Lake Hood Inn

500 dollars a night and the breakfast is not even included. This is a bit of a joke! Nor the shuttle from one hotel to another for their costumers. Again, for that price simply not what you expect.

Absolutely a wonderful place to stay and relax if you enjoy aircraft,float and fixed wing right at your balcony with headsets provided to listen to the controllers whilst you have Tea Coffee or a Cold one and right alongside the International Airport operates 24 hrs with large freighters and a variety of passenger aircraft. The host Bill is very easy to correspond with,has his own aircraft on floats and being on the Lake front uninterrupted views. Also only a 5min walk to the Hotel for any meals or drinks you might wish for.

Pilots Paradise, doesnt get any better. Watch non-stop float planes take off and land and listen to them from the deck with the built in headphones. Rooms were great. Price is right. Location perfect base to tour all things avaiation and close to both airports. Hoping to return again.

The personal service was extraordinary! I can't say enough good things about this place. If you stay here, you won't regret it.
