Lake Biel

Beautiful lake. Warning that Uber is very unreliable in Biel. There are regular taxi's and trams/busses at the train station. There is a park at the lake and a snack shop and a restaurant. The town of Biel has lots of shops and restaurants. Most things close on Sunday in Switzerland. Walked from train station to lake. (Quite a few shops, grocery store etc in and right near train station.) It was pretty far. Google Maps for walking doesn't work well.

Beautiful lake at the city border of Biel city. From city center you can walk to the lake in 10 mins. Lots of activities at the lake : kayak, bike, swimming, there is even a sand beach. There are also tours of the 3 lakes by boat. Besides the wonderful scenery, there are several bars with friendly personal and reasonable prices. Wholeheartedly recommended!

Peaceful 🕊️ Best for summer, just to go in the lake! Beautiful in winters ❄️ Mesmerising during sunset 🌅 Whenever I go to this lake, it’s always beautiful. I feel relaxed & full of life ♥️ Definitely people living nearby must visit this place. Also during summers its very lively with the beach type restaurants & live music shows 🎶🎤🎸
