I’ll have to return to Lake Havasu because this trip was WAY too fast. It’s a massive Lake which connects directly to the Colorado River. It’s a beautiful body of water with several docks, lakeside beaches, and water crafts. The two little lighthouses that welcome you to Lake Havasu are adorable, I was able to snag a pic of them! I arrived via a jet boat tour coming from Laughlin and it was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend hoping on a boat and exploring the lake a bit!

Google
Very nice state park. Definitely would come back. We stayed in our class c on the cabin loop. Grounds and bathrooms were kept up nicely. The beach and lake were a hit since it was 104. We utilize bikes alot and wish there was an exit on the south end of the park for bikes. Other than that it was great.

Camped him a 38ft Renegade, pull thru with 50A and water. Just across from the beach, next to the bathrooms. Beautiful beaches. We had shade from a small tree, shade over the patio. Theres a swimming beach located a 1/4 mile down the CG. We used Starlink. Jet boat fanatics do not use mufflers so expect noise. Convenient to town or London Bridge area. Grabbed this reservation late 2024 before price increase. Casino boat to CA Casino was fun. Came out with extra $ which is always nice. Lots of bike trails. Very busy & full sites. We camped at Lake Havasu State Park in a Motorhome.

The park itself is absolutely fine. But at the back of the park, where we were on pitch 36, you have a lot of noise from boats all day long and you're constantly in diesel fumes. It's not ideal for peace and quiet. No sewer at the pitch, but there is a dumpstation.

Lake Havasu State Park, Lake Havasu, AZ This park is just a short distance off I-40 and can be an overnight stay or a destination. There are generous campsites in 2 loops, the first loop also containing the cabins which had bunk beds and room for 6-8 ppl. The restroom was clean and had showers. We enjoyed a hiking trail that wound through a pollinator garden and beside the lake. There are 4 boat ramps within the park.

Google
A nice little beach area around Havasu Lake. You can take a little walk along the coastline to a nice little beach which was surprisingly clean. There is a no dogs allowed sign posted but there are courtesy doggie bags available. The sunset is very scenic, especially near the tiny lighthouse. You can see London Bridge in the distance and there are a lot of dining options nearby.

This State park on the south end of town is great. No more driving through town. Boat launch and beach area very well maintained

Yelp
Beautiful views and skies and so clean!!! Water was clear and just such a nice place to be.

Yelp
This is one of the Best State parks in Arizona so much to do out here. The people in Havasu are amazing.

FiftysevenNine T.

Yelp
The park is at the lake and the premium sites have a rock-strewn beach with hot murky water. The historical average for autumn was previously 97° or less. The new paradigm is a pathetic 118° May through October. Although the website indicated full patronage at the State Park, the reality is many no-shows or disgusted campers who vacated after a few hours of inhospitable heat on uninhabitable land. In October with the sun positioned closer to Antarctica than Arizona, it was 118° daily during my stay. My original plan was to enjoy a lake, a lake beach, a bridge, art walk, swap meet, concerts, and other amenities. However, mostly I spent my days at downtown cooling centers with the homeless or incarcerated in my RV with max air-con. Obviously, the town is possessed by resident evil. Hellheat is wrath. Lake Havasu is moribund.

Cata P.

Yelp
It's not a sandy beach, It is a small, the swimming area is also small, has lots of rocks and very noise with all the jets skis. If you are looking for a kids friendly sandy beach, this is not the place. It does have picnic area, shaded benches and bathroom.

Yelp
Stunning view! Beautiful park! We've stayed here two times in our trailer. The second time in a water view site. Waking up to the peaceful water each morning was a treat! I don't want to leave! The sites are well kept and the park is very clean. Guests are pretty quiet (at least in Fall). Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Lake Havasu. The deciding destination for our mid summer meetup. Although the 8 hour boating journey turned out to be much more than a state park tour. The group of adjoining co workers boarded the boat rental like a crew of experienced water crafters. Navigating through the low wake zone directly onto the Colorado river channels. A sailing experience as smooth as crossing the Lake Havasu Wildlife Refugee bridge. A bridge that serves as the official crossover into the tribal waters of Lake Havasu. Perhaps a symbolic landmark bridging two different walks of life. Hence the reason for Lake Havasu"s recently added London Bridge replica. A monumental landmark titled, London Bridge Channel Riverwalk. A special place. An area boaters can choose front row parking along the beach. A place timeless pirate ships can drift along the open waters unanchored. A sun-filled haven of water that alludes a spiritual state of well being. A State Park best defined as a Well of Earthly Being .

KJ O.

Yelp
You cannot go to Lake Havasu without going to this State Park! It has views like you cannot believe! I felt like I was in a tropical place in the middle of the desert! There are beaches, picnic areas, sand to sink your toes into and a panoramic view of the entire lake! It is $15 to get in per car and totally worth it!

Karina B.

Yelp
All the parks in Havasu are clean and always a nice outing for us! Now that the weather is cooler, we'll spend more time on the trails and enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

Ms. Y.

Yelp
The lake is what makes this place nice. Giving a 3 because there is NO shade what so ever, too many rocks where the tents are to be set up. I had to set up our tent in drive way. If you have a trailer it is a nice place because you won't have to use the mosquito infested restrooms and showers. No place to place your personal items when you shower but the hook behind the door. The mosquito issue is beyond terrible even with our citronella candles, citronella incense and bug spray we still got bit pretty bad. Other than that it is nice. Staff was friendly, nightly fee reasonable. Too hot at times. We were there this month, the coolest it got was 77 degrees at 2 am. 88 at 9pm.

Mini H.

Yelp
Beautiful State Park. Large, spread out sites on the lake. If it was full hookup I would give it 5 stars. It would also be nice if you could stay longer than two weeks at a time. Good rate at $30/night.

John S.

Yelp
They say pet friendly. They lie. If you want a place for you and your dog to enjoy, STAY AWAY!!! They don't want you here. One rocky beach with no trash (while demanding you pick up after your dog), no restroom, no tables. It's rocky ground on the lake. The other dog beach has 2 tables, one in shade. The other has been dragged to the water. This beach has bushes on both sides at the waterline. Are there snakes? Can't tell. But that's the only place you would find a snake, right? All this and and they won't refund your money. The experience lasted less than a half hour and the group in the little office just can't refund the state's money. So DON'T GO THERE. There are many better places see. Anywhere is better.

Hayley H.

Yelp
A park with a view? Count me in. During the summer time, Lake Havasu State Park is popping. Located central to the park is the Lake Havasu Channel - a stretch of sandy beaches for party-goers to park their boats and make friends. During winter/COVID season, this park is the perfect place to get outdoors for some fresh air, lake views, and social distancing. Since it's chilly outside, the park has minimal traffic, outside of a few dog walkers and cyclist. The park is also stacked with picnic tables, public bathrooms, walking paths, camping spots, and a plethora of parking. While Spring Break in Havasu is where it's at (fingers crossed on 2021,) I'd recommend filling a COVID-Saturday with a quiet picnic or boat watching!

Monique M.

Yelp
If i can give zero stars I would only because of the attitude i got when driving passed the entrance didnt see anyone at the entrance so I pulled up a little bit to look inside the office, the woman said you need to stop, although i was stopped already.... She says " you pulled up so far i couldnt see the tag i get it. Yeah i did pull up to the stop sign. But you werent at the window where you were supoose to be so i was checking if anyone was in there. And my vehicle was stopped, i have a dash cam as proof. Maybe try being a little nicer to brown people. Because everywhere i go here in AZ, Its the same thing. Feeling out of place when you go out of state to visit is the worse feeling you can have. Maybe try making people feel welcomed instead of giving attitude.

Nancy L.

Yelp
Most racist park I have been in Arizona and I have been here 4 times Four different years and under the same management. They try to make up rules that are not in their Arizona state park rules and procedures If your Mexican or dark colored. They continually harass you in your cabin and your camp spot. But RV with loud generator is ok compared to blowing up mattresses on a tent Tent camping is an issue if it looks dirty compared to an rv site My white friend got away with a loud speaker while I was asked to leave Representative was nice. Once manager came in. Staff turned rude. Front staff ride Day beach man in truck ride said we were blocking the emergency exits. These exits have not been opened in years I'm just tired of the harassment and the racism I wish they would remove this staff and the manager

Yelp
Beautiful park. Well maintained. We camped in a 30 ft travel trailer. Sites were very large. Grill, fire pit, n picnic table. Water n electric but no sewer. However, dump station was easy. Bathrooms more than adequate. Lots of water activities on the lake. We took the casino ferry (round trip $4) just to get out on the water! Very close to London Bridge, playgrounds, shopping, n restaurants. WE WILL RETURN!!

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Crappy if you have kids. Here now with my kiddos and it's been pretty sucky so far. There are no amenities for kids at all. Took my kids to the bathroom and had to listen to people having sex in the shower stall next to us. Then after the 3rd day, the rangers decided that I couldn't park my van in my campsite, and made me park it at the front of the park next to the restrooms. So now every time I need something from my car, or want to go somewhere I have to lug 6 kids and all their stuff all the way from the back of the campground. Bottom line, if you have children go somewhere else, this place is probably fine for adult-only trips though.

Shane T.

Yelp
Super clean and well groomed. RC plane pilots abound, locals and visitors. Cabins and campsites. Something for everyone, except a dog park. Don't think you can turn a dog loose or let them romp on the sandy beach or in the grass. Leash laws here. They will tell you where you can take your dog. For me I was advised to go up to the waters edge on the dirt area still being fixed up. My pups enjoyed the water's edge, cautiously. Took them on a short trail thru the salt cedar, on their leashes. Staff at gate rotates. I was blessed to have a lovely young lady on my first morning visit! Very thoughtful and helpful.

Yelp
We came here end of Dec 2019. This was a wonderful little state park with panoramic lake views and an awesome fishing dock. Unfortunately the spot we booked LHV-23 had a HUGE panoramic bush right in front of our back-in spot obstructing the water so literally couldn't see anything from our camper. Best spots were probably anything left or right of 23 (I guess that's why 23 was only one available...) But a short walk led to a secluded beach with plenty of seashells and bench/table. Could also see a bunch of small bunnies hopping around. Space had a fire pit, bench and table and was veeerrry far away from next camper so that was great! We were also quite a distance from the showers and don't expect anything extraordinary. It was a one person bathroom/shower facility in a split space and water turned cold QUICK! My daughter and I were freezing as we fumbled with our clothes (should've stayed in our trailer...There is a dump station on the way out of park) But it was clean nonetheless The best thing was the fishing dock. I walked out there late at night (no one was around) - it was about a half mile walk from our trailer. Didn't catch anything but such a wonderful spot to have all to myself. Had to purchase a one-day AZ fishing license (I did it online as I was sitting there fishing...) Overall park was great, spacious and had wonderful views. Would definitely stay longer next time

Yelp
The Arizona State Park system is so good, it's hard to pick a favorite. But, if we had to, Lake Havasu would probably be at the top of the list for a couple of reasons. First, the park itself is top notch with easy access off of Hwy 95. Sites are big and level with plenty of space between your neighbors. Amenities include electric (30/50) & water at the site and a dump station with water near the "cabin loop." They've also recently rebuilt their bathrooms with the individual design concept (shower, toilet and sink in each room) and a nice dishwashing station at one end. There are several camping options here - premium lakefront on the outside, standard sites on the inside (most have lake views) and a dry camping/overflow area down by the marina (asphalt parking lot). They also recently added several cabins - each with a spot for an RV (including W/E hookups). The cabins look like a great option for larger families. There is one main room that has 2 bunk beds and a large counter with plug-ins. There is no kitchen, but you could bring a hot plate, coffee pot, etc. There is larger bed in a separate bedroom in the back. No bathrooms in the cabins, but there is a bathhouse in the center of the loop. There is no Wifi in the park, but we had good cell service - AT&T 157.4 down / 13.8 up and Verizon 42.4 down / 12.2 up. We had no problem with work apps or streaming. Our neighbors said they got more OTA channels than any other State Park. The second thing we like about this park is the town of Lake Havasu City. With the lake and the nearby foothills/mountains there are endless opportunities to enjoy the outdoors (there is even a water toy rental shop on the premises). Also, there is a surprising food and entertainment scene for a town of its size. From Tavern 95 at the southend of town to Hangar 24 at the north end, lots of great food. Cha-Bones has a great 1/2 off appetizer menu for happy hour - including all day on Sunday - and is walking distance from the park (0.7 mile). For entertainment, don't miss the Flying X, Jermey's Juke Joint, or BJ's Catina (Sundays). An added plus is the number of festivals that happen throughout the year at the day use area adjacent to the campground. There was a Rock-a-billy festival during our stay and we could hear the bands from our spot. The park is sold out daily during the winter, so plan ahead or be okay with the asphalt overflow area.

Yelp
I happen to love Arizona State Parks, so it's no surprise that I love it here! Park Rangers are friendly, the park is beautiful and well maintained. Brand new restrooms being built (almost done), great boat launches (and PWC/jet dedicated ramp. Campground (RV and tent sites), I saw tiny houses being built, I'm SUPER excited!! Weekend launch is $20, but if you'll be visiting AZ parks frequently annually, buy a pass ($200 for a year). There is a garden inside this park, like a hidden treasure. You'll even find a few hiking trails here and a gift at the top, wait until you see!!! Fish cleaning station. RV cleaning dump (I forget what they're call?). Several boat launches. You can't go wrong visiting here!!

Amberlee V.

Yelp
This place is very well kept! We camped in campsite 32 and it was HUGE. We were just 2 people and we coulda fit about 4 more tents comfortably. There was a pretty much private swim beach and the park rangers were very diligent when it came to people there that weren't supposed to be there. Really calm and quiet, not too many crazy patriot loud music. Not too much shade but we were in the water anyways. Great place to stay

na a.

Yelp
We booked one night in the cabins just to have day use but we did end up staying the night. The cabin was clean (although the floor needs a deep scrub). It has air, electricity, and USB plugs which is nice. An outdoor barbecue/fire pit and a picnic table. Number 13 was right off an open area so very easy to access the water. We had a great time!

Ed M.

Yelp
We truly have enjoyed our stay at the park. It's clean, quiet any night and super close to everything great in Havasu. You got the lake, shopping, supermarkets, sights and restaurants. I would say you should stay here. It was very reasonably priced too. The only drawback was the site size, it's a parallel parking site and not a pull through. Also they told my Sara it was a full hookup and it wasn't. There wasn't any sewer hookup. They have a duo station on the way out. Still, great place, great time and awesome memories. If we get back this way in our RV, we will be back. Thank you!

Alexandra C.

Yelp
We have been here 15-20 times now so I can give you the run down. It is $20 a car to park at the state park or drop your boat in the water. Monday-Thursday it is $15. We have camped here and the view was beautiful and our site was many 30 steps to be out in the lake. They do not allow early check in at all. If you come before your check in time you will not be allowed in unless you pay the extra $20 and you can not go to your campsite. We just went to grab our boat and lunch and we were fine. They didn't even check if our site was available, they just said no early check ins are allowed. The campsite was huge and our was shaded by trees. Many sites are out in the open with no shade so choose wisely. We liked the location and you can not beat the price for being right on the water. It also has a separate private boat launch behind the campsites. We were able to fit our boat on our campsite. If you have a huge boat you can park it in the overage parking behind the campgrounds. They have a rule for not allowing unattached trailers so I think it just has to stay with your car/truck. The park rangers are on it driving around checking stuff. There are a ton of spiders in the restrooms everywhere. I don't mind but my son wasn't a fan of it. One other thing and I think this is an Arizona thing in general the shower water is f$@&$&@ hot! Shower early and late but the water is still hot.! The boat launch location is awesome and easy to get in and out of. The front location is packed and busy so be sure to be ready to get in and get out. If you're new to backing in a boat I'd recommend the back boat ramp it's much quieter. We like this location and would recommend. We would stay here again and again. Hope you enjoy your stay and please post any questions I can try to answer them! Have a blessed stay.

June D.

Yelp
I personally more into isolated locations when going camping. This place was packed. And when I say pack I mean that you weren't sure if you are in nature or in a football game. Noise from all over. And all I was thinking is this is the last time I am coming here on Sunday. Anyway. It is beautiful. My best advise would be to choose a better day.

Amy M.

Yelp
This review is strictly for the campground and rangers on site. We camped here in our RV for the first time and we had a gorgeous ocean view spot on the north end of the campground. The sites were extremely clean, as well as brand new bathrooms that were well kept. However, with that said, they need gnat control in them! The gnats are so awful near the river. They are everywhere! Even in our RV. But it sucks to go into a gnat infested bathroom to do your business. The crickets didn't bother me as much as the gnats did. The rangers we encountered were incredibly friendly and helpful. A tree was right overhead our fire pit and we were worried that it could catch on fire. So the next day my husband flagged them down and they immediately cane back with tree cutters and cropped the tree. Jake was one of the rangers an he was so incredibly friendly and talkative. Told us about the River Regatta going on. What to look for, what areas around the river to avoid during the event and at what times, etc. I'm sure we got lucky, but for the most part the park was quiet and everyone respected the quiet time curfew. Occasionally you hear a loud boat or two on the river but the majority of the river noise during our visit was during the daytime hours. Many times I'm afraid to leave our stuff out around our camper, but this was the first place I felt extremely comfortable doing so. Our site because it had an ocean view was $40 but I think the other campsites are $30-35. The beaches were clean and not crowded. The water on the north side of the campground smelt like sewage. But nowhere else did we encounter that. There's acute walking garden, and several little trails throughout the campsite. Great viewing for amazingly gorgeous sunsets. Will definitely be back again! This was by far our favorite place yet that we have camped! Thank you Lake Havasu State Park for an amazing place to rest our weary lake bodies! See you again soon!

Tina S.

Yelp
To bad I have to give one star. They'll let you in and take your money with no place to park. Worse customer service!

Jennifer T.

Yelp
We stayed in one of the little cabins here a couple weeks ago. We stayed in cabin #15, Chukka Walla. These cabins are really clean and fit our large family perfectly. Bring your own bedding and anything else you'd need to camp with, because there's nothing in there except an air conditioner (which worked wonderfully but leaked a lot of condensation), a few chairs and beds, which was perfect for us. One queen sized bed in a private room with it's own A/C and then two sets of bunkbeds in the main room. There's a little bar with 4 chairs. Outside you have a fire pit and a picnic bench. The lake is right in front of you, it's like having your own private little beach area. The kids can't wait to go back!

Andrew C.

Yelp
Came here expecting a nice play to chill at after a 2.5 hour drive from Las Vegas. I did some research and believed this to be a good place to go. I had prepared some meats to grill, with drinks, and my own small charcoal grill with coal chimney and mesquite charcoal. Upon arrival at the gate, I had paid the $20 entrance fee per vehicle ($15/day M-Th, $20/day F-Su) and asked for some recommendations on where I should go if i want to grill. The person who was at the gate had said, "due to a state law, charcoal is not allowed, only liquid gas such as propane". I didn't question the workers her as i believed they would know it better than I did so i drove in. Drove around the parking lot, passed the boat launch area, and there was an area with cover, WITH BUILT IN CHARCOAL GRILLS !? Not to mention the bathroom that is locked.... On multiple web sites such as GoLakeHavasu.com, it mentions "Picnic tables, grills, and shade covers make this the perfect site to spend the day at the beach" or AzStateParks.com states "Picnic tables, shade ramads, grills, potable water, and restrooms available". Quite the lies flying around? I dont mind the $20 fee but at least give me the facilities that i had expected to be able to use. I had been too heated and decided not to even go back to the guard to argue for my $20 back. Just thought of it as a lost cause and went on my way in search for new possibilities Granted, if you do have a boat, i think this is a great place to set your boat off... But since i don't, i cant say much about it. Without any possible way to cook, i had drove to the nearby wal-mart in search for a small, cheap gas grill to possibly use for the duration. I had asked an employee there and he was baffled at my question about what the gate guard had told me. He himself has never heard of such as thing. He mentioned possibly due to a fire in recent history done by homeless on a beach but he's never heard of charcoal being not allowed. In fact, 90% of the grills Wal-mart carried were charcoal ! This nice employee had recommended Rotary Park, which was a little passed this state park, which is where we ended up at

Natalie S.

Yelp
Lake Havasu State Park cabins a definitely no I came here the first day we went out for a swim came back and red ants were all over our food I called the front office they told me the manager wouldn't be until the next day and that he would come by the next morning to see me he never did he never called then the next day when we got in our cabin my grandson stepped on one of the bunk beds there was red ants all over him and we all had to sleep in one room which was the queen bed because there was red ants all in the front room they never came by to fix it again so I definitely no because of their customer service otherwise our other cabin was great

Cheni D.

Yelp
We had wonderful time in this place, Very nice clean and organized RV park They have also a store with all your camping needed, 15 minutes drive from the park entrance, Very recommended

Cindy M.

Yelp
Beautiful views from RV site 8. Well groomed beach and site. Nice, clean bathrooms and showers. Shower became alittle cool at times. Minutes to shopping and restaurants. Excited about waterfront camping cabins that appear almost finished.

Joe S.

Yelp
Terrible management, never answers their phones. Will tow you in a heartbeat even if there is no sign saying NO PARKING. They towed me after I had to park by a exit gate that gets NEVER OPENED and has barricades and signs saying not an exit. There was absolutely no parking for anyone who launched so everyone had no choice but to park along the curbs. Had to call around to Tow Companies to see who grabbed it since there was no Rangers or numbers listed and they never picked up the phone. Tow company said they told the rangers they could not tow it unless cops told them to since there was no sign saying you could not park there. He said they never open that gate. Cops came and cut my trailer lock then told them to tow it. 400.00 dollars later and 9pm I finally got it. Havasu cops are the worst and always have been. Everyone knows it. They hate Ca people.

Matt M.

Yelp
One of the best state parks I've ever camped at. We stared a road trip down from Vancouver BC through California and Arizona. I have to say the cost is 1/2 of parks we visited it other areas and the amenities are twice as good. Hookups included, water at your site, clean and safe grounds, free hot and clean showers, soap etc. We only wish our spot had a covered area. Not only is it a beautiful spot and gorgeous lake but the park it's self was the best we stayed at on our entire trip. We will be back one day!

Aftin J.

Yelp
Spent the day out on the water in my cousins boat. The canal was packed with Spring Breakers, but it was so much fun listening to all the music and seeing everyone enjoy themselves. Fortunately, we were able to dock the boat on a piece of beach, which allowed us to walk around and soak up some sunshine. We walked to a lighthouse and took in the views of the water. My only complaint is the the restrooms are portapotties, and there were only two stalls. I'm sure there were other restrooms across the park, but I think having a more permanent location is wisest. Overall, I had a fabulous time out on the water.

Stefan T.

Yelp
The spring break spot for the nearby party universities. If you feel as though you missed out on the college life you might make up for it by visiting next spring. This is a seasonal place. On an odd summer day its probably not as fun as when all the "gone wild" people are here in the spring. During the summer I can assure that you will have your fill of heat. Its beautiful and calming being near the water. Good for a quick visit or if you prefer to camp a bit.

Barry V.

Yelp
It is a nice park and campground but the management sucks and does not show empathy to guests. We arrived in our motorhome 45 min early and wanted to hangout in the huge open parking lot are to unhook and wait to check in. The manager refused unless we paid $20. This is not a great way to treat out of state guests.

Javier O.

Yelp
Great Camping in the Cabin Loop area. Due to Covid some Camp sites are blacked out so it makes it even better. The Rangers are awesome people. My buddy rented a Motorhome and his stabilizers would not retract the Rangers helped till we figured it out. They were so cool. The areas are all clean !!

Hovik M.

Yelp
My family and I were headed to the Grand Canyon and on the way we noticed lake have a Sue is only 19 miles off of Rout 40 we decided to stop and spend the night... One of the best decisions I've made in a long time It's truly a beautiful lake!

Kimberly H.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE camping here! Did not feel like real camping, more like glamping thanks for the running water, electrical outlets, flushing toilets and warm showers! Such a beautiful state park- water was warm and clean. Be sure to bring water shoes because it is pretty rocky. Large campsites and did not hear noise from other campers nearby. We walked to the day beach area, it was really nice too. There were grills for BBQ as well as a patch of grass. If you wanted a break from the sand, you could hang out on the grass. The sunsets are amazing here too! Very close to the London Bridge and TONS of restaurants. Can't wait to go back next year!

Yelp
This review is about our experience. We arrived on a Wednesday and it was beautiful. There were large, loud speedboats loading and unloading at the ramp next door to the campground. At 10pm that ended and we enjoyed peace. The next day boats started arriving for an event and the mindset was the loudest engine was king. We witnessed many speedboats driving in too close of range of smaller boats leaving those boats bobbing in their wake. A lot of idiots on the lake. Quite time is 10pm and there a few who decided to not obey the rule our second night. The sound of these large speedboats was deafening. This went on almost an hour. In addition there is a casino ferry that goes back and forth between the London village dock and casino every 30 minutes. I can't describe the sound that was vibrating through the air and shaking the ground. This ended around 12:30am. It took a few minutes for my ears to clear. Imagine Chucky Cheese at 1000 times louder. As to the campground there are two restrooms, one with showers, which are kept clean. Some campsite tables have a metal canopy, all have a decent size grill for food and campfires. The number of shade trees is poorly lacking. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you are a boating fan this is the place for you. If you are looking for quite or are tent camping choose one of the other state parks south of here.

Yelp
If you head to Havasu---you must be ready to party like a rock star.....so get in the right mind put your pasties on (i'm serious!) and shake a tail feather. This place is absolutely crazy. there are no limits. We had not even dropped anchor and my college daughter and her friend were already doing a beer bong on a big party boat...so you will make friends easy out here. Not a relaxin cruise on the lake by any means but you will enjoy yourself. The only thing is you will have a crowd when you go to pull your boat out as there seems to be a crowd gathered around to hoot and holler as people pull the boats out and they rate you on how well you do. We had some drunk guy plow into the back of our boat trailer while waiting to pull out and he just destroyed it so we had to sit around for a few hours and wait for a water tow to take our boat to storage while the trailer was repaired...still it was a memorable experience and I encourage you to try it you just might like it....

Yelp
Weather was warm. Flies were in full effect. Camp amenities were great. Came here for the first time to camp out for a couple nights. Odd to find there was no one manning the front gate at night, so we just paid on the honor system envelope. Camp grounds were nice, clean, right on the water. Had a problem with a javelina coming round our camp ground at night. There is a lot of brush near camp ground 14 where I think they have their den, so just steer clear of that. Showers and bathrooms were well maintained and clean. Water in the showers was even hot! We ended up taking off one day early and I wasn't allowed to cancel my reservation because it was too late. Kinda a shame that no one was even allowed to use that camp ground even after I told the front office. I guess I get it, just seems like a waste. All in all it was a nice campground. The heat and flies in the area will probably steer me away from coming back.

Yelp
Don't do it. Save yourself a ton of money and aggravation. The park by the cabins is nasty. It stinks like crap because of the debris and they don't clean the beaches. Not handicapped accessible and the rangers are petty power hungry. It's was one of the worst places I've ever been. There is no beach. Just rocks. Go to Parker. So far I am completely underwhelmed by the AZ State park system as a whole. They are over priced and they don't maintain them, but if you like harassment limited access, knock yourself out. It's a hard pass for me.

Yelp
Windsor Beach, small beach but it was OK. $20 to get in and no showers or life guard Inlet very close by. Boats coming and going non stop. Lots of noise pollution and oil and grease from the boats floating on the water Not recommend for swimming. Not coming back

Yelp
Make sure your spot has a canopy, because you are going to need that shade! A few small trees are planted, but it will be at least a decade before they offer any. There is a sandy beach, but the lake is so rocky you'll need sandals or river shoes to go in, or else suffer shredded soles. No garbage cans at the campsites, so be sure to bring your own. There's a lot of garbage and dead carp lying around. All campsites are "improved" with electricity, so no cheaper tent sites if you don't need or want it. I am giving it 3 stars because it's on a lake in Arizona.

Yelp
This is our favorite place to take our 5th wheel and Tritoon boat. We love the park, it is clean, the staff is super nice and the place is just beautiful. Also, it feels like you are out in nature, but yet it is only a few minutes to town. Super convenient!

Yelp
It's a ridiculous $25 to just enter the park. It might be ok for a family with a boat but for a single guy who just want to go there for an hour it is highway robbery.

Yelp
We loved our stay here! The campground is clean, spacious, and beautiful. The sites are nicely spread out, you don't feel like you're smothered by other campers. They have an awesome trail that goes all through the park. The only things we don't really care for is that they advertise that they sell firewood, but they don't. Closest place is a gas station that's about $7 for a super small bag. Also, there is a dog beach but it's not where the map says it is and it's not very well marked. I would definitely stay here again though!
