Beautiful lake with an island in the middle of the lake. You can get to the island by boat. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and activities available around the lake. Visiting the island is highly recommended.

Beautiful lake, the water is really blue and amazingly clear. The walk is fantastic around the lake, the water is really cold but feel amazing after a hike.

Beautiful lake with a pretty little island in it. I'd recommend doing a short hike near the castle or the far west end of the lake to get some height and a fantastic view of the lake and area

Absolutely beautiful place! If you're in Slovenia this is not to be missed! We were lucky with the weather also. If driving by car, we parked at the camping site car park. It's 4 euros per hour.

It's one of the best places I've ever seen in my whole life, you'll literally enjoy every moment there, I spent the day walking around the lake for more than 6 hours and I didn't feel bored, I also a hiking above the lake and really enjoyed it a lot here. Definitely recommend it very strongly. Don't ever come across Slovenia when visiting that beautiful place.
