Lake George Winery

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Beautiful location, a warm welcome, friendly service, terrific food cooked to perfection and lovely accompanying wines. We were there on a Sunday afternoon for over 3-hours for a tailored tasting and 3-course lunch. Loved that we were able to relax and enjoy the day. Never once felt rushed or that we should be leaving. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our X mas week holiday at Little Rae and Lake George winery. Simon and Jag were awesome hosts and the wine is great. The Miel Riesling and Pinot Noir was superb. We will be back soon.

The food was spectacular. The handmade pumpkin and goats cheese arancini were delicious. The fish tacos were light, fresh and divine. The lamb pita was succulent and were a perfect mate for the rose. A top meal and excellent service!

2025 - Lake George Winery – a true gem! From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality made us feel right at home. Our host, Sandro, was exceptional – friendly, knowledgeable, and full of fun! He made our wine tasting experience unforgettable. The owner of the vineyard (my apologies for not catching your name) was incredibly gracious and kind, even giving us a tour of the wine cellar with an unmatched level of professionalism. The food was delicious and paired perfectly with the wines. Whether you’re visiting for a tasting or planning your next event, I highly recommend this wonderful winery.

After searching through several venue alternatives for my daughter’s 40th birthday lunch, I settled on Lake George Winery and so very pleased I did! The staff and management were awesome. The food and wine was first class. The venue had a great atmosphere with plenty of room. The open fire setting setting and winter scape were just as they should be. Thank you to all for making my daughters day such a memorable one.

We had a wonderful stay at Lake George winery homestead. The property was spacious, had a great scenic view of the vineyard and was perfect for our large family group. All amenities were excellent and the house was very comfortable. We will definitely be back in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Stunning spot, lovely hars working owners & staff. We enjoyed the 7 wines tasting option and a lovely lunch. We took home a case of the Tempranillo which was outstanding and 3 bottles of the Red Muscat Sticky, which were also exceptional: Christmas plum pudding vibes. We will be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stopover at Lake George Winery on the drive down to Canberra to purchase some wines, and had a very pleasant encounter with Mr Simon, who was very cordial. We also sampled the wines recommended and were happy with what we purchased. Thanks!
