Absolutely fantastic - the kind of places that is definitely better irl than in any instagram adultered post. The hike up is ok, the views are beautiful, and the last bit psycho torture :) but the moment you see the plaque with the name of the lagoon and the lagoon behind it.. it is just the reason everyone hikes. We were lucky with the weather, but only for a few minutes. The clouds settled in quite fast.
If you go on an organised tour from Huaraz, get ready for a long three-hour drive to go and another 3 hours back, with half of it in very bad and bumpy roads.
