened upon it a few minutes before closing but they accommodated us anyway. The service was outstanding! Our waitress explained the menu to us as it was completely in French and we didn't know all the words. There were only locals there as well which always is a good thing. My mother had the steak and I had the pork. The pork was amazing! It was so juicy and flavorful, which is always a pleasant surprise with pork which is so often overdone ( I ordered mine medium). The chocolate cake was literally the best I have ever had! I would strongly recommend this restaurant. I would say it is more modem European than French as my pork definitely had Asian seasonings. It was delightful!

Yelp
The crowd is very Parisian preppy--les BCBGs who live in the neighborhood and their cousins from the 16th--but the food is quietly dynamite and relatively affordable, given the quality. The owner--super sympa, Anglophone-friendly--spent time in Berkeley working for you know who and I think has a cookbook to prove it. The room is decent, lit perfectly, and not overly loud.

Yelp
One of the best French restaurants I have been to since arriving in Paris in terms of food quality, feel, and service. My girlfriend arrived around 10pm on a Wednesday night and found the restaurant still very full of a mostly Parisian crowd (which needless to say is unusual at many "French" restaurants in this city). One of the employees (I believe she was the owner) came over and took the time to explain every single item on the menu, from entrée (appetizers) to plats (main dishes) in English (since my girlfriend doesn't yet speak French) and was incredibly sweet and accommodating. The menu provided us with three main dishes to choose from: veal, steak, and fish. Simple, elegant, and far from the overwhelming selection at most restaurants nowadays. The wine list was also very well-stocked with wines from all over the various regions of France. For the main dish, I took the fish (poisson) and my girlfriend took the restaurant's version of "steak-frites." Both were absolutely incredible. The steak was perfectly cooked, the potatoes were fresh and very well flavored and crunchy, and the accompanying sauce paired extraordinarily well with the dish without overwhelming any of the original flavors of the meat or potatoes. The generous serving of fish was perfectly cooked to the point of crumbling at the touch of my fork, very moist and flavorful, and covered with clams, mussels, vegetables, and had a perfectly light and citrus infused sauce. For dessert, we shared a gâteau au chocolat that looked simple (and not overly impressive) but more than made up for in a remarkably rich and complex chocolate taste and a dollop of amazing homemade whipped cream. Overall, fantastic and authentic French food, friendly and genuine service, and an excellent choice for a nice dinner any night of the week. Merci à vous!

Yelp
Had a late lunch here in late March 2015. Had the boeuf onglet with potatoes. Delicious. Great, intimate atmosphere. Superb service. Not an iAnything in sight. People actually enjoying each other's company and conversation. So unAmerican, and thus so wonderful!

Yelp
Started out with a lovely chicken broth soup which was absolutely flavorful and delicious. Went in next for the Ongelet de Bouef with the wonderful potatoes that are rumored to be fried in beef fat. They needed a little salt but they were delicious. Moved on two hours later to a lovely pineapple dessert fresh pineapple with a ginger syrup with a bit of mint. Mmmmmmm tasty. Nice lovely 2 hour meal due to fantastic conversation, good food, good wine, in a sweet little charming spot -you should try it

Yelp
If you're a foodie, don't miss this place! The food is truly inspired and is prepared by someone who enjoys his/her craft. And the front of the house offers caring and inviting service. The menu is short but very well crafted. I had an asparagus, Parmesan, with soft boiled egg entree that just might get me soon on a return flight to Paris as I'll surely crave and miss it. The ceviche my wife had was exceptional and the pepper Creme sauce for my son's steak et frites was to die for. Finally my mackerel was expertly prepared over a mixture of vegetables and a delightful broth. The staff's English was better than my French. It was a hot humid evening and they were attentive in keeping our water carafe full. They had a nice wine list and the desserts were fantastic. The pineapple with ginger and lime zest is not to be missed.

Yelp
We came here after a visit the Rodin Musee. We had the sardine appetizer which was good. I had the veal chop which was perfectly cooked and accompanied by braised fennel which was a great veg to go with the veal. It was perfectly cooked as I ordered - pink. My wife had the cod with veg and liked it a lot. Also a very nice wine list. Overall worth going although this is a popular spot and we were lucky to get seats at the bar - all the tables were booked for lunch on a Tuesday! If you go at night, best to reserve - they were turning people away at lunch.

Yelp
We came in at noon without a reservation but they were happy to seat us as long as we could eat in under an hour. We accepted and I am glad we did. The food was excellent, service was attentive and we were out in 50 minutes. We got their fish and steak and both were delicious!

Yelp
Small, warm and friendly. We both had the foie gras which was wonderful and the steak. Great wine and a shared chocolate cake. Not touristy, but they did attract a few (cool) American diners. Definitely worth a visit.
