Lake Biograd

The most beautiful lake in Montenegro is hidden in the Bjelasica Mountains: Lake Biograd (Biogradsko Jezero). The lake forms the core of the Biogradska Gora National Park. The 1,600-hectare park includes one of the three last primeval forests in Europe. There is a very pleasant and beautiful walking path around the lake that you should not miss when you visit the lake.

Me the wife and kids really enjoyed walking around this lake, lots of seating dotted around and great view and activities to keep the kids entertained, we used it as a stop of on our way to dormitor national park where we had accommodation.

Very nice to have a walk around the lake or to have a picnic in one of the numerous arbors and benches.

Pure nature, paradise. Walking around the lake is unforgettable experience.

Nice park and lake, we took a boat for 8 euro per person. Instead of taking a boat you can walk around a lake

The park is closed for the cars until April 1st, but you can walk to the lake 4.5 km.

Great view, a little far if no car entarence, it is about 2.7 km walk if entarence is closed. Do the walk around the lake.

Beautiful lake and park of nature! 🥰 We took a boat ride and swam in the lake, then took a walk following the forest trail. Pity we had no time to take the longer trail too and see the animals too, but that's something left for another visit. 😉
