One of the most beautiful places in Geneva. Stunning views of the lanscape from on land and also from the lake cruise which is very well priced for a 90 minute cruise. The cruises are very regular and gives a whole different view. Lots of bridges crossing the lake at the narrower points, and lots of stalls and shops and places for food all within a couple of minutes walk. The tour bus and flower clock are also very close to the lake.

Even on a cloudy day in October it is a magical place, the sculptures, chateaus, buildings and gardens and vineyards dotted along the lake are fantastic. Great place to walk and just jump back on the train when you have finished your walk. You can even catch a ferry over to France or along the lake but the ones that go along the lake only run in high season. The water is crystal clear and there are lots of places you can swim.
