My husband lost his platinum wedding band in Lake Keowee just before our first anniversary - we were both heartbroken when we left the lake and assumed it was gone forever. Enter Bill. This man is an absolute professional diver. He showed up with all the right gear, methodically searched the area, and—against all odds—he found the ring. The whole thing still feels unreal. He kept us updated and treated the search with care and urgency. He was skilled, optimistic, and focused throughout the entire process. We are beyond grateful. That ring means so much to us, and Bill got it back. If you’ve lost something precious underwater, don’t hesitate—Bill is the person you want on your team. Today, my buddies and I got to dive in Lake Jocassee for the first time and we had a wonderful experience thanks to the Lake Jocassee Dive Shop on Dive Buddy Ln. Our boat guide was incredible and went above and beyond what you usually expect. He helped us get our gear on and off at every step (two dives) and he would anticipate our need for help before we even knew it 😅 Thank you Lake Jocassee Dive Shop for an incredible experience, I'll be seeing you again soon!

We didn't dive with them, but we bottomed out our boat trailer right in front of their shop and destroyed a wheel and tire. Without a second thought, Trip grabbed some equipment and within just a few minutes had us back on the road with our spare. All he asked was that we just pay it forward. If that is how there team approaches their work, I would think anyone would have a great time diving with them!

Great place with a very skilled and professional owner and employees. They offer gear, certification and dive tours on the local lakes.

We stopped in earlier in the day just to look around and get some advice on which spot they thought was best. Tripp was very helpful, even drawing a more detailed map of one location than I had found online. We ended up coming back by when we had an issue with a tank we had rented from a different shop. He let us borrow the part we needed to dive and even went above and beyond to give us options to return it since we were leaving after they closed. Fantastic customer service! We will definitely be using them again if we are ever out this way!

Fantastic shop. We were looking to get some practice in after getting open water certified. Bill took us out to the dive site and gave us a great briefing for the day. This was our first dive after open water certifications, and he didn't mind all of our questions. He answered kindly, patiently, and informatively. There were also some very experienced divers on the boat with us which led to some great conversations and company. Can't wait to go back.

Great Dive Shop!!! My wife and I dove with Bill and his crew twice this past weekend and had a blast both times. While the laidback nature of the operation might not be for some who prefer the more commercial operations, it was PERFECT for us! We never felt cramped or rushed. Bill asked us to analyze our own Nitrox tanks which we both appreciated as some operations expect you to just take their word on what's in the tanks. Throughout the preparations to go diving, there was a feeling of a bunch of good friends going out for a casual day of lake diving. As for the dive sites, we dove two of the underwater "amusement park" style areas which had a lot to see including some VERY friendly fish. Our personal highlight was the last dive on Sunday when Bill took us to the dam wall. In his words "keep the rocks on your right, move at your own pace, and I'll follow the bubbles." It was the most relaxing dive we've been on plus we saw some pretty big fish. I literally can't say enough good things about the team at Lake Jocassee Dive Shop. A very big thank you to Divemasters Jerry and Joe. A special shout out to Zoe who keeps the office running and everyone on track. Thank you Bill for running an amazing operation! We can't wait to come back!

My 2nd time diving with them. Great dive shop. Friendly and helpful. I'll be diving with them again. There are still more dive sites at this lake that I haven't been to yet. Lots of room on the boat. Since a lot of my dive trips along the coast have been cancelled due to rough seas or boat problems, etc...I was determined to get some diving in very soon and Lake Jocassee Dive Shop came through for me.
