Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp

I recently escorted a group to Kenya, and we had the pleasure of staying at Serena Lake Elmenteita. What a stunning property! The accommodation was outstanding, the staff fantastic and the food excellent. I highly recommend it! Great location too.

Just amazing, in one word.|First impression : at arrival, a very warm welcome, lounge area, .... mouths fully open. And we haven't the rooms yet. Just as on the website (yes these are real), very spacious rooms, all you need, nicely decorated.|The diner and lunch in the restaurant is excellent, and with a nice view on the waterhole (evening wildlife passes by) and the lake itself and the mountains on the other side of the lake. |We really enjoyed a short afternoon game drive to see the flamingo's. Yes, there are less and less flamingos(also in Nakuru).|Nakuru is just a short drive from this lodge. |In a nutshell : highly recommended.

A special shout-out to Dorothy, who went above and beyond for our 6-year-old twins. She kept them happily entertained, even giving my husband and me the gift of some much-needed couple time; truly above and beyond!||The food was delicious, expertly prepared to our preferences, and every meal was a delight. As for activities, we all had a blast, from horse riding,biking and game drives to archery, there was something fun for both adults and kids.||I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return. Five stars all around!|Where do I even begin? In summary, our stay was absolutely amazing. The team at the hotel is unbelievably professional, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring guests have a perfect experience.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Food, excellent - especially the chef who went out of his way to make sure we were well satisfied. Not to mention, the breath-taking views and good embience in and out of the rooms. I will definitely be coming back.

The camp is in a beautiful serene setting, on the shore of the lake.|The tents are very spacious and well designed. The food and coffee was excellent. The outside setting for lunch and breakfast, with a view over the lake, very special. |The staff was very kind and attentive, they go above and beyond. The dinner setting inside however was not nice. You can go for a self drive in the conservancy which was out of the ordinary. Nice stay but a bit overpriced.

Beautiful situation on the water’s edge. We had the Flamingo room, which was fabulous and HUGE. |The room had Elemis toiletries. Im not sure if this is standard, but they were great.|Good breakfast and 2 decent evening meals. The lamb broth was rather greasy, however, and the T-bone steak was so gristly that only 2 of our group chose meat the following evening (they did was the rib-eye steak was lovely, however).|Loved it and will stay again!

A stunning camp in a beautiful location. We were with friends on a safari group tour and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is exceptional and staff are friendly. The food is amazing!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel from start to finish. The staff were incredibly warm, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — with all the amenities you’d expect from a top-quality hotel.
