Lake George Winery

Lake George Winery was the perfect wedding venue. The stunning vineyard views and the wine cellar created a beautiful atmosphere that wowed everyone. Shelly and Simon were fantastic throughout the whole planning process, and accommodated every request. We can not thank all the staff enough for how well the day ran. The wine was exceptional, the service top-notch, and the entire day felt like a dream. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a wedding location!

Stopped in for lunch and was convinced to do a wine tasting. What a great experience, beautiful award wining wines and spectacular food. Simons wine knowledge and knowledge of the area was impeccable. Highly recommend dropping in, we were pleasantly surprised and I’m sure you will be too.

One of the best wineries in NSW! My mum and I did the $10 wine tasting and absolutely loved it. Our server, Theo was super friendly and knowledgeable. He guided us through each wine with great care and made the experience even more enjoyable. We also ordered the garlic bread, which was delicious and paired surprisingly well with the wines. Our standout favourite was the dessert wine which we couldn’t leave without buying two bottles. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this winery to anyone visiting the area.

We had a superb lunch, every dish was delicious, with the Mushroom Risotto particularly good. The wines were lovely and the tasing process informative and interesting. Staff were attentive and entertaining.

The people at Lake George Winery are fantastic, nothing is too much for them. We had a small issue and pronto someone was there to fix it. That wad good but they then followed up to make sure everything was ok. The cabin was very comfortable. The location is great with views of Lake George.

After searching through several venue alternatives for my daughter’s 40th birthday lunch, I settled on Lake George Winery and so very pleased I did! The staff and management were awesome. The food and wine was first class. The venue had a great atmosphere with plenty of room. The open fire setting setting and winter scape were just as they should be. Thank you to all for making my daughters day such a memorable one.

Lake George Winery offers a beautiful setting with stunning views overlooking Lake George, which makes for a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. The wine tasting experience is enjoyable, particularly with the Riesling standing out as a highlight. However, on quieter days such as ANZAC, the tasting sessions can feel slow, with long waits between tastings, which detracts from the overall flow and enjoyment. The pizzas served at the restaurant were average and did not quite justify their price point, lacking that special wow factor. Overall, while the wines, especially the Riesling, are commendable and the views are excellent, the service pace during tastings and the food quality could be improved for a more satisfying visit.

I had a beautiful wedding that ran smoothly except some minor hitches, which happens in all weddings. There are some people that have not had the best experience here and are nervous about booking their weddings here. What my partner and I enjoyed: - amazing food which was modified to suit our diet restrictions - friendly staff and variety of drinks - beautiful scenery to take photos What could be improved: - while my wedding was being set up, there was general public still around - lots of kangaroo poop around Things out of our control: - sick wedding guest - no show performer
